Flip-dot matrix display

This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a control system that complements the existing BS110 flip-dot display panel and enables Ethernet and wireless communication. It first briefly discusses the original use of the display, and gives an overview of the display types. This is followed by an analysis, testing and repair of the BS110 panel, followed by a description of the proposed concept and the development of the control computers and their circuitry. For these, the thesis further describes the design and implementation of the software consisting of a website, database, MCU control script and display circuit control program. Finally, the system so designed and built is demonstrated and evaluated.

This Bachelor thesis is focused on connection design of information board with LED diode matrix and creation of firmware for 8-bit microcontroller from 8051 family, which aim is to control the matrix and communicate with PC over RS232 interface. Marginally there is mentioned the application for PC, which can handle with text imaging and changing data in memory of microcotroller. Within this thesis there was completed and tested the working prototype of this appliance.

Bachelor thesis is about nature trails in The White Carpathians. These nature trails are often used by many tourists. It is necessary to monitor the state of these trails. The most important part is field investigation. Seven nature trails was rate by the state of information boards and waymarking. One of the outputs is comparison of 2008 and 2018. In conclusion there are repair recommendations and own proposals to make the state of nature trails better. The main problem of nature trails in The White Carpathiens is the deterioration in the state of information boards. Information boards lose their meaning because of these damages.

Návrh naučné stezky v Lažánecko-Heroltickém krasu

The aim of this thesis is to design nature trail in Lažánecko - Heroltický karst and by that increase the attractiveness of the area. The theoretical part is devoted to information and rules related to the creation of a nature trail, including specification of problems that may arise in the course of its implementation. Subsequently, nature trails from the surrounding area are analyzed as part of the field survey. In practical part is created design of educational trail that included project documentation, specific location and description of every stop.

Ecotourism and Geotourism in Case of Czech Geoparks Abstract This bachelor thesis explain issues of sustainable tourism with specialization on a potential of ecotourism and geotourism in Czech geoparks. The theoretical part of thesis is dedicated to impact of tourism on the environment and it highlights necessity of friendly tourism. One of the aims of this thesis is focused on methods of interpterpretation of information about geological, cultural and historical heritage. Special attention is given to information panels along nature trails and their contribution to educate wide range of people. The other part deals with activities offered in geoparks and with quality of services for tourists. Methods of promotion interesting things, activities and services are important points of this thesis. In the final part of analytical unit are presented four European geoparks. Their example may be a source of inspiration for development of Czech geoparks. Purpose of the educational trail in a park in Ostrov, "Horažďovice": evaluation, proposals

The thesis deals with educational trails (ET) of various thematic focuses, their purpose and ways of information presentation to visitors through various information panels.
The aim of the thesis was to document an area for a new educational trail in a park in Ostrov in the town Horažďovice. To achieve the goal a sociological research in the town public, employees of educational institutions and municipality was made. Making analyse and evaluation of the place for the educational trail, its madialisation and making an exemplary educational panel was very important.
The thesis suggests several hypothesis: whether town citizens visit educational trails, whether the trail needs an advertisement and if the increased interest has a negative influence in environment of the Ostrov park, whether people accept the educational trail in Ostrov park and if it is convenient for all population groups.
Through the questionaire it was found out that 71% of public visit the trails, 76% of teachers use it as a part of educational process. The public (69%) and the teachers (75%) agree with creating an educational trail in the Ostrov park. Only 11% of public and 19% of teachers know all the ET in the Horažďovice region. The public (78%) and the teachers (89) asked for more information and medialisation of ET. While making a new proposal of the trail and information panel the results of the survey were taken in the account.
Considering the regular upkeeping, facilities, and wheelchair roads, the park was found suitable for people of all ages (families with children, groups of teenagers, seniors, etc.) and disabled people.
