Younger Junior Woman's Movement Output in Handball with Selected Team SCM
Kastnerová, Eva ; Tůma, Martin (advisor) ; Velenský, Michael (referee)
Title: Younger Junior Women's Movement Output in Handball with a Selected Team SCM. Objectives : The Aim of the thesis is a result analysis of SCM member's compulsory testing of movement output in handball together with considering the effectivity of the load. Methods: We used methods of analysis and comparison in our work. The method of analysis was applied when analysing each of the disciplines, and the method of comparison was used in the part where we compared the disciplines of the testing set, and in the part where we compared the members. The comparison was also applied in the part where average values needed to be compared. Results: We have found out that the influence of the training did not cause expected rise of physical condition. We have concluded from the results of the training set. During the two-year cycle in which we monitored the amount of load of the training unit the physical condition fell. Keywords: movement abilities, condition, junior age, diagnosis in handball, testing unit.
Readiness to start active work in competitive tennis
Neuvirth, Petr ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (referee)
Titel: Preparation for beginning to be active in professional tennis Goals: Goal of my work is to analyze general preparation for children to start actively in performance tennis, are conditioning, technique, tactics, and physiological preparation. Method: For being successful of the assigned tasks, we used diagnostic methods and processed the following analysis of their data in fitness, technique training, tactics, and physiological preparation. Results: They compare general preparations of baby tennis players and show diagnostics while working with children. Key words: Tennis, babytennis, condition, technique, tactics, mentally.
Testing and comparing physical abilities in the performance categories of U - 13
Kulatka, Tomáš ; Buzek, Mario (advisor) ; Tůma, Martin (referee)
Title: Testing and comparing physical abilities in performance categories U13 Objectives: The main goal of the work is the selected tests of physical ability, to determine their level then compare the results between the three different performance categories U13. Methods: The work is conducted as a quantitative research, empirical-theoretical study, where all of the data collection was done through testing. The measured data will be compared and evaluated by selected statistical methods. Results The result of our study is the finding that in tests of physical abilities is between different competition categories are found statistically significant differences in the performance. Key words: testing, motor skills, football, fitness
Surviving of Northern Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) chicks in agriculture landscape
Kubelka, Vojtěch ; Šálek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Cepák, Jaroslav (referee)
The variability of egg-size within a bird species reflects different reproductive investments and, besides the intrinsic constraints and particular female quality, it can be affected by environmental factors, too. Moreover, the egg-size predetermines the chick performance. The knowledge of factors influencing precocial chick survival is crucial for better understanding of life-history strategies as well as for endangered species conservation. The Northern Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) represents a suitable model species for investigation of climate variables effects on egg-size and also to study factors influencing chick survival. Eggs in a total of 714 nests were measured during 13 breeding seasons over period 1988-2014 in South Bohemia and 293 lapwing chicks from 100 broods in 37 localities were monitored in 2013-2014. The mean egg-size through the whole season is positively affected by March precipitation, March clutches also negatively by minus temperatures in March. The higher intensity of rainfall there is during March, the bigger eggs are laid in March and the steeper is slope of decline in mean egg-size during season. This decline is more profound with lower rainfall in April. The effect of habitat is not significant. The body mass and condition of hatchlings is positively correlated with the...
Condition dependence of secondary ornamentation and mate choice in Grey Partridges
Gabrielová, Barbora ; Albrecht, Tomáš (advisor) ; Sedláček, Ondřej (referee)
This study focuses on relationships between individual condition, measures of ornament expression and mate choice in the Grey Partridge (Perdix perdix). It is based on the correlative data as well as results of manipulative experiments. I found positive correlation between the size of melanin- and carotenoid-based ornaments in partridges. The size and the redness of the carotenoid skin patch, and the size of the melanin-based feather ornamentation were associated with several measures of immunity and overall body condition (complement activity, ratio of immature erythrocytes, heterophil/leucocyte ratio, response to novel antigen). Furthermore, data from natural populations indicate that the expression of carotenoid-based ornamentation is associated with sexual attractiveness (measured as the ability to obtain a social mate) in partridges. Data from captive individuals indicate that carotenoid supplementation improves the redness of carotenoid-based ornament, while the stimulation of the immune system under increasing concentrations of supplemented carotenoids has no measurable effect on condition and physiological state. This seems to contradict predictions of the 'Carotenoid maintenance hypothesis'. Overall, results better understanding the role of carotenoid and melanin-based ornamentation in signaling...
The Development of Tonic Abilites of Senior - Pupils in Volleyball
Milfaitová, Yvetta ; Buchtel, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vorálek, Rostislav (referee)
Diploma Thesis Title: The Development of the Tonic Abilities of Senior-Pupils in Volleyball Goals of Thesis: This work is focusing on the raising of the tonic abilities level of senior-pupils in volleyball, by the support of the selected training program. I am trying to verify the effectiveness of the created training program for the development of these abilities. Method: To determine the effect of the created training program for the development of the tonic abilities, we used the method of testing. The testing was performed mainly by using the test-file for SCM and KCM, used to test the level of motor abilities of pupils, held once a year during the "Memorial of R. Myslik". Results: Results and conclusions of the work could be used in the training process for volleyball youth, especially to developing fitness assumptions, which are an integral part of the gaming achievement of the individual. Key words: Measurement, testing, motor level, training, fitness, jump
Load analysis of golf players
Kunčická, Zlata ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Load analysis of golf players Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine the load intensity of golf players, the comparison between players of different levels and determine the health benefits of the game. Methods: The theoretical part was processed thorough a study of scientific literature. Data were measured by sport-tester Garmin, which were then processed in the Garmin Connect and in Microsoft Excel. Was determined by calculating the maximum heart rate of the individual player and the results were compared qualitatively and quantitatively with the scientific literature. Results: Golf is a light to moderate aktivity of load amounting 62% of the maximum heart rate of the individual. Golf in conjunction with the movement on the field can have a positive effect on humans and prevent lifestyle diseases associated with hyperkinesis. During one eighteen-round of golf player conquers average of 10.5 km and reforge as 70% of the official length of the course. Professional players spend more time reading the terrain and planning launch, so they are moving more. Keywords: golf, heart beat, health, condition, golf field
