Typology of Nature Parks in the Czech Republic

Typology of Nature Parks in the Czech Republic Nature parks cover about one tenth of the Czech Republic. They are classified under general protection of nature and landscape in the nature and landscape system of our state and primarily serve to protect the landscape character with significant aesthetic, natural and cultural values. Nature parks are currently set up by a law regulation by regional authorities. This thesis provides comprehensive information about all nature parks in the Czech Republic, describes their history and their present form. The thesis deals with the research of landscape protection and landscape character. The main result of the thesis is the creation of a typology of natural parks of the Czech Republic, rated by their landscape coverage and selected natural conditions - altitude, typological division of the relief, climatic conditions and height vegetation levels. Impacts of tourism in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area

This thesis deals with tourism and impacts of tourism on the geographic environment. The main purpose is detection of impacts of tourism character, their concentration and intensity in protected area. In this research, author chose the region of the Křivoklatsko protected landscape area. Other aspect this thesis is detection of attandance evolution in confrontation with the proposed Křivoklátsko national park. Zvláště chráněná území v České republice a ve světě

The bachelor thesis focuses on specially protected areas in the Czech Republic, the situation in the world is also mentioned. These areas are enshrined in our legislation and they are one of the most important tools for nature and landscape protection. Specially protected areas are set up on natural or aesthetically important localities with remarkable or important biological diversity, with a unique geological structure, characterizing landscape features of cultural landscape and on territories important for scientific research. They are divided into different categories that determine the degree of protection in the announced territory. The aim of the specially protected areas is to safeguard, maintain and improve the extant state of the locality, or left the area its spontaneous evolution.

Posouzení analýzy krajinného rázu ve dvou územích s rozdílnou ochranou přírody a krajiny

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of landscape at two locations. Each one has a different protection of nature and landscape. The first area is part of the natural park called Písecké hory. Second area consists of a cadastral area of Horní Ostrovec, in which part there is declared a natural monument called V Obouch. The practical part contains the characteristics of the landscape, determining of the indicators of natural values presence, cultural and historical characteristics and determination of expression, important and valuable landscape characteristics. Based on these characteristics the differences in monitored areas were evaluated and concrete proposals how to increase the value of the landscape were set out.

Analysis of selected judicial decisions in the field of landscape character

The paper deals with analysis of selected judicial decisions in the field of landscape character and its legal aspects. Special attention has been paid to decisions of Supreme Administrative Court which significantly affect the application of law. Landscape character is subject of litigation quite often, especially because of absence of implementing decree to protect landscape and broad definition of the term in relevant legislation. Analyzed decisions relate mainly to possibility of using expert opinions for landscape character assessment, as well as the absence of implementing decree, evaluation of economics benefits of intentions, statement of nature protection authority in construction proceedings etc.

Identification and conservation of landscape with significant cultural and historical values: landscape conservation area Čimelicko-Rakovicko

The aim of the thesis is to identify cultural and historical values of the landscape conservation area Čimelicko-Rakovicko as well as to assess risks threatening valuable elements of the area with the help of land-use planning documents. The thesis includes also assessment of the area and suggestions for further development of the area and protection of the cultural and historical values of the landscape. In the introduction, the aims of the thesis are presented and hypotheses are established, followed by the description of the model area (location and formation of the landscape conservation area, natural conditions, historical development of the area). The key chapter is devoted to defining various cultural and historical phenomena their description and evaluation with help of landscape planning documents. Afterwards, suggestions for development of the landscape conservation area and protection of its significant features are presented. These suggestions are developed further in proposal of educational (nature) trail. The final part contains analysis of the results and evaluation of the hypotheses. The thesis includes also tables, maps and photographs taken during the field survey.

Processing of survey works in the selected locality as the basis for land consolidation project

The thesis deals with the processing of exploratory work according to valid methodology in the cadastral area of Přídolí. It provides a list of all the information that is needed for further processing of land consolidation. In addition to the basic characteristics of natural and economic conditions in the area, major emphasis is put on the data acquisition and processing in the field of transport system, soil degradation, locations and state of all elements for control of soil erosion and territorial system of ecological stability, water supply conditions and landscape value. The processing of the obtained documents, field survey and territory analysis should be used to optimize the land consolidation process, especially common facilities planning.

Parlament České republiky má podstatným způsobem ztíženu možnost změnit hranice Národního parku Šumava. Nemůže přijmout věcnou novelu nařízení vlády, kterým byl park zřízen. Z toho vyplývá, že po celá desetiletí je řádný zákonodárce v podstatě vyloučen z možnosti zmenšit nebo zvětšit území národního parku prostřednictvím vlastní zákonodárné iniciativy. Aby mohli být poslanci úspěšní, museli by navrhnout a přijmout celý nový zákon o Národním parku Šumava. Jiným méně razantním způsobem není možno do hranic parku zasáhnout. Je jistě náročné pro jednotlivé poslance vypracovat celý nový zákon, čímž je omezeno právo zákonodárné iniciativy poslanců a poslaneckých skupin. Rovněž další subjekty, které mají právo zákonodárné iniciativy, jsou tímto omezením zasaženi (včetně zastupitelstev krajů). Takto je petrifikován dosavadní právní stav, který sice z procesuálního hlediska není možno považovat (ve světle judikatury Ústavního soudu) za protiústavní, nicméně jeho dlouhodobé pokračování už je z hlediska práv jednotlivých subjektů zákonodárné iniciativy i z hlediska práv zákonodárce problematické. Rovněž některé další důvody, zejména aspekty týkající se právního státu, vedou k závěru, že se nařízení vlády, kterým byl zřízen Národní park Šumava, ocitá na samých hranicích konformity s Ústavou České republiky.

At the same time it compares the Czech Republic with foreign countries. It mentions the state of nature and landscape, its history and gradual development up to the present. It deals with the protection of specific species living in our country and focuses on some of the international conventions.
