Voice preparation of preschool children

The bachelor thesis focuses on the voice preparation of children in kindergarten. The thesis is conceived as action research. The theoretical part will describe what the human voice is and how it works. I will describe there how to work with the voice in kindergartens. Voice disorders can also occur in children of this age. Therefore, in this section we will find listed and posible voice disorders, how to recognize then and how to prevent them. The practical part of the bachelor thesis will be devoted to the action research itself. Six voice moments for preschool children will be designed, their effectiveness will be practically tested and evaluated. Each of the six moments will also include my hypotheses, which will later be confirmed or refuted. At the end of the work the proposed voice moments and their usability in kindergarten will be evaluated. All goals and hypotheses that will be set in the practical part will be evaluated.
The Choir as an Option of Spending Leisure Time

The thesis deals with the choir with respect to leisure education and focuses on school-aged singers. The first part of the thesis subscribes leisure time and leisure education, music and musical abilities theoretically. Then it characterises the choir, its division, describes it as an after-school activity and names institutions that organise choirs. It also characterises school-age with respect to developmental psychology and music psychology. Then there is a theoretical subscribe of music activities that support the development of musical abilities and singing and rhythm feeling of members of child choir.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the choir and its influence on the spending of leisure time. It describes concepts such as choral singing, choirs, their division and characteristics, children's choir, voice education and its proper formation. Furthermore, research on the choir and its impact on leisure time is summarized here. The last chapter of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the preparation of the summer camp of the children's choir.
Vocal music education at elementary schools with the focus on the first year students

This diploma thesis focuses on voice training of pupils in the first grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses music and voice education, specifics and particulars of children's voices. The major part is devoted directly to specific skills that form the base of a correct singing technique. This part of the thesis also includes a short summary of the mechanics of voice formation that every teacher should know. The goal of the practical part of the thesis is to assemble a collection of exercises focused on breathing, voice and articulation issues of children. The collection should help especially the beginner music teachers to find various types of exercise and implement them in practice. All the listed exercises could become an inseparable part of music education at the elementary school.
Range of activities choirmaster of amateur and professional bodies

v anglickém jazyce The work focuses on the spectrum of choirmaster activities. Its main goal is to describe and characterize the way the choirmaster works with the choir, in all branches and areas of choral singing. Another goal is to compare the work of a choirmaster in different types of choirs - children's, women's, mixed; in the case of adult churches, the differences between amateur and professional work are then affected. The theoretical part deals with the organizational structure of choirs in the Czech Republic, the content of the study plan of the field of choral conducting at the Faculty of Education, Charles University, what the student should go through in their studies, what the student of choral subjects should learn and what knowledge and skills should be available in his choirmaster practice. It describes in detail conducting, singing and instrumental skills, the gradual development of the student from the role of a singer to the role of assistant choirmaster in choral practice and mastering the methodology of rehearsing compositions of various types and genres. In addition to leading the choir, the work focuses on knowledge and skills, both in the field of conducting and singing. Music Educationalist Pavel Jurkovič and His Methods of Children´s Musicality Development

My bachelor thesis deals with the personality of Pavel Jurkovič, a music educationalist, a singer, an instrumentalist, an author of compositions for children and the youth and a publicist. It is focused on his educational activity based on the principles of Schulwerk pedagogy of Carl Orff which is built on natural connection between music, speech and dance. I also concentrated on his life's journey and his opinions and attitudes related to his teaching practice. According to Pavel Jurkovič, music education not only represents acquiring musical skills and knowledge, but music also positively affects the human personality. I devoted my bachelor thesis to topics such as voice training, folk song, vocal production for children, rhythmic rhymes and games with music and movement, body percussion, instrumental ensemble and listening to music. I attached pieces of advice and recommendations by Pavel Jurkovič on how to procced in musical activities and how to use his sheet music and methodical manuals.
Alena Tichá and her contribution to the voice education of the primary school children with lower music aptitude

The aim of the diploma thesis is to research the contribution of a prominent music educationalist PaedDr. Alena Tichá, PhD., who specialized in primary school children with lower music aptitude in her music education metodology. The thesis is focused to gathering basic information about biographical, bibliographical, theoretical and psychological-pedagogical characters which will not only lead to clarification of Alena Ticha's contribution and her methodology of vocal education and working with non-singers, but also to formation of a theoretical scope of our own research into this branch. The theoretical scope is focused on Czech musical and pedagogical fellowship and its awarness of Alena Tichá's singing methodology as well as on possible practical experience of respondents with this methodology when working with non-singers. Musical fairy tail as a motivating and integrating mean working with the children's choir

The diploma thesis "The musical fairytale as a motivating and integrating mean working with the children's choir" deals with a musical fairytale and its influence during the lessons of the children's choir Kvítek by Václav Havel Elementary School. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis introduces with the history of a fairytale as a literary genre and with its types. The fairytale has been known since the period of antiquity. At that time, the first stories based on the mystical creatures were developed. Later, they were distributed all around the world. Next part focuses on the musical fairytale which belongs to a literary fairytale. It is enriched with a musical element that contributes to the development of children's musical skills while performing the fairytale. The last chapters of the thesis deal with voice training and the didactic process of songs training. The aim of this thesis is to practice a fairytale called Hrníčkové kouzlo with the children's choir Kvítek via an experiment and to find out how the fairytale influences either the children's choir or the audience immediately after watching it.
