The Phenomenon of Addiction to Social Networks

This bachelor's thesis dedicated to the topic of social networks sites (SNS) as the still relatively new social phenomenon and type of communication. It is primarily focused on issues of potential dependence on social networks sites as a specific form of addiction in the context of Internet addiction. Theoretical part discusses of the addiction, using social networks sites, motivation of users and potential risks that are associated with their use, such as loneliness, isolation or physiological problems. It is primarily focused on the social network site Facebook, which is a relatively new social platform, where more and more people spend their leisure time. It examines the place of this platform within social relationships and interpersonal communication. In the empirical part, there is submitted a proposal quantitative research associated with qualitative part, which focuses on any withdrawal symptoms among users of social network who are showing signs of potential abuse. The View of Older School Age Student to Teacher's Personality

The older school age is very considerable in terms of developmental psychology. The pupil's characteristics require an adequate reaction, a specific attitude and a psychological knowledge of the teacher. Pupils have some ideas of the teacher's personality, which may not correspond with the requirements imposed by experts. The presented work defines the factors, that are likely to affect the perspective of the learner of older school age to the personality of the teacher. There are recommendations, how to deal with the undesirable factors and generate or enhance the positive factors as well, so that it would indemnify the necessary positive relationship of the older school age pupil with the teacher.

The key objective of this master's thesis is to elucidate processes that increase the effectiveness of interpersonal communication in company Saint-Gobain Weber Terranova, Inc. The paper is divided into two main sections. The first part provides a theoretical summary. Followed second empirical section which is based on research of actual quality of interpersonal communication in company. The results of a questionary research as the main data-collecting tool will make a headstone for a set of proposals which will result in more effective internal communication in the above-mentioned company.
Internet communication paradigma and its implications for pedagogical communication

Diploma thesis mainly deals with the phenomenon of the Internet in mening of its communication paradigm. It tries to describe and explain the function of Internet communication, to differentiate and describe the basic principles of communication on the Internet, defining the concept of virtuality and finally find a relationship between interpersonal and mediated communication. The larger section will be devoted to pedagogical communication and conclusion of the work will draw the consequences of online communication on communication in education.
