Rooftop photovoltaic system and its return of investment
Burián, Michal ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Pěcha, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s Thesis is focused on a potency of using the Rooftop photovoltaic system, like the investment project. The general principle of the photovoltaic transformation and eventual utility of a sun solar radiation in Czech Republic is described in the first part of the Thesis. Furthermore there is a overview of approachable technology of the photovoltaic systems. The third part contains a review of inverters and photovoltaic systems integration. Following the complete concept of the Rooftop system and the calculation of capital expenditure for the selected property. Finally, the last part of the Thesis attend to summarize produced aggregate energy, the profit assignment due to service system. The main aim is to evaluate the Rooftop photovoltaic system and its return on the investment due to operating costs.
PV plant performance evaluation and optimization
Špinar, Marek ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The Master´s thesis deals with issues of operational performance of two photovoltaic power plants. In the thesis is stated the history of photovoltaics, description of photovoltaic effect, used materials and production technology of the most used material in PV industry – Silicon. The basic parts and parameters of photovoltaic power plant are described. Thesis also solves, how could be done the first and periodically control due to relevant directives. The ways of diagnostics potentional failures, methods of measuring and the exam of monitoring system are stated. Practice part is focused on measuring and comparing operational performance of FVE Kurdějov and FVE Šakvice II. Operational performance was calculated from exported data for years 2014 and 2015. The thesis also contains measuring of each string connected to inventors, which are installed on the power plant. The result is an identification of strings with decreased operational performance. Based on that was created recommendations for optimalization and increase of the performance. The last part is software for simulation of photovoltaic power plant. This SW calculates potentional energy, which could be produced in a day with available data export. The calculation is defined by parameters, which are assigned.
Class D amplifier designed by using welding invertor
Chmela, Vladimír ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Meaning of my thesis is creating amplifier by using welding inverterin switching class. Thesis offers choices of creation amplifiers in certain class and describe actual process and optimalization used methods. Is comprise experimental involment pulse width modulator for specific controling circuit. Thesis follow up problematic of power exciting for different connections and deals with modern ways of production. Thesis also mention specifications of welding invertor and choices participation power grade.
Adjoint Differential Equations
Kmenta, Karel ; Pindryč, Milan (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with solving differential equations. The aim is find the correct algorithm transforming differential equations of higher order with time variable coefficients to equivalent systems of differential equations of first order. Subsequently verify its functionality for equations containing the involutioin goniometrical functions and finally implement this algorithm. The reason for this transformation is requirement to solve these differential equations by programme TKSL (Taylor Kunovský simulation language).
Utilization of local systems for power system regulation
Kostov, Jiří ; Geschwinder, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s Thesis deals general information about methods of regulation of elektrification systems, including basic principles of regulation of frequency, regulation of voltage and regulation of reactive and active power. Work includes information about aggregate remote control system, power plants that participate on regulation and self device for regulation and controlling of reactive power. Work engages on new options in section of regulation and his requirements for distribution sites. Part of work deals information about renewable natural energy sources and his requirements for distribution sites.
Design of welding machine
Tomášková, Veronika ; Zamazal, Jan (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the development of multifunction welding machine for manual metal arc welding MMA and metal inert/active gas welding MIG/MAG. The goal of this work was to design compactly shaped welding inverter considering ergonomics and technological aspects. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part contains historical progress of arc welding, basic principles of chosen methods and view on contemporary market with welding machines. The second part deals with the development of the design, analysis and options of the final proposal.
Lighting systems in off-grid applications
Lengyel, Ladislav ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
Aim of the master's thesis is at first to explain appropriate light sources and lighting systems; secondly present suitable light sources selection for lighting a small space and design of an off-grid system. The last part consists of an overview about alternative energy transformations to light energy. The first of these three major themes focuses on the analysis of light sources suitable for use in applications with accumulation together with data on energy efficiency and the utilization efficiency associated with them, concentrating on their consumption and possible energy saving lighting within small applications. It ends with a description and calculations of electricity energy indicators for different types of rooms. The second and main part of the thesis is focusing on suitable light sources selection for off-grid systems and impacts on humans and the environment associated with it. An object representing a small application has been created in RELUX® software with suitable light sources installed in it. For this scene, appropriate parts of off-grid systems were selected, which could be used to power the proposed lighting. The last theme consists of a brief about alternative sources, most of which are still in development or existing only at a theoretical level. All of these alternative sources are having a possible application in the future.
Inverter for arc-welding
Vaculík, Josef ; Hejkrlík, Jan (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This bachelor project deals with the explanation of working principle of pulse source used as the source of welding current. It explains the activity of used single acting transmit converter and mention the others examples of converters types. Next there are mentioned powerful constructed parts of source, so input filter, pulse transformer, output inductor and powerful semiconductors components together with necessary parts converter. There are mentioned output current sensor and boards of powerful and directive parts of converter.
System for Imaging of the Monochromatic Pictures in the Pseudo Color
Kaděrka, Petr ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
This diploma thesis treats the possibilities of the black-white picture depiction in pseudo colors (Pseudocolor). The individual methods, software or hardware are described there and the detailed block scheme of the system Pseudocolor is suggested. The block scheme is created on the basis of gained theoretical knowledge. In the thesis, individual functional blocks of the scheme are described and their circuit designs are realized. Some of the functional blocks are simulated by the PSpice program and accompanied by corresponding signal process data. The suitable choice of the active and passive components is performed, from which the general integration of the system Pseudocolor is made. All the source materials for the realization of the device are given there – double-sided drawing of the printed circuit, layout and specification of the components.
Design of hobby welder.
Mahdal, Martin ; Zvonek, Miroslav (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's work is to project a design of a small hobby welder on the inventive way. This concept should strenghten a relationship between a man and a welder. The form of this work should relate to its funcion and also the characteristic form of the device, which is used not only on a professional basis.
