Dvorská, Kateřina ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Křížková, Štěpánka (referee)
v Abstract Author: Kateřina Dvorská Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient after stroke with left-sided hemiparesis Objective: Acquisition and processing of theoretical knowledge about stroke. Further development of a case study of a patient after stroke with left-sided hemiparesis, including own examination, subsequent therapy proposal, and its practical implementation. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - general and special. The general part offers the theoretical description of the disease, its examination, and selected physiotherapeutic procedures. Information provided for this part was retrieved from textbooks, studies, and scientific literature. Special part includes a case study of a patient after stroke with left-sided hemiparesis, which contains medical history, initial kinesiological analysis, ten therapeutic units, and a final kinesiological analysis. To conclude the special part, there is an evaluation of the therapy's effectiveness, a discussion comparing the methods used in therapy and their results with information from relevant research articles. Results: During the therapy, gradual improvement in the patient's condition was observed. Thanks to the progress in mobility of the left upper and lower extremities, there were significant improvements in...

Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after ischemic stroke Aims: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the disease of stroke in the theoretical part and in the practical part to elaborate a case report of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The processed case report consists of anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term therapeutic plan, daily therapy record of ten therapeutic units, final kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Results: The evaluation of the effect of therapy shows that there has been a significant improvement or overall elimination of most of the patient's functional and motor deficits. Keywords: Stroke, ischemic stroke, left hemiparesis, rehabilitation, physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after ischemic stroke

Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with left-sided hemiparesis. Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to summarize a theoretical information about stroke and to process the case report of the pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with left - sided hemiparesis. Summary: The bachelor thesis is about hemorrhagic stroke and contains two parts. The theoretical part deals with the informations about stroke. The second special part is about a case study of the physiotherapy care of the pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with left - sided hemiparesis, which I worked with during the clinical practise in Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady in the term from 24.1.2022 to 3.2. 2022. Keywords: Stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, left-sided hemiparesis, rehabilitation after the hemorrhagic stroke, physiotherapy procedures and methods.
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after hemorrhagic stroke resulting left-sided hemiparesis
Kalousek, Filip ; Heřmánková, Barbora (advisor) ; Vomáčková, Helena (referee)
Title: A case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after hemorrhagic stroke resulting in left-sided hemiparesis Objective: To analyze and compile theoretical information regarding intrarcranial hemorrhaging, to clarify the etiology of this disease and different forms of manifestation in the clinical environment. To demonstrate my skills within the range of knowledge acquired during the bachelor's study of physiotherapy, which includes: the ability to communicate with the patient, patient examination, and put together a therapeutic plan based on that examination that will be practically applied during therapeutic intervention. Method: This work consists of two main parts. General part and practical part. The general part contains the etiology and theoretical knowledge related to the issue of intracranial hemorrhage, describes the anatomical structures of the vascular supply to the brain, possible variants and stages of this disease, clinical symptoms and related complications. Last but not least, it deals with possible therapeutic approaches that can be applied to a patient with this disability. The practical part deals with the case report of a long-term hospitalized patient after a hemorrhagic stroke resulting in left-sided hemiparesis, with whom I have worked in the hospital in Brandýs...

In general part are shown basic informations from anathomic field, etipatogenesis, epidemiology and clinical pictures of paciants after stroke. Then it refers to risk factors connected with this disease and possible prevention. General part is supposed to be theoretical background for specialized part of this thesis. The second part of this thesis pursues processing of the case study of rehabilitation care of pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with sinistral hemiparesis. During physiotherapeutic care were used only non-invasive therapeutic methods learned on UK FTVS. Whole therapy was performered under supervision of experienced supervisor Mgr. Helena Voráčková. At the end of this thesis is evaluated therapeutic efect of used methods as a whole. Keywords: stroke, rehabilitation, hemorrhagic stroke,...
