Visualization of Geographic Data of Industrial Halls
Zavadil, Lukáš ; Lazúr, Juraj (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a geographic information system that will provide the ability to manage and visualize spatial data of Honeywell’s industrial halls. The system provides an interactive interface that includes tools that allow easy editing of geographic data and visually represents the occurrence of undesirable conditions. The main benefits of its deployment include simplifying the search for downtime and the ability to quickly locate production equipment. It also contains tools that allow users to react to changes in the hierarchy and structure of production halls and their facilities.
Integration of Geovisto library components
Utíkalová, Iva ; Lazúr, Juraj (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
Many tools have been created for the visualization of geographic data with different purposes and with different level of abstraction. Among the tools for data visualization on web applications in 2021 also included by the Geovisto library. This tool was created in order to easily visualize geographic data, which, according to the user’s choice, converts the input data into a visual form and allows easy configuration of this display. Due to unsatisfactory current status web application that presents the Geovisto library, this work aims to redesign this application to attract more users or developers and convey information, how the library itself works. The new web application should be user friendly and easy for administrators to maintain.
Advanced visualisation tool for cycling traffic intensity in Brno
Šerejch, Radek ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Lazúr, Juraj (advisor)
Due to the continuously growing trend of cycling transportation, there arises a need to analyze cycling transportation. The data portal of the city of Brno provides data that can be utilized in various ways. However, the records in these datasets use different underlying maps. This problem is addressed by Radoslav Eliáš in his master’s thesis, where he creates a connected data model using algorithms. For visualizing this data, he uses the ArcGIS application, which, however, is not sufficiently flexible for easy creation of advanced visualizations. Therefore, in this thesis, an application is proposed and implemented to replace the existing method of visualization. For simple data preprocessing, the application is divided into a backend and frontend part. The backend part handles data preprocessing, which is subsequently provided through an API. The frontend part consists of a web application that handles all graph and visualization creation. The implemented solution brings broader possibilities for analyzing data and also facilitates responding to changes in the datasets.
Visualization of Route Information and Elevation Profile
Kolčárek, Michal ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
An ambition of this thesis was to create a complex program for managing geographic data from GPS receiver with graphic user interface. The final application is able to show an information about tracks, to draw tracks into map and to create graphs. Main challenge was to create a user friendly aplication, which is easy to manage even by beginner users. In this application was used a Java language using objected-oriented paradigm.
Development of "Turistický Atlas" Web Pages
Sedlmajer, Kamil ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the process of creating new version of tourist website and on its design, implementation and evaluation of further adjustments leading to the developmentof the project. The new website is written in PHP with use of Nette framework and is optimized for PC and mobile devices. The thesis further deals with creation and testing of user interface, the SEO optimization and evaluation of achieved results.
Geographics Information Systems in Transportation
Souček, Václav ; Kudrna, Jan (referee) ; Kuba,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kačmařík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Macur, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on the issues associated with the use of geographical information systems in transport. Of the various types of transport was chosen railway transport for its great potential particularly in the field of freight transport, but also because it is a relatively environmentally friendly. This fact is also well known to the leaders of the European Union, who are engaged in the field of transportation. The European Commission in its documents (green and white papers) gives accent on the development of railway transportation and combined transportation, because this is the path to secure the sustainable development of transport. In the course of this study the current state of information systems several problems were discovered. One problem is the fragmentation of the partial information systems and the associated strong administrative burden. This situation stems both from the incomplete legislative framework, but also from the lack of the concept and awareness of the managerial positions. This work deals with other selected issues. The first is the area of designing the data model topology track that satisfies the requirements set out in legislation, both European and national level. The data model was designed with regard to a sufficient degree of variability. The work contains a section dedicated to the implementation of the data model and solution design of problems associated with visualization arcs. Another area is the collection of geographic data. Data collection is one of the key tasks in the implementation and maintenance of the information system. The acquisition of the geographical data can be lengthy and costly. We therefore suggest how to use inertial measurement in acquisition of topological data. This method could speed up the entire process of data capturing with sufficient precision and reduce the costs to the acceptable range.
Information System for Management of Geographical Objects
Feňko, Šimon ; Škarvada, Libor (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this semester project is to design and implement an information system for managing geographic objects created using the Geovisto programming library. As part of the project, the user should be able to save their created geoJSONs using tools, share them with other users, and import their own geoJSON files. The system was designed and implemented in JavaScript and utilizes the JavaScript frontend library React to create user interfaces. Additionally, the user database and their stored GeoJSONs were implemented using the object-relational database system PostgreSQL.
Data Analysis of Heatmap of Brno
Kozubek, Jakub ; Hurta, Martin (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The thesis deals with the analysis of temperature data for the area of the city of Brno. It is focused on the design and verification of hypotheses for warming and cooling parts of the city. The result of the work are methods for statistical testing and for regression analysis implemented in the Python programming language, the results obtained using these methods and their subsequent interpretation in relation to the originally proposed hypotheses.
Geographic Information Systems in the field of environment and nature protection
Zrzavecká, Lada ; Bravený, Libor (advisor) ; Vaníčková, Lucie (referee)
The bachelor thesis summarize and refer to importance and effective using Geographic Information Systems in the field of environment and nature protection. The first and second chapter summarize historical development, main terms and principles of these systems to handle the problem. The third chapter deals with using GIS in the field of environment and presents examples and analysis of services and technologies in nature protection. The fourth chapter presents work with software and own concrete examples and definite possibilities. The final fifth chapter summarize and evaluates obtained results and outlines further possible development. [Authors' abstract].
