Visualization Project Based on Unreal Development Kit
Bury, Jiří ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
This work focuses on game development in the Unreal Development Kit (UDK). There are discussed technologies powering the Unreal Engine 3 and tools that includes UDK. The thesis also deals with solution of a fully dynamic day cycle, advanced materials processing and generally scene creation for the game and cinematic industry. Related to skinning, rigging, texturing, importing into UDK, assigning materials and linking with the UnrealScript code, the modeling procedure of objects is explained in detail (in this case on a car).
Game Engine for 2D Games
Štanglica, Jakub ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Zachariáš, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with development of 2D game engine for Windows Phone 7. In the first part of this thesis is introduced the Microsoft XNA framework, which was used for engine development, and Windows Phone 7 platform and some development specifics that goes with it. Also term game engine is briefly described. Other parts describe design and implementation of engine and its parts in more detail and finally development of demonstration application, simple 2D game, which should prove usability of engine.
Physical Simulation in 3D Scene Using PhysX
Jašek, Tibor ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on physic simulation utilized by physics engine PhysX. Program is made in XNA Framework. Application consists of network game for two players and presentation of few physical simulations.
Physical Simulation in Computer Games
Dočkal, Jiří ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The thesis is concerned with modern game engines, focusing on physical simulation and particle systems. It offers usable architectures overview for a game engine development. The thesis provides characteristic to the most essential game engine's logical modules as scene graph, resource management or rendering. Today's tools used for physical simulation in games are also described. Main part of the thesis concentrates on design and implementation of its own C3D game engine which exploits capabilities of the NVIDIA PhysX physical engine. The thesis includes modern techniques rising from author's gained experience.
Flight Turn-Based Strategy
Vysloužil, Jiří ; Navrátil, Jan (referee) ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (advisor)
Práce rozebírá projekt, který je základem znovupoužiteného enginu počítačové hry - tahové strategie. Celkovým cílem by mělo být vytvoření komerční série počítačových her z vojenského prostředí.
3D Driving School
Langr, Petr ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with 3D Driving School simulator development, especially with control compliance of traffic rules. Thesis introduce game engine Unity 3D, which was the key factor of creating simulator. Game development in thesis begins with model and ends with scripting object behaviour.
Platform Unity 5 - characteristics and use in the development of 2D computer games
Varga, Ervin ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Vondráček, Martin (referee)
This thesis is aimed to describe the gaming development environment Unity, its accessi-bility to users, market position, advantages and possibilities for creating 2D games. The thesis focuses most on how to use tools to develop 2D games from the very beginning to various options of release them on platform Windows. Thesis describes tools for simulat-ing the physical laws such as gravity and collisions, as well as audio, camera, work with light effects, user interface, tools to create scenes, switching between scenes, as well as creating the game menu. These tools are shown on a project, which serves as a demonstration for how to use them. The thesis also describes the largest competitors in field of game engines, their ad-vantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the history of Unity, the possibility of selecting a programming language as well as the advantages and disadvantages of their use in Uni-ty. From the available languages was selected language C#, in which projects were devel-oped.

Educationally oriented game in Český Krumlov
VELEK, Aleš
Today in gaming does not focus only on observation or logical thinking of player, but also to allow a player after playing games remember the story that his game forward in an entertaining way. Telling the story of the game is a little different than in the movie, but the end result may be the same. This work " educationally oriented game in Český Krumlov " is aimed at creating the game that allows free movement of the 3D environment and the technology used for this work. For game programming technology will be used Unity3D, which allows the creation of applications in multiple platforms. Moving the player will be based on the basic game elements, such as fly or walk. They will create scripts for user interaction with the environment or texture loading from external sources. To import the entire city will be find the most appropriate format on their own models and textures. By the chosen development environment is designed game story (script) that will correspond with the history and present of Český Krumlov, and player will be motivace to further progress in the game.
