Testing of insulating systems of electrical machines
Procházka, Jan ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis defines basic required properties of insulation systems in rotating electric machines. The following are procedures for their testing and results of conducted tests.
Thermal degradation of insulation materials from the cable industry
Kučera, Filip ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Pelikán, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the properties and parameters of insulation materials of various types (PVC, PE). Measure these properties with a Tettex 2830/2831. Perform a theoretical analysis of the aging of insulating materials and propose a procedure for the formation of thermal degradation. Finally, find out how the properties of insulating materials, electrical strength and mechanical properties change due to thermal degradation.
Insulation system of synchronous and induction motors for 18kV
Šporcr, Viktor ; Vetiška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is divided into two separate sections. First part is concentrated on insulation system of high voltage machines impregnated by vacuum pressure impregnation. This part of semester thesis concisely describes the composition of individual components used for construction insulation systems of air and water cooled rotation machines. Second practical part contains evaluation of dielectric resistance of coil set with insulation system designed for voltage level 18 kV. This part contains a short description of used insulations. Further includes a report of dielectric tests of used coil set. This set of coils was tested on following tests. Heating measurement semi conductive tape with infrared camera at impulse voltage. The coils was exposed to impulse voltage for one 100 hours and sinus voltage for one 1000 hours. Before and between, aging was measured value of charge partial discharges and dissipation factor.
Possibilities of improvement of fire properties of insulation materials based on organic fibers
Urbánek, Tomáš ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This work is focuses on the modification of organic fiber insulating materials in terms of their reaction to fire after installation into the construction. The target is to find a way to improve the reaction to fire and to at least reach the reaction to fire D.
Low-voltage and low-voltage electrical machines insulating systems
Procházka, Jan ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis describes properties of windings of electric rotating machines and their insulation systems. There are winding and insulation low voltage machines tests listed with their procedures and criteria. Further it deals with coordination methodology and the last part contains execution and results assessment of tests conducted on stator samples.
Optimization of measurement system setting for monitoring dielectric properties of liquid insulators
Novák, Lukáš ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Submitted work deals with problems of using LCR meters Agilent in diagnostics of insulating materials and optimization of measurement system settings for monitoring dielectric properties if liquid insulators. From measured physical value and measurement error measurement uncertainty is expressed.
Complete insulation system for high temperature using secondary raw materials
Mészárosová, Lenka ; Ďurica,, Tibor (referee) ; Kolář,, Karel (referee) ; Kulísek, Karel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This work deals with the development of new types of insulating materials for use in the higher temperature. The area of application of these insulation materials is especially industrial chimneys, where the exhaust gases achieves 85 to 200 °C, furthermore it is industrial boilers and furnaces with surface temperature to 500 °C. In the introduction is presented the current knowledge in the field of insulating materials in the Czech Republic and in the world. Then the work is dealing with proposal of possible raw materials and suitable formula. According to purpose of use is the work divided into two parts – high temperature insulation for simple and for complicated shapes conditions. The sub-sections are divided to different possibilities of performance. The aim was, based on the scientific expertise of other authors in the world, design a new insulation system and redound to deepening scientific knowledge in the area of lightweight materials on the silica basis and to the extension of the offer of new products in building and industrial practice.
Heat processing principle of operation thermal resistance annealing.
Špičková, Petra ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The project assigned for the bachelors study program B 2307 analyses the theory of heat processing in general and furthermore resistance annealing with the focus on the technology developed by the company Heatmasters. Examples of processing methods used at other technology providers are presented, inclu-ding documentation and datasheets. Resistance annealing is based on the heat transfer from a resistive wire, which heats up by electrical current. The thermal energy is then transferred to the target material through heat radiation or con-ductance. The resistance heat processing is used both for welding and for an-nealing. Nowadays is the documentation and recording of the heat processing of significant importance. Possibilities exist that allow recording of temperature during the entire cycle of the heat processing and subsequently providing the result evidence in a form of a certificate.
