The Study of Management Non-profit Organization in Education

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design an optimalization of managerial activities of non-for-profit educational organization to ensure efficient flow of its activities and efficient decision-making process in the management of this organization. Theoretical knowledge about this issue is compared with „real life“ state of non-for-profit organization – Kindergarden, Brno, Elišky Krásnohorské 15. The analysis of nowadays state of management is based on internal documents, code of law for education, regulations and publications on organizational management and economy. Finally, recommendations how to improve activities in management of non-profit-organization are conceived.

Management Functions of the Coach in the Chosen Sport

The goal of this Bachelor´r thesis is to find out, if the coaches are using managerial functions in their coaching role. There are definitions of the terms related to coach´s management tools and their key qualities. The theoretical knowledges that I learnt are applied to divisional football club HFK Trebic. There are suggested recommendations for improving the quality of coach´s work in this thesis.

TITLE: Management functions and their delegation in the nursery school. AUTHOR: Iva Amin DEPARTMENT: Charles University Prague Faculty of Education Education Management Centre SUPERVISOR: Mgr. et Bc. Jiří Trunda ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to define some terms and theoretical theories concerning the issue of management, managerial functions and some knowledge, skills and responsibilities of managers adhere to the principles of a successful delegation of tasks and selecting the appropriate delegate. Whether the director of the kindergarten can select the appropriate taand delegate to observe the principles of a successful delegation, showed the results of empirical research. Method for empirical research was a survey. The questionnaire was designed for stand-alone nursery school director with legal personality. It addressed a total of 100 managers from kindergarten in Usti region, the return of questionnaires was 57%. The results of the survey were analyzed and processed into graphs. The outcome of this work is a set of views, recommendations and methods that managers use to manage specific activities (so- called management functions) and their delegation in kindergarten. Support of the beginning directors of kindergartens from 1990 to present

This diploma thesis provides information on the subject of supporting beginning kindergarten headmasters. It deals with the changes of this support from 1990 until the present. The objective of this diploma thesis is to find out the opinions of the headmasters of pre-primary education schools in Prague concerning the support provided by the state, school authority, middle management, the previous headmaster, other colleagues and educational institutions upon taking up their the post. The theoretical part introduces the basic terms connected with the headmaster's managerial functions and competences as well as with the historical development of the kindergarten headmaster's function in relation to the support received upon taking up their post. It points out the necessity of external support of headmasters during their career, especially in its beginning. The empirical part of the thesis is based on studying specialised literature and on survey results. It assesses the headmasters' experience at the beginning of their careers as headmasters. It evaluates the quality of assistance provided and points out the missing links of subvention. Analyses of the system of planning in the selected company

This bachelor thesis is engaged in managerial function planning in a selected company in the Czech Republic. The chosen company is Robert Bosch spol. s.r.o., located in České Budějovice. The main goal of this work is to determine the issue of the business planning on the basis of theoretical knowledge in this field, verify the knowledge and practice of the particular company, draw conclusions from the verification and propose measures to improve planning in the particular company. This thesis briefly describes the management, its importance and function, it analyzes in detail the managerial capacity of planning. Knowledge are detected by means of questions and answers with the executives of the company. Suggestions and recommendations for the company is provided result of this paperwork.

Managerial decision in practice - acquirements, management tools and styles of decision making

This work deals with questions of managerial decision. It is put in practice through list of questions. The guestionary has been given to employees of Pražská teplárenská a.s. The theoretical part defines the concept of management in general, deals with stages of management and describes management functions. This chapter includes also the methodology used in practical part.The second part distinguished Pražská teplárenská a.s. company, describes it's history, leadership, subsidiary companies and economic results. The third part, analytical, desribes informants and the structure of the questionary. It's biggest part deals with results of the questionary and summarise them.
