Patent law in Austria and CSR - application at Skoda works till the year 1939

I limited the content of the work to arms production. Overview of patent law development in Bohemia in 19th and a part of 20th century is not narrowed. Protection of patents - inventors protection law was first adapted by law in 1832, second more sophisticated "new prerogative law" in 1852. Invention protection law from 1897 solves the same issues like prerogative law from 1852. Patent protection was valid for 15 years. There was only one central "patent office" for patent protection of all inventions based in Vienna . "Register of patents" made an entry of granting a patent. Patent court was appropriate for reviewing of the decision of the Office. National Assembly adopted patent law from 1897 and in 1919 extended its validity to "the whole area of Czechoslovakia". The law from 1922 added a lot of partial changes and also listing of fees. In 1923 a new regulation was issued which changed the inner organization of the Patent Office and its personnel. In 1924 Patent Office rules of procedure were modernized. Administration of patents in join-stock company, former Škoda Works, foundation and development of the company. Analysis of Competitors Fight in Business Technology Sector

The thesis analyses competitive environment of suppliers of concurrent quality control technology in industrial enterprises and research laboratories. The thesis provides concepts for a creation of competitive advantages and related higher evaluation of costs and diferentiation than competition. Further it compares technologies from various manufacturers, comparing economical and technical parametres. The evaluation of results follows a presentation of approachs to achieve the most efficient competitors fight management. The thesis also include prognosis of future conditions in the business technology sector on Czech and Slovak market and concept of an appropriate format of effective competitive intelligence. In conclusion there is a presentation of a quality and quantity concept evaluation with emphasis on economic gain of presented solution.

Theory of inventive problem solving

This thesis deals with methodology for creating innovative concepts and their solving. More precisely, TIPS methodology „Theory of inventive problem solving“. This thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part, this methodology and its five basic tools are introduced. The second part provides introduction of software Goldfire Inovator including the tools which could be useful for students working on their projects. Third part demonstrates TIPS methodology on the innovation of wind power plant supported by software Goldfire Inovator. The fourth part evaluates advantages and contributions of TIPS methodology for education and practice.

This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are explained key words with reference to the authors and publications that issue. The practical part describes at first the chosen municipalities, followed by the SWOT analysis that capture the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The following is the description of the development potential. The conclusion are set out guidelines for their sustainable development.

Terms of patentability in the law of selected states and in international law

Thesis deals with the patentability of an invention in terms of the law of selected countries and international law. The theoretical part contains a general introduction of patent law, its principles and differences in regulation in selected legal systems. Further analysis is focused on the regulation of conditions of patentability, namely novelty, in European law. The practical part contains an analysis of the decisions of the European Patent Office and the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic in selected areas of assessing the novelty of the invention. On the ground of the previous decisions will be identified the issues which are the most frequent subjects of disputes; will be pointed out the controversial decisions and will be identified the key criteria on the basis of which should be in similar disputes in the future decided.

Possible means of legal protection for computer programs and perspectives of future development

This theses focuses on the possible legal protection of a computer program as well as on the legal nature of computer program as an intangible asset. Both copyright protection (as a standard and worldwide accepted means of protection) and also the other possibilities, i.e. patent protection and protection based on provisions regulating an unfair competition are discussed. Each means of protection is assessed based on its usability in relation with the computer program taking the overall impact on the information technology branch as such into account. Furthermore, this theses involves critical evaluation regarding the capability of traditional model of distribution and protection of computer programs to face the rapid technological development in the digital era. With respect to this fact some alternative models (SaaS, Free Software) are cited and an analysis of their practical applicability and perspectives of the future development is conducted
