PhDr. Ondřej Hník, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: In her diploma thesis Use of Fables in the 5th Grade of Elementary School the author discusses teaching fables in Literary Education lessons during the last year of Elementary School. In the theoretical part, she briefly describes the features and history of fable and specifies the target age group. The main part of the thesis is the practical part. In the practical part, the author presents her suggestions for fable teaching activities as well as three ninety minute lesson plans. Finally, the author reflects on the realization of the lessons. Fantasy Genre of the Eleven Years old Readers

In her thesis Fantasy Genre of the Eleven Years Old Readers the author is concerned with the education of fantasy category for 11 years old pupils, respectively for the fifth year of the primary school. Centre of work consists in practical part, where the author comments and reflects her suggestions of past lectures based on extracts from fantasy books. She indicates how to interpose fantasy genre to students in literary education, for them to be able to gradually disclose and understand the meaning of the text (process of discovery and creation), share and evaluate important thoughts arising from it and subsequently apply these in real life. Apart from that are some accomplished plans of her lectures, directed also towards personality and social development of the individuals. Physical activity of eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki

Title: Physical activity of eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki Objectives: The aim of this work is based on the questionnaire survey and shall describe and evaluate the current state of physical activity of eleven year old pupils in Prague and Helsinki. Following the results of the work, proposals for improvement of the current situation will be created. These can be used by either organizations and institutions that are engaged in support of physical activity or have it directly in the job description, or the general public. Methods: Primary and secondary data sources were used for this research of the physical activity of the eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki. To obtain the primary data, it was necessary to make a quantitative research using questionnaires among the pupils. The secondary data were obtained from the research of the WHO which in the years 2009/2010, inter alia, examined the status of the physical activity of the eleven-year-old pupils in the world. Other, previously conducted research works and reports related to this issue were used as well. The questionnaire survey was carried out by random selection of primary schools in Prague and Helsinki, using written questionnaires.
