Kubíček, Martin ; Mejstřík, Michal (advisor)
This thesis presents research on corporate credit risk modeling under the New Basel Capital Accord framework using a real data set. This study provides theoretical foundations of credit risk modeling under the New Basel Capital Accord as well as empirical application of credit risk modeling to a unique data set of Czech companies provided by Creditreform. Several alternative logit regression models are presented, statistically tested and compared. Furthermore, two distinct approaches to calibration of rating classes of a rating system are developed and validated. Finally, the minimum regulatory capital requirements under the standardized approach and the internal ratings based approach of the New Basel Capital Accord are calculated and compared to the capital requirements under the current regulation. Calibration parameters of the UAV laser scanning
Dvořák, Dennis ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Dušánek, Petr (referee)
The spatial accuracy of points obtained from aerial laser scanning is most affected by the parameters of the GNSS receiver used, the IMU unit and the parameters of the flight itself. An important role is played by the accuracy of the so-called calibration, ie the determination of the transformation elements between the coordinate systems of the scanning unit itself, the IMU and the position of the phase center of the GNSS antenna. The diploma thesis deals with the calibration accuracy of the IMU / GNSS unit. It compares the displacements and rotations of a point cloud acquired by LiDAR (laser scanner RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV) in relation to the calibration elements given by the manufacturer. Evaluate the results using calculated standard deviations and positional differences in the raw point cloud, or by comparing point clouds obtained by another method. It also focuses on verifying geometric accuracy using checkpoints. The accuracy of the IMU / GNSS calibration is minimal after verifying the results and comparing the influence of the calibration elements given by the manufacturer. There was no significant improvement in the quality of the point cloud. At the same time, it was found that for better quality of the scanned data, it is necessary to perform cross-flights when UAV scanning. Key words UAV,...

Jaroš, Zdeněk ; Sucháček, Tomáš (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The theses focuses on a hydraulic analysis of a water supply network of a village called Ostopovice, located in South Moravia. Theses presents a detailed quasi-dynamic hydraulic simulation of the water supply network based on own consumer field survey. Subsequently, the assembled model was calibrated and verified by hydraulic data measured on the water supply network. The model was made to simulate characteristic water supply system operating conditions. Using the hydraulic analysis results, the theses assesses network pressure conditions with regards to the existing building range and type, taking into the account the extent of expected house development of the area. The work concludes with a proposition for measures leading to the water supply network pressure conditions optimization.
Srovnání smíšeného regresního modelu a geograficky vážené regrese na příkladu výškové funkce
Forró, Martin
The topic of this thesis is to solve spatial heterogenity in forestry models by means of utilizing linear mixed-effects models (LMM) and geographically weighted regression (GWR) to model a height-diameter curve. Both of these methods were previously tested, and they have a high potential to reduce the minimal necessary amount of data needed, and at the same time, increase precision. The data come from VŠLP Křtiny, LÚ Borky, a complex of forests utilized for educational purposes by Mendel’s university in Brno. We choosed beech as the model species. We split the data into training and validation sets for fitting, and consequent prediction assessment. Resulting models were compared with OLS fitted global model. Local OLS models were unreliable, as only a very few measured trees were available for each plot. Results were different for GWR and LMM. GWR models failed at prediction, but had good results on training plots, especially considering the reduction of autocorrelation of model residuals. LMM provided the best results for both training and validation plots

Hodnocení změn při dozrávání a skladování ovoce s využitím metod NIR spektroskopie
Šnurkovič, Petr
The dissertation thesis is focused on investigation of possibilities of usage NIR spectroscopy for nutritional composition of fruit and vegetables evaluation. The basic nutritional components of fruit and vegetables, methods of apples, peaches and tomatoes storage are characterized in the literary section. The history of infrared spectroscopy, present, principles and types of NIR spectroscopy analyses are described in detail. The possibilities of usage of NIR spectroscopy in food industry aimed on fruit and vegetables quality evaluation are also described in the literary section. Changes of fruit and vegetables nutritional composition during ripening are evaluated in the experimental part. Evaluated fruit and vegetables were apples (variety Rubinola), tomatoes (variety Dagmar) and peaches (variety Redhaven). Changes in the total polyphenols content, titratable acids, soluble dry matter, malic acid, ascorbic acid, citric acid, peel firmness and apple flesh firmness were evaluated. Calibration models were prepared from the gained data using the NIR spectroscopy method. The changes of stored fruits nutritional composition were evaluated using the created calibration models. Soluble dry matter, titratable acids, ascorbic acid and flesh firmness of different apple, peach and tomato varieties can be determined fast and exactly according to the data. The accuracy of models for total polyphenols and peel firmness is significantly influenced by the number of calibration standards. The accuracy of models for malic and citric acids is influenced by the concentration of these components in fruits.
Využití NIR spektroskopie ke kontrole kvality potravinářských výrobků
Dvořák, Lukáš
The aim of this thesis was to verify and evaluate the possibility of using NIR spectroscopy usage in food products quality control. The quantitative calibrations were developed to determinate of chemical parameters of sheep, goat and cow milk, honey, coffee and another food and raw materials. Food samples were evaluated by the FT-NIR Antaris spectroscope in a spectral resolution of 10 000 to 4 000 cm-1 with the possibilities of samples measurement in reflectance, transmitance or interactance mode. Calibration models were created by using a Partial Least Square algorithm (PLS) and also the cross-validation was used for the verification of the quality prediction of calibrations. Very good calibration were developed in most cases, and though some were less accurate calibrations are applicable to at least approximate determination of values. The ability of FT-NIR spectroscopy to classify sensed spectrum into predefined classes and thereby determine the differences between groups of samples was verified with a qualitative evaluation of products using with discriminant analysis. A suggestibility verification of the device was realized with cow's milk, which was measured at various temperatures. It was confirmed that the NIR spectroscopy is useful for the chemical composition and food quality evaluation.

Calibration of Surveillance Camera
Pištělák, Radek ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This work aims the issue of calibration of cameras, more precisely surveillance cameras, that monitor Ćat areas such as car parks. The calculation is based on several measurements of the same distance over the entire Ąeld of camera view. From the obtained set of measurements, the properties of the camera are calculated so that it is able to measure distances. With this approach, an error of 1.6 % was achieved, which was calculated by substituting back into annotated and unannotated images in the main experiment. The result of the work is a way to calibrate the camera with a view of large spaces, for which other methods of calibration could be difficult.
