Computer graphics in leisure education

The thesis deals with the formation of an educational course focusing on vector graphics in the context of leisure activities. The course aims to learn how to use the essential tools and functions in the graphics program Adobe Illustrator. Understand how the vector program and the vector itself work and the uses of vector graphics. The theoretical part introduces the terms leisure, leisure pedagogy, youth, leisure activities, art education, vector graphics, colors, and formats. The practical part focuses on the course, where participants learn to create in a vector program during three sessions.
Outdoor activity and sports courses at secondary schools in the Příbram region

Title: Outdoor activity and sports courses at secondary schools in the Příbram region. Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis was to map the offer of outdoor activities and sports courses at secondary schools in the Příbram region. Methods: The research group consisted of 11 state secondary schools located in the Příbram district. For this research, we chose the method of a questionnaire, which was sent to secondary school principals via electronic communication. Some schools were visited personally. The questionnaire consisted of 21 questions. The obtained data were evaluated using basic statistical methods and interpreted using graphs. Results: All of the interviewed secondary schools organize sports courses for their students in a natural environment. The most frequently organized course is the Adaptation Course, which is organized by all schools approached. The second most frequently organized course is a Ski Course - found in 90.9% of the surveyed schools. Of the courses offered in the questionnaire, 55% of schools answered that students are most interested in the Adaptation Course. In 27% of schools, the greatest interest is in the Boating Course and in 18% in the Skiing Course. Development and education of human resources in a selected sector

The topic of this diploma thesis is the development and education of human resources in a selected industry. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the system of development and education in the selected sector and to propose possible changes that will lead to the improvement of the current situation. This work is divided into two parts. The first part of the diploma thesis is theoretical. This part contains theoretical knowledge, which was drawn from the professional and scienti-fic literature. The theoretical part contains knowledge about systematic education, areas of education, motivation for education, and important methods of education. The second part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state in the selected industry. This section also proposes changes that will improve the current situation. The selected sector concerns the field of banking. Two companies were selected for a more objective assessment of the sector. These companies wanted to remain partially anonymous and were therefore named as company X and company Y. A questionnaire survey was chosen to evaluate the training and development system, and valuable infor-mation was obtained. The questionnaire survey was chosen due to the rapid return and a large number of employees. Both companies have a very well-developed education sys-tem, which they have very similar. Despite all the sophistication of these systems, changes have been proposed for improvement.
Possibilities of educational MOOC courses

The diploma thesis explores the possibilities of MOOC online courses and their implementation for ČSN EN 1591-4 standard. Firstly, Czech and global providers of MOOCs are discussed and compared. There are over 220 million MOOC active users globally. Then, the content of a course regarding the ČSN EN 1591-4 standard is created. This standard defines the necessary knowledge that mechanicians must acquire to install flange joints in critical applications. In the experiment, the importance of lubricating the fastener is pointed out. The outcome of the thesis is ten videos in Czech and in English that cover the courses' content and the experiment. The author entered a discussion with a Dutch Engineering Trainer platform which expressed interest in the ČSN EN 1591-4 course. In the end, the possibilities of course commercialization, fees, and profit are explored. There are several MOOC platforms open to publishing a course. Nevertheless, it is not possible to post the same course on two platforms simultaneously.
Lifelong education of persons with mental disabilities

This thesis deals with the specifics of the lifelong education of persons with mental disabilities. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts. Thesis is mainly based on professional literature, laws and regulations Czech Republic and Internet resources. The first chapter deals with the explaning of the concept of mental retardation, its classification, etiology, and psychological traits of these people. The second chapter describes the system of education people with mental disability in the Czech Republic and activities of special education centers and of early care centers. The next chapter is devoted to lifelong learning, Chapter describes general lifelong learning and lifelong learning of people with mental disability, brief history of lifelong education of persons with mental disabilities in the Czech Republic and didactic principles of education for this group and example of this education are also describe in this chapter. Fourth part deals with empirical research. Research is about learning opportunities of adults with mental disabilities in the regional capital Liberec.
Influence of completion the introductory course in the study of Faculty of physical education and sport students

Title: Influence of completion the introductory course in the study of Faculty of physical education and sport students Objectives: Evaluation of potencional conection between completing voluntary introductory course at Máchovo jezero and study succes of Faculty of physical education and sport of Charles University in Prague students. Definiton of connection words succes and studying, and provision of recommendation for board of faculty based on gained informations, if there is connection between course between course and studying and how to edit course to be more effective. Methods: Main research methods in this thesis are used kvantify questionnaire and in-depth interview with main organizer of event. Research file is made by students, who were hired for studying at faculty in years 2014-2018, beacuse examined course took same place and activites during these years. Gained informations were examined by descriptive, factor and correlation analysis. Results: Based on description of event were determined goals of course., which were based on descriptive analysis achieved. Stack of outdoor games for teambuilding events

Title: Stack of outdoor games for cooperation development Goals: The goal of this work is create stack of outdoor games for teambuilding events and tourist courses of universities for immediate use. Methods: Based on the literature search and personal experience, the criteria for selecting games were determined and processed into a well-arranged stack. Individual games were created on the basis of the following criteria: selection of games focused primarily on team cooperation and development of group processes (communication, team management), environment (outdoor, nature), number of players (5-10), time consuming of the game itself (10-20 minutes). Results: Creating a stack of ten different types of games aimed at developing teams useful for teambuilding events. The result is a presentation and specification of games and activities suitable for this type of events. Conclusion: The contribution of this work is a stack of games usable especially for instructors and organizers of teambuilding and other events focused on team development. Quantum GIS

This thesis deals with open-source software QGIS.It is a free and multiplatform geographical information system (GIS) which is distributed under the general public license (GNU). In the framework of this thesis, a teaching course was created, various types of analyses that the system allows. A set of model exercises is intended to represent a integrated course in the Quantum GIS, which will enable the user to become acquainted with this SW and will be useful in teaching, but also in the practice of public administration, especially in regional development. For this reason, the author realized a survey in the municipalities of the South Bohemian Region concerning the introduction of GIS, awareness of QGIS software, possible interest in the course and topics which the municipalities would like to dedicate to. The requirements of the municipalities have been implemented into individual exercises. The course is available in e-learning in the Moodle system on the link: https://moodle.ef.jcu.cz/course/view.php?id=2683, but also in the form of a comprehensive document which is annexed to this work.

The goal of this thesis is to find out whether it is possible to invest in sports betting odds market without any previous knowledge about sport, using only mathematical skills and business intelligence tools.
Reporting of financial derivate in accounting and its use in a financial deciding

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of financial derivatives, their reporting, classification, accounting point of view and use on the example of a particular entity. The theoretical part summarizes the general theoretical knowledge about the given issue. The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate possibilities of using financial derivatives from the accounting and financial perspective of company named Schäfer Sudex s.r.o. This enterprise produces food containers made of stainless steel. The analysis of receivables and payables shows that the enterprise should ensure against the possible decline in value of foreign receivables as result of exchange rate variability. This thesis presents suggestions for securing receivables. Based on results, recommended solutions were created. Company should secure value of their receivables by using forward. Based at conservative exchange rate development, profit would be 4 mil CZK. But at aggressive change, earnings would exceed 18,7 mil CZK.
