Competitive position analysis in the market with managerial education

The final thesis deals with competitive position of an educational institution, which provides Masters of Business Administration programs on the Czech market with managerial education. Using the methodology of positional maps it evaluates the power of the school towards its competitors. The thesis includes an analysis of internal and external environment which provides us with major strengths and weaknesses of our institution. It also sets the fields management of the school should concentrate on. The thesis can also serve for MBA potential customers as a list of institutions which provide this type of education in the Czech Republic.

Present-Day Trends in Further Education of Future Managers

The Bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical one. In its theoretical part, first are defined key notions relevant to the topic of the thesis. Further there are described individual institutions dealing with the education of managers. The practical part is focused primarily on a comparison of the Faculty of Management with the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice and another comparison between the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications of the University of Žilina. There are compared subjects taught at these faculties as to their contents and their classification in the framework of particular terms. In the conclusion of the practical part, the established data are interpreted; the results of this interpretation are certain recommendations of how to improve the quality of education at the Faculty of Management.

Strategic Analysis of International School of Business and Management

The aim of the thesis is to make a strategic analysis of the newly opened private school by University of Economics, Prague. For analysis of external environment is used PEST model and Porter's model of Five Competitive Forces. Special attention is paid to description of Czech-MBA-schools market. Internal environment is described by analysis of company's resources. Outputs from partial analyses are summarised in SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis serves than for formulation of strategic recommendation to ISBM.
