Methodological framework for European regulation of (artificial) intelligence and its limits

in English language - Methodological framework for European regulation of (artificial) intelligence and its limits This paper first asses three different approaches to the human condition and arrives at the conclusion that it is exceedingly difficult to presicelly qualify the criteria what makes a natural born human, or a legal entity, a Person in legal sense, apart from the fact we have a strong intuition for it, whereas that intuition is lacking for AI systems. The paper proceeds to establish a definition for AI system for the regulator, one that is practical and functional. One of the key aspects that was identified was the ability of decision-making of artificial systems in any form is the driving force behind the need for regulation. Further more the paper briefly analyses series of documents from various stakeholders that propose their own priorities regarding AI regulation. Furthermore priorities and values laid out in Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI by AI HLEG were highlighted as they are most relevant for the future regulation. Public and private aspects of business

This bachelor thesis addresses selected public and private aspects of business as a per-son who does business has to deal with them in everyday life. The individual actions are arranged as they would follow each other in a real situation, from the establishment to termination of business. Liabilities to state institutions can be identified as public law aspects. These are, for example, obligations towards the tax office, the la-bour office and the social security office. Private law aspects include the choice of form of business and the creation of internal company directives. The thesis is based on an analytical examination of the legal framework of the Czech Republic enabling business activities. The practical part contains summary of activities discussed in in previous chapters. Further points out the current state of modernization of the business environment and describes the functioning of the PES system. In the last part analyses studies Doing Business in the European Union 2018 which examines regulation of domestic compa-nies in 25 cities in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Slovakia with another 186 economies and also Bureaucracy index research made in 2020.

The objective of this report is to establish a European baseline of policies in place to combat Gender-Based Violence (GBV) at the legal, policy level and the level of research funding organisations (RFO), as a fixed point of reference for future comparisons, by assessing existing laws and policies at the national and RFO levels in 27 countries in the EU. This is accompanied by analyses of four Associated Countries (Iceland, Serbia, Turkey, UK) and two Third Countries (Canada, USA) that were selected for comparison and as examples of existing practices. The analysis focuses specifically on dedicated legal and policy frameworks focused specifically on universities and research organisations, in order to map the special efforts made by national and regional authorities and RFOs to combat GBV at these specific institutions beyond generic anti-discrimination legislation and labour law protections.\n
Trends in legislations of online publications legal deposit in European countries

Purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze current legislative documents on legal deposit of online publications of selected European countries (Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, United Kingdom and Spain) through translation and interpretation of parts concerning definitions of terms, subject and acquisition of legal deposit of online publications and its access to users. Based on these translations and interpretations then compare them between each other and also in context of the UNESCO Guidelines for Legal Deposit Legislation. In the end of the thesis present recommendations for new Czech republic legislation.

The legal framework in remuneration of the employees in Czech republic Abstract The rigorosum thesis deals with the topic of legal framework in remuneration of the employees in Czech Republic. The legislation frame is built with the Act No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labor code, as amended and Act No. 234/2014 Coll., on Civil Service, as amended, and their executive acts. In the dependent work remuneration plays an unmistakable role of great importance. This thesis aims to describe and analyze legal institutes concerning the remuneration of employees in the general legal level. The thesis is divided into six chapters. Chapter one is focused on the definition of general terms such as payment, salary and wage for employment agreement and the distinction between them. Chapter two summarizes the overview and the analysis of sources of law, starting from the international level, through the European Union sources, to the internal law. The common motives that intersect with this whole theme are general and common provisions, the functions of payment and the principles of remuneration (the principle of non- discrimination, fair remuneration, contractual principle and equal pay). Collectivization in the village Nemetice in 1950-1960

(in English): The basis of the text is focusing on the explanation of the topic of the collectivization of Czech country on the example of the South Bohemian village Nemetice between years 1950- 1960, with the use of micro-historical probe to the life of the village. The introduction of the work is dealing with the presentation of the context of the region of Ceske Budejovice and the district of Strakonice, and characteristic of the village in the time before the beginning of the collectivization, from the political, religional and socio-economic point of view. Emphasis is put on the specifics which distinguished Nemetice from common village of the similar size. The main part of the text is focused on the events of statewide scale in the connection with the events in the village, the legal framework of the prepared collectivization, and the description of founding and running the collective farming (JZD) in the village. The aim of this part is to describe the methods which were supposed to suppress the resistance against the collectivization and force the farmers to joining the Common Agricultural Cooperative. Nowadays, employee benefit system is almost a must for all big companies. It is closely related with such areas as employee motivation and stimulation which are explained in details in the first chapter of the thesis. The following chapter is focused on employee benefits themselves taking into consideration legal and tax framework. After the theoretical introduction into the employee benefit problematic and related areas there is a case study of company Linde Gas a.s. The case study includes general overview about the company followed by the analysis of current employee benefit system. Final chapter suggests possible improvements for the employee benefit system of Linde Gas a.s.

Bachelor thesis Current stage of the process of enlargement of the Economic and Monetary Union consists of seven chapters. The theoretical part describes the history, legal framework and institution of the Economy and Monetary Union. The second part deals with practical results of the Economy and Monetary Union. It analyses the economic impacts of common currency and enlargement of eurozone that have already been realized and also those that are going to happen in the near future. The heart of the thesis is the characteristic of current situation in the Czech Republic relevant to expected integration to the Economy and Monetary Union. Unethical Means of Collecting Information about Consumers

This thesis focuses on defining some unethical practices used in marketing. Direct marketing based on property and creation of databases including information about consumers, is one of the issues, which evoke speculations about ethical standards. These speculations are mainly about the creation of databases, their data sources and practices, among others telemarketing. Unsolicited commercial communications and spam as the phenomenons of modern society are also considered unethical. It is necessary to distinguish the above mentioned from authorised business communication and also define the terms of opt-in and opt-out mode. Transferring the personal data between companies is often used in practice, profiting from carelessness or ignorance of consumers. This thesis also describes a basic overview of the legal framework.
