Population models in biology

In this work I focused on a program creation to demonstrate population models in biology, concretely in Matlab program environment. The aim of by myself created graphic interface is modeling from directly given parameters or parameters gained by appropriately chosen optimalisation methods for concreate population model type from loaded real data, whereas I efforted to create such a model, that fits the most approximately with real datas.

Stabilization methods for unstable solutions of the discrete logistic equation

Diplomová práce pojednává o stabilizaci diskrétního logistického modelu pomocí několika řídících metod. Je zde provedena především stabilizace rovnováh, 2-periodických cyklů a 3-periodických cyklů. Ke stabilizaci systému je využito proporčního zpětně-vazebního řízení, zpětně-vazebního řízení s časovým zpožděním a řízení založeného na predikci. U každé metody je diskutovaná stabilizační množina pro řídící zesilovač spolu s oblastmi stability pro odpovídající kontrolovaná řešení. Všechny teoretické výsledky jsou ilustrovány grafickými interpretacemi v softwaru MATLAB. Podpůrné výpočty jsou provedeny pomocí softwaru Maple.

Attitudes toward state graduation 2013

The aim of this work is to find out the attitudes to the state graduation. The paper reacts to recent changes - The amendments to the Education Act (with effect from 1st January 2013) and the Decree on detailed conditions for termination of education in the secondary schools with state graduation (with effect from 9th November 2012). The theoretical part focuses on the current exploring the phenomenon of the state graduation, provides an analysis of the management, the changes of its logistic model for 2013 and the direct impact on the management and the teaching staff of the secondary school. The aim of the practical part of the work is to analyze the attitudes of teachers who practically come into contact with the phenomenon of the state level. A questionnaire survey was used as the scientific method. The work contributes to the knowledge of both theory and practice of the state graduation exam mainly from the perspective of secondary (headmasters and their deputies) and lower management (secondary school teachers acquiring function of the evaluators, authorities, school graduation commissioners and chairmen of the graduation committees). Logistic Regression in Managerial Decision Making

This thesis with title "Logistic Regression in the Managerial Decision-making" aims to introduce this statistical tool, clearly explain its general principles and assumptions and then provide examples of potential applications in various fields. The practical part of the work will demonstrate application of logistic regression on real data dealing with the demand for semestral stays abroad. There will be mapped usage of logistic regression from data collecting to final interpretation and recommendations for managerial decision-making support.
