Test bend for vehicle air-conditioning testing
Andrýs, Jan ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work was to design test bend for vehicle air-conditioning. This test bend should simulate interior of the car and the engine compartment. Electric motor is used to drive compressor in test bend. Air supplied to test bend is modified to extreme conditions and the volume of supplied air is the same as the car drove at 50 km/h. Main frame of test bend is made from aluminium profiles manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, which provides great modularity. Walls are made from insulated panels by ELCOM System, they have very good insulation and are strong so additional equipment can be installed inside. Construction design was made is SolidWorks with 3D models of test bend as output. Air-conditong parts which were used as samples are originally from Skoda Octavia II. For this vehicle were made calculations of heat loads. In conclusion is simple testing example for this test bend and although there are some examples for future measuring.
Measurement of Cabin Environment by Means of Thermal Manikin and Test Subjects
Toma, Róbert ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
In this thesis, there is processed design of test procedure for innovative HVAC system. This design was created in consecutive phases with use of thermal manikin Newton and climate chamber. Correlation between data from thermal manikin and tests subjects and possible design changes were evaluated after each phase. There are mentioned basics of human thermoregulation, factors which affect thermal comfort and ways in which is possible to measure and rate it with use of thermal comfort scales and comfort zones diagram. The thesis includes survey for testing thermal comfort and scales which are used to complete it. In the end, we mentioned some results alongside with our approach in evaluation of correlation between thermal manikin and test. There is also final design of test procedure for innovative HVAC system which would be used for its calibration and final functionality testing.
Proposal to drive the fan impeller for ripening chamber
Dvořáček, Ondřej ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with a structural design of proposal to drive the fan impeller with vertical axis of rotation for ripening chamber. The introduction gives a brief description of types, parts and operating principles of air conditioned chambers in meat technology. The second part of this work is focused on the design of belt drive, impeller bearing housing and electric motor layout. Thesis contains fundamental engineering calculations for horizontal and vertical axis positions as well as technical drawings.
