The economic and cultural development of the township of Lhenice in the 19th century

The diploma thesis "The Economic and Cultural Development of the Township of Lhenice in the 19th Century" examines the transformation of life in the township of Lhenice during the so-called long 19th century, a period marked by the beginning of modernity, the industrial revolution, urbanization, the rise of nation states, nationalism and the struggle for national identity, and the ongoing National Revival in the Czech lands. The analysis focuses on key aspects of economic changes, such as changes in agriculture, the development of crafts and industry, and the decline of the market system, as well as on cultural changes, such as the emergence of organised social life or the background to public festivals or other celebrations. The study reveals how the local economy responded to economic development and its challenges and technological advances, how the local community dealt with the gradual institutionalization of poverty and the poverty question in general, and how the whole society was affected by the broader socio-political changes in the Austrian monarchy and the Czech lands. Minor church architecture in rural development

The thesis focuses on research of minor church objects located in Neveklovsko. Theoretical part of thesis includes the definition of basic concepts, functions and types of minor church architecture. This part also describes the legal aspects, technological aspects and economic aspects related to the minor church architecture. In research part of thesis, there was realized field research in cadastral area of the town Neveklov, in which the minor church objects were examined, and also their condition was evaluated. This part of thesis contains information about financing of care for minor church objects in surveyed area. The conclusion of thesis contains the recommendation to owners about acquire funds to finance care of minor church objects. Attachment contains a description of all objects in Neveklovsko, marking on maps and photo documentation.
European Capital of Culture project and its influence on tourism development in Pilsen and Pilsner region

The bachelor thesis focuses on European Capital of Culture (EcoC) project and its extent of influence on tourism development in Pilsen and Pilsner region. The first chapter looks into the ECoC project. The second chapter focuses on the application for ECoC project that Pilsen sent in 2010, cultural program in Pilsen in 2015, volunteering program and mobile application invented exclusively for Pilsen EcoC 2015. The third chapter studies the extent of success and the turnout in Pilsen and Pilsner region and the changes in numbers of visitors in 2012-2015. The last chapter covers personal evaluation of parts of the project and personal evaluation of the program in 2015. The obtained results lead to certain conclusions and outlines of possible development of culture and development of tourism in Pilsen and Pilsner region.
Koncepce rozvoje územního plánu a komunikační strategie města Otrokovic z hlediska uplatnění jednotlivých složek ekonomického a kulturního rozvoje města

The aim of this bachelor thesis is an analysis and assessment of the current communication strategy of the town of Otrokovice in the view of economic and cultural development. Another aim of the work is the assessment of a particular solution, its impact on economic and cultural development and expressing suggestions to supplement the strategy. The description and assessment of the importance of land-use planning as a part of the development of the town is included in the first part. The second part contains characteristics of particular components of economic and cultural development of the town. The analysis and assessment of the particular solution as a part of the municipal plan are included in the third part. Characteristics of potential future development and additional suggestions to the strategy are included in the last, fourth part.
