Physical Quantities Measurement of the Rotating Parts
Štorek, Pavel ; Malenovský, Eduard (referee) ; Pozdník, Jaroslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This work is dedicated to small distance contact-less measurement. Especially the surface detection of the commutator or collector of the electrical machines was described. The probes utilising the induction principle of the distance measurement have been developed. The part of the work described the history of the induction distances sensing in FEEC BUT and the using of the induction principle in the industry small distances sensing nowadays. The paper concretely determines the possibilities of the small distances measurement using mentioned probes. The sensitivity for different materials was investigated and the error of the measurement for different measuring object was investigated, too. The effects, that could affected the measurement error, were described in the work. The contribution of the each effect for the total measuring error was specified. Next part is including the description of the measuring workstation and of the hardware and software. At the end the verification of the measuring principle and measuring workstation is presented. The verification has been made on three different commutator types. The verification results are in the conclusion.

Utilization of SolidWorks at power electrical engineering
Fazekas, Tamás ; Mikulčík, Aleš (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
The purpose of the bachelor thesis was to became familiar with parametric CAD systems and create a simple model in high power electronics branch. The first part of the project summarizes the most known CAD systems. The second part deals with a specifics software:SolidWorks 2008. Finally, a simple model has been created in Solidworks 2008 from the power electronics branch. It is a model of an electric machine which is suitable for the research of the sliding contact.
Properties of whiper motor
Kůta, Aleš ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Nowadays a need of numerical computations of different tasks in the area of electrical engeneering is still rising. Common denominator of great demands given on a constructor and ecomonization of manifacturing is a requirement of efficiency. It´s necessary to use a characterictics of construction, own fundamentals and unique attributes of product. Application of Finite Element Method is possible solution which accombines abilities and knowledge of user in consecutive to complexity of computatio. This enables a use of the most optimal solution. This thesis describes a principals of Direct-Current motor and its´ special design: Direct Inductor motor with extrinsic excitation (permanent magnests). It presents a operation of wiper motor in consecutive to wiping systém and fulfillment of engeneering standards. It also describes a principles of Finite Element Method in context to basics of simulation program FEMM. Main attention is given to creation of concrete model and to simulation of gauged exercise with wiper motor. Also there is a second simulation of motor, focused to different type of stator excitation. Findings of thesis is a comparation of theese exercises. Consecution of modeling in software environment is described. It compiles gauged excercise and interprets them.
Using the Microscope for diagnostics of Structure of Materials and Fault El. Equipment
Cvak, Jan ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to describe the possibility of using a microscope for documentation defects and innovation of electrical machines. I used an electron microscope to document carbon brushes and nanomaterials for possible upgrade of the sliding contact. Use microscopes gives us detailed information about the structure of materials, at the largest stress of the electrical machine. Based on the collected data can be further analyzed and innovation of the carbon brush.
Industrial HD camera interface
Juřica, Libor ; Dvořák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with creating circuit for receiving data from industrial camera. IP Core is designing for FPGA. Theoretical part of the work describes SDI interface, analysis of relevant SMPTE standards and specification of data format. The thesis include general characteristics of multigigabit transceivers. Practical part include VHDL description of SDI receiver. Thesis presents simulations of created circuit, implementation for real application and measurement results for signal transmission over slip ring.
DC Motors Analysis and Innovation
Šimko, František ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis aims to explain the design a prototype of an innovated small engine. It is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused on the analysis of low power DC small engines available on the market. The second part consists of measuring, construction and loss analysis of a DC small engine with permanent magnets. The last part deals with the possible innovations of a small engine with permanent magnets and subsequent implementation of some of them. The innovations are supported by calculations and simulations.
Automotive Electric Motors Analysis and Innovation
Špaček, Ladislav ; Grmela, Petr (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Direct current motors and stepping motors are very often used for electric drives in cars. The most frequent representatives of direct current motors are electric starter and wind- screen wiper motor. Stepping motors are very often used for electric regulating of outsides driving mirrors and seats. This study is focused on innovation and DC permanent magnet motor. The disadvanage of direct current motors is so called „sliding contact“. A possible compensation of direct current motor are EC (electronically commutator) motors that do not need sliding contact for their work.
Sliding contact in electrical machine
Bernard, Ivo ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
The work deals with the sliding contact of electrical machines. The work is focused on individual components of sliding contact and the evaluation qualitative criterions of certain components of sliding contact. In the final section is presented a comparative method that has been designed for large machines. In this work we used this method on a small machine.
