Halašová, R. Impacts of the Euro adoptions on inbound tourism in Lithuania. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university, 2022. The aim of this thesis is research impact on inbound tourism in Lithuania. The first part of this thesis presented the characteristics of inbound tourism and the factors that influence it. The advantages and disadvantages of adopting euro and the effects of euro were also explained. In this part are also describe tourism of Lithuania and that how euro adoption affect development of Lithuania. The aim of this thesis is fulfilled through comparison of selected indicators of tourism in Lithuania and in the control group, benchmark. The control group, benchmark, was created as an arithmetic average of selected countries. After evaluating the criteria for creating benchmark, for benchmark were selected this countries: the Czech republic, Poland and Hungary. The indicators, which are compared between Lithuania and benchmark are the numbers of arrival from euro area members, the total contribution of tourism to GDP, the employment in tourism and the accommodation capacity. Based on the result of the analysis, we can state that the euro adoptions has had the positive effect on inbound tourism in Lithuania.
Ethical aspects of intercultural phenomenon of Czech Republic inbound tourism focused on Russian tourists

1 ABSTRACT This analytical-empiric study presents ethical aspects of the intercultural phenomenon in inbound tourism of Czech Republic focused on Russian tourists mapping topic which hasn't been covered in such a wide scope yet. The multicultural and intercultural definition of the words is described in great depth in the theoretical part of the of this study as the terminology is strongly ambiguous. The special attention is not only paid to the interests and preferences of the tourists but also to the history especially aimed to so-called "Russian soul" and delimitation of the position "we" and "they" and "they" and "we". The data, collected by quantitative and qualitative author's research, complete and penetrate the whole theoretical frame of the study. The research part contains quantitative (24 subjects) and qualitative (2 respondents) research. It detects ethic dilemma and presents the specifics of the Russian tourists in inbound tourism of Czech Republic. We present the result as a substantiated constatation that the category "they" has a lot of prejudice from both sides and it causes unpleasant conflicts which can be prevented when the knowledge of when and how the prejudice was created is in place. Israel: position on the international tourism market

The aim of this diploma thesis is to give an overview of the position of Israel in the international tourism market. In the introductory part, the thesis deals mainly with the theoretical definition of tourism and focuses mainly on the indicators that can assess the potential for tourism development. The second chapter summarizes the basic data on Israel, including the religion, which is absolutely crucial here. In addition to that, this chapter sums up the basic macroeconomic indicators that can describe the Israeli economy. The last chapter lists the specific prerequisites for the development of tourism in Israel, including not only cultural and natural monuments but also transport, accommodation and catering services offered by Israel to its visitors.
The Position of South Korea in Inbound Tourism of Asia and Pacific Region

This diploma thesis analyses the position of South Korea in inbound tourism of macro-region Asia and Pacific. The main purpose is to evaluate the current and future potential of South Korea's inbound tourism and to define the position of South Korea in inbound tourism of the region based on detailed statistical analysis and competitiveness evaluation of South Korea. Firstly, South Korea was analysed from the political and economical perspective and later on the thesis focused on preconditions of tourism and tourist regions folowed by statistical analysis of the inbound tourism indicators. Moreover, the tourist arrivals of Czech citizens to South Korea were analysed. The competitiveness of South Korea was evaluated based on GCI and TTCI indexes. Lastly, the future development of international arrivals to South Korea was predicted based on regression analysis.
The motives of selected travel segments for the visit to the Czech Republic

This Ph.D. thesis is aimed at inbound tourism in the Czech Republic, analysis of statistical data and their development in the period of years 2004 -- 2013, characteristics of the main source markets for the Czech Republic, and analysis of motives regarding participants of outbound tourism to the Czech Republic in the observed countries. The principal aim is to analyze and compare intensity of motives of the selected geographic, demographic, socio-economic, and behavioral segments for visits to the Czech Republic. An integral part of the aim is to suggest further possibilities of the motivation research and their exploitation in the marketing practice of the tourism industry. The author defines all theoretical terms closely connected with the tourism market segmentation, motives and motivations to travel including interesting view of them throughout history. It is evident that the travel motives influenced by various factors are differentiated parallely with the human society development. The author characterizes the Czech Republic destination offer and evaluates its inbound tourism in the period of years 2004 -- 2013 by means of 4 main indicators: number of guests, number of overnight stays, average length of stay, foreign currency incomes. The author also evaluates the researches focused on perception of the Czech Republic abroad that was carried out by the institutions representing the Czech Republic abroad. The detailed analysis of travel motivations was performed by the author herself in the form of questionnaires. Results of these analyses bring impulses to other possibilities of the research in the field of inbound tourism not only in the academic sphere but also in research work of state and public authorities, and in practice when creating tourism products and communications mix.
Analysis of inbound tourism in Austria

Bachelor thesis will focus on the country of Central Europe -- Austria. The topic of this thesis is the analysis of inbound tourism in Austria. The first part will define concepts such as tourism, inbound tourism, GDP, destination etc. and chosen destination will be described. The theoretical part will deal with the influence of tourism on the economy of Austria. The practical part will be devoted to analysis and statistics disclosing the share of tourism on the total Austria GDP and showing the number of overnights stays in Austria and the comparison of the summer and winter season.
Analysis of supply of package tours for seniors

The thesis deals with the inbound senior tourism. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the supply of package tours for seniors in the Czech Republic on the basis of the information recorded by the available resources. The other objective is to collect detailed information about senior tourism and to propose appropriate inbound package tours for seniors in the Czech republic on the basis of collected data. The concepts related to the senior tourism and specifics of the senior tourism are defined in the theoretical part of this thesis. The supply of package tours for seniors in the Czech Republic is analyzed in practical part. Web pages of the Czech inbound tour operators and questionnaires in particular are used to collect data. SWOT analysis is used to evaluate current supply. Examples of good practice from both foreign and Czech travel agencies are also mentioned in this thesis. Tourism Satellite Account methodology in the Czech Republic

The principal objective of the bachelor thesis Tourism Satellite Account methodology in the Czech Republic is to characterize TSA as a new statistical instrument, its methodology used for TSA implementation and the steps applied in the Czech Republic. The main objective in the practical part is to analyse the indicators and the appropriate relevancy during the different phases of the implementation up to 2009. The analysis of the statistical research concerning the data of inbound tourism is also included. The final part of the thesis is concerning the importance of TSA in the Czech Republic and the interpretation of tourism GDP quotient on the national GDP.
