Elements of Don bosko's preventive system at the Salesian centre

This thesis deals with the elements of Don Bosco's preventive system and the ways in which they are applied by employees in a particular Salesian center. The first part of this thesis deals with the education of Don Bosco and the historical development of the activities of the Salesians up to the present time. In next part the Salesians center in Pilsen is presented and the questions and aim of the research survey is clarified. In the practical part, the analysis of the interviews with the staff of the center takes place on the basis of predetermined questions concerning the pillar of religion of Don Bosco's preventive system.
HUMAN RELATIONS IN THE WORKPLACE

The subject of my bachelor thesis is: Human relations on a workplace. The objective of my bachelor thesis consists in the survey and analysis of human relations on a workplace from the viewpoint of: sex of the employees, age of the employees and the company size. The objective consists also in the search and definiting the factors that contribute to the satisfaction of the employees in the human relations. The survey is affected by the help of qualitative access. I used the method of semi-structured interview. Eleven employees took part in this research. I chose the respondents so that the employees represented from the viewpoint: different age, sex and company location. The interviews were recorded on the dictaphone. After that I accompliced the interviews transcription. The analysis of the data followed. On the basis of this analysis I took this views: The importan factors that influence the human relations on o workplace are: conditions of organization, solving of space and function on the workplace, presence of the close person on a workplace, composition of the collective from the viewpoint of the sex, change of employee position, leading style, conflicts, manifestation of appreciation, partnership and matrimonial relations on a workplace. The most importan factors that influence the human relations on o workplace are: way of solving the problebms, communication, personality, charakter, liking, superior personality and conflict persons. The recommendation: The company should devote higher attention to leader choice for their employees. The general satisfaction with humen relations introduced four respondents.
Forced migration from Chechnya in a time of Chechen wars

This master thesis deals with a study of forced migration from the Chechen republic during Chechen wars in 1996-2002. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the study of migration strategies of refugees from Chechnya. This qualitative study attempts to grasp the complexity of forced migration process and to depict it from the perspective of refugees. It explores motives and strategies of mobility of the Chechen refugees now living in Russia and Austria and of those refugees, who have returned to Chechnya after the war was over. The impact of this armed conflict on population mobility was examined with a qualitative research of sixteen refugees, who had left Chechnya because of the war. The results of the research show the link between refugee's age and likelihood of return, differences in decision-making of Chechen and Russian refugees, and the strong influence of the social networks on the decision-making and after arrival at destination. Approaches of healthcare professionals toward the ethical aspects of extremely preterm infants' treatment

This diploma thesis deals with the attitudes of neonatologists and nurses to the ethical aspects of the treatment of extremely immature infants. The aim was to capture and interpret the attitudes of health professionals to the ethical issues of intensive neonatal care and their role in the decision-making process. The data were gathered through qualitative methodology using semi-structured and informal interviews with five neonatologists and five nurses. Data analysis was performed using open coding and data categorization. The results of the research are presented in individual categorical units by interpreting and retelling the received information. In conclusion, the attitudes of health professionals to selected ethical problems and the roles of individual members of the multidisciplinary team in decision-making about treatment procedures are discussed separately. The evaluation of results leads to the formulated recommendations for practice, which include several proposed solutions to the interpersonal problems associated with ethical issues of care for immature infants. PhDr. Miloš Kučera, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The dissertation thesis presents the results of ethnographic research conducted between 2005 and 2012. The theoretical part provides an analysis of the cognitive process and looks for causes of prejudiced thinking. The practical part presents a number of topical articles with the intention to present the issues relating to the education of Roma in the Czech Republic from different perspectives. The first article deals with the Czech legislation and with the position of the Czech government. The rest of the practical part is divided into two sections - the first section presents two sets of outputs from researches conducted in an urban Roma community. The first article titled Eliška analyses the identity of a representative of the local community; the other, titled Romanka, describes the transfer of a Roma girl from elementary school to practical school. The second section contains chapters presenting field research in excluded rural areas. The chapter A weekday in Alfa addresses the issues of emergence of socially excluded locations and relationship between the majority and the minority....
