The bachelor’s thesis deals with the influence of wheel rotation on the aerodynamic characteristics of a vehicle. Different methods of modelling of wheel rotation are described. The thesis is focused especially on defining aerodynamic differences between static and rotating wheels and finally on the influence of different rim design on aerodynamics.
