Leadership in specialists' interpretations and in opinions of Czech internet users

Resume Topic of this thesis is leadership. Its aim is to recapitulate theoretical frame of this subject, and to outline to what extent Czech people (for purposes of this thesis Czech internet users) are familiar with leadership concept in similar way which is presented by authors who write about it. This work is based on ideas of so-called classical management schools, and information about leadership takes not only from books of chosen Czech authors, but also from works of foreign specialists like Peter F. Drucker or John Adair. For theoretical frame are used also some management textbooks like works of Koontz and Weihrich or Vodáček and Vodáčková. My hypothesis and initiative for this work is that for Czech environment leadership still is not much usual concept. There was quantitative survey on sample of Czech population carried out. As the interviewing was done online, it is not possible to present it as fully representative however criterions for choosing respondents corresponded with representative sample of Czech population when considered demographical indicators like gender, age, region or size of residence. Competency framework for head teachers - harmony in opinion of primary school head teachers and their founders

The diploma thesis with the competency framework for head teachers, aims to examine and describe which partial competencies and spheres of competencies are important for primary school head teachers, and whether the founders of the schools are familiar with their opinions. The study is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The first chapter of the thesis deals with competencies, illuminates development of the term's usage in the Czech environment, and delineates the two primary levels of the concept - competency as an authority and competency as a set of knowledge, skills, experience etc. The second chapter explores competencies of the founders and their relationship with primary school head teachers. In this case, founders are represented by public authorities such as communities, community unions, or city districts. This chapter clarifies the concept of competency as a formal power/authority to make a decision and take responsibility in specific cases. The third chapter deals with competencies of primary school head teachers on both of the aforementioned levels. The chapter also presents the Czech competency framework for head teachers and compares it to its foreign equivalents. Cultural Heritage as one of the Factors in the Development Community and the Region

The theme of this thesis is a cultural heritage and its role in developing communities and regions. The theoretical part focuses on defining the basic concepts that are the subject of cultural heritage linked. Specifically, it discusses the situation in the cities of Pardubice and Pardubice region. After the initial presentation of the basic assumptions relating to the concepts of cultural heritage, Regional development, followed by a section devoted to the particular characteristics of the cultural-historical development and specific places in the Pardubice region. The last of the four major part is devoted to the results of quantitative and qualitative research survey, effected to collect a sufficient amount of current information. In the course held surveys among mapping opinions on the topic of cultural heritage among the local population and took place several tens of structured, unstructured and semi-structured interviews with representatives of information centers, local authorities and ordinary citizens.
