Integrative Approach to Poetry in the Sixth Grade of Lower Secondary School

The presented thesis deals with the integration of the components of Czech Language and Literature, i. e. the integration of Communication and Composition, Language, and Literary Education. Regarding the literary texts, which are the content of Literary Education, the thesis focuses on poetic texts. The aim is to defend the irreplaceability of poetry in human life, and therefore to defend its place in primary and lower secondary education. Based on scholarly literature, the thesis finds the importance of poetry not only in its specific use of language which, when perceived, develops logical thinking about language and provides an aesthetic experience, but also in its ability to stimulate the emotional aspect of personality. Through this stimulation, poetry can help students to reflect on their emotions, to better understand themselves, and ultimately to better understand the world around them. The second aim is to contribute to discussions about the change of CLL teaching which is currently very unintegrated. Application of prepared enviroment principles by Maria Montessori at primary school for children with mild intellectual disabilities

The first part of this thesis introduces basics principles of the Montessori pedagogical system with emphasis on prepared environment. Next part is about examples of prepared environment in professional literature and in the visisted school. The end part deals with application of prepared environment principles in the example of my own pedagogical work in education of children with special needs in education and in self-realisation. Teaching politeness at 2nd grade of elementary school

This diploma thesis deals with the way to teach politeness in elementary schools. Based on the theoretical literature, in the first theoretical part on the background of the Czech language there are defined basic terms such as pragmalinguistics, politeness principle, politeness strategies, face etc. Considering the didactic character of this work, both verbal and nonverbal aspects of politeness are described in the relation to the teacher-student communication. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of how the aspects of politeness are taught in Czech language lessons and included in three contemporary textbook series. Other source studied is the analysis of the relevant survey among teachers. On the basis of the survey results there are made up some activities with presumably good influence on practicing examined aspects of politeness.
Language education in the nursery school

The diploma work considers the positron and importance of language pedagogy in present preschool educational system, follows its impact on the content in separate fields of preschool educational program, language goals deduced from acquired knowledge, types of activities in progress in nursery school. Based on the relationship of deduced goals to different language levels, sets language competence margins to preschool age children as well as methods used for their development. Practical section investigates the level of language education (with respect to language levels) of preschool age children in a ``small-type{\crqq} nursery school class.
