Effect of water-lime ratio on the properties of lime mortars.

Diploma thesis gives a brief description of the traditional technology of preparation of lime mortars for restoration of historical buildings. The theoretical part is focused on the preparation of lime mortars traditional methods, using appropriate materials for making and influence amount of water. Attention is also paid to the events that take place in the setting and hardening of lime mortar. In the experimental part of the research was conducted, which aimed to assess the influence of water-cement ratio and mixing ratio (binder to filler) on the properties of lime mortars. At various times were measured mechanical properties, density, shrinkage, frost resistance and porosity. The mortar was also carried out thermal analysis and found to contain calcium carbonate. Acquired knowledge could help in the reconstruction of historical buildings.

This thesis analyzes the materiál flow, layout of the workplace and varieties of waste in the chosen company. There is theoretical background for the thesis in the first part. Next part is focused on analyzing of present manufacturing process. There are provided solutions for lean implementation, better material flow and elimination of the waste in the manufacturing process in the last part.

This master´s thesis deals with proposal of logistic concept od company with its integration. There are analyzed various theoretical basis for cognition and analyzing the problems of the current situation. The analytical part is examined progress of orders and manufacturing processes. The aim of this thesis is to find the weakest points in these processes and propose measures for improving the logistics concepts and thereby upgrade the future value of the business.

Construction and Manufacture of a Clamping Device

The thesis deals with various aspects of the structure - manufacturing solutions fixture in terms of small manufacturing firm. In the thesis are discussed problems which the author of the thesis with small-scale production meets. A substantial part of the thesis is also made by comparation of the production of small series production and large series. Emphasis is placed on efficiency and economy of the entire production process.

Production buildings, Production of aquariums in Brno

To commence, the main theme of this paper was to design a newly built manufacture of the Aquarium Pavlica Company. This business is specialized in the production of aquariums, which are designed for the interiors of homes and general public buildings. The main foundation for the project is an architectural study paper which was done in modules AG035 - Architectonics Studio and AG036 - The Complex Project. The design of the object is situated in a slightly slopping land in Brno, Horní Heršpice, Sokolova Street. Currently, the land is registered as a brownfield by Brno City Municipality. There is one small building on the land, which is planned to be demolished. The entrance to the site is located to the North Side - from the main road. In addition to this, the entrance is barrier free and easy to access. The front side of the designed object is parallel with the road on Sokolova Street. The main requirement was to create a convenient setting for the manufacture along with the social administrative facilities. As well as that, the requirement was to create space for a permanent exposition. The designed manufacturing object is divided into numerous separate parts. The building consists of an entryway, permanent exhibition, convenient facilities for visitors as well as facilities for the employees, which are all located on the first floor. The administrative section of the building is located on the second floor, along with the offices and a terrace. The two floors are connected by a stairway and an elevator that is barrier free. The manufacturing part of the building consists of two separate units. Firstly, it is the hall for the manufacture of the aquariums, which is equipped with a crane rail. Secondly, it is the carpentry. The flat green roofs will cover the whole building. The bachelor thesis describes the method of data collecting from production machines and their flow. It documents the process of analyzing data with a gradual progression in terms of processing efficiency and adding more useful information for the production and technological department. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the process of data visualization in the form of reports for the management of the company and its departments.

Finding contexts of etruscan fibulae

This thesis is dealing with Villanovan and Etruscan fibulae, their typology, chronology and location within the tombs of necropolises of Veii. The aim of this thesis is to point to the occurance of fibulae in different time horizonts, to show their development and to compare the necropolises of Veii with other specific locations in Italy. The thesis focuses on evaluation of development and relations of the components of funerary equipments, localy and outside the area of Veii as well. Based on the data collected it is possible to point out the similarities of the necropolises of Veii and to compare them with more distant locations in Italy. Visualisation of Manufacture Schedules

Thesis is focused on creating a web application that visualizes the manufacture schedule in a user friendly way. Most industrial activities are currently trying to maximize the use of production resources, which in turn leads to increased efficiency of production itself. The basic goal of the application is to achieve the mentioned efficiency. The application displays a massive manufacture schedule in the form of a Gantt chart, which can be easily examined and analyzed. The diagram allows various manipulations with its elements: selection of individual sources, scaling of the timeline, display of additional information. The result of the visualization is a comprehensive picture of the planned industrial manufacture.
