LGBT+ students: What teachers think and do concerning to them

The bachelor thesis focuses on exploring teachers' attitudes towards LGBT+ students and LGBT+ issues within schools. The theoretical section of the thesis establishes fundamental concepts and phenomena related to LGBT+ adolescents, as well as attitudes and prejudices towards LGBT+ students. The primary emphasis is on LGBT+ students and issues in the school environment. The objective of this study is to investigate the attitudes of secondary school teachers towards their LGBT+ students. For the research, a qualitative approach was employed, and data collection was carried out through individual semi-structured interviews, using pre- prepared question set. The interviews involved 5 female and 3 male respondents. The data gathered was then analyzed using thematic analysis, leading to the identification of 13 themes and 20 sub-themes. These findings are visually represented to enhance clarity and to demonstrate potential interrelationships among them. The results of this study eveal the complexity of teachers' attitudes, highlighting the diverse components that contribute to their perception of a singular subject. League of Legends Player Community Toxicity

This thesis describes the toxic behaviour of League of Legends gaming community. It offers definitions of toxic behaviour as a communication-behavioural phenomenon that results from disruptive behaviour. It also describes types of toxic behaviour such as cheating, sabotage, mediocritizing, hostages-holding, and communicative aggression, on which I focused in this thesis. This thesis takes a closer look at hostility towards female and queer gamers and describes phenomena such as toxic geek masculinity or the incel movement. The main aim is to familiarize the reader with the issue and represent the perspective of the victims of this type of behaviour. The perspective is explored in the thesis through qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews. The research sample consisted of six respondents. Three respondents who identify as queer players and three respondents who identify as female. The interviews focused on how they perceive the toxic behaviour of the League of Legends community and how they perceive the game title itself. Amongst other, the analytical part includes the male and female respondents' experiences with hate speech or the strategies they use to cope with this type of toxic behaviour.
Coming Out in the life on a homosexual

This bachelor's thesis deals with the problematics of a coming out in the life of a homosexual. It contains definitions of homosexuality, related concepts and describes possible causes of homosexuality's origin. The thesis maps how was homosexuality perceived in the context of history and continues with the insight of how it is perceived in Czech Republic nowadays. It also contains the definition of coming out, its different types and presents specific problems of a coming out in different phases of life. Furthermore it deals with possible crisis situations that can arise based on a problematic outer coming out and maps the social work's tools that can help with tackling those situations.
Homophobic bullying at school - the perspective of the agressor and the victim

Homophobic bullying at school - the perspective of the agressor and the victim. The goal of this paper was to identify, which factors are relevant in the way of experiencing the homophobic bullying by its protagonists and how they percieve interactions associated with it. Also examined were related questions including among others infuence of homophobic bullying on class norms and the opposite infuence of class norms on homophobic bullying. I am exploring this topic from the point of view of social psychology, educational psychology and gender issue. I specifically look into the issues of class unit and norms that are prevailing iside this unit, followed up by bullying which is a part of homophobic bullying and by homophobia itself.
Homophobia among student groups from the teacher's perspective

This bachelor thesis focuses on how school teachers perceive the issue of homophobia among student groups. The aim of this work was to explore the thoughts and impressions of homophobia in school environment from the perspective of elementary school and grammar school teachers. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the concept of sexuality and defines its particular components and basic information about homosexuality. I especially focused on the sociological-cultural concept of sexuality and its relation to homophobia. Second chapter discusses the changes in cognitive, affective and social development during adolescence. Last chapter focuses on the subject of sexuality and homophobia in school environment and addresses the issue of homophobic harassment and bullying. In the empirical part I described my research and analyzed semi-structured interviews with elementary and grammar school teachers. Unmasculine Boys in School Peer Groups

My Bachelor Thesis deals with the status in a student group of boys who possess unmasculine behaviours, apperace and characteristics. I studied how pupils, both girls and boys and teachers behave towards unmasculine boys, how these boys are accepted, or not, into groups, and how boys with unmasculine characteristics experience their status in a group of pupils. Outcomes of my research are (1) groups of pupils set aside unmasculine boys because male and female pupils judge boys with unmasculine chracteristics in accord with the gender order, and also with the pupil's group norms, and (2) unmasculine boys doesn't feel happy and aren't satisfied with their status in the group of pupils. My thesis consists of two parts: firstly a theoretical part and secondly, empirical. The theoretical part provides information concerning gender issues. In the first chapter I present fundamental terms such as gender order, masculinity and femininity, and the development of a gender's identity. In the second chapter I deal with gender role violation of boys, and with the possible reactions of society as a consequence of this violation. Same-sex love in India

This bachelor thesis 'Same-sex love in India' deals with selected aspects of homosexuality in Indian society. It describes aspects of homosexuality in film, television, traditional romantic friendship, family, marriage and suicides. It also deals with the corresponding health issues in one part. The first part of the thesis briefly describes history and terminology related to homosexuality in India, including practical examples from Urdu poetry and one of its genres called rekhti. The biggest attention of the thesis is paid to present selected homosexual aspects closer. Neither the names of people active on a homosexual Indian field are omitted from this thesis. Bachelor thesis also documents the most important organizations dealing with rights of homosexuals in India.
