Usage of portfolios in drama classes
Kozlová, Jana ; Marušák, Radek (advisor) ; Tomková, Anna (referee)
I divided my thesis "The usage of portfolios in drama classes " into two parts. The first part of my thesis is theoretical and it deals with different types of portfolios and rates the usage of them in different drama classes. I tried to see the portfolios from the user's point of view. The whole collection of portfolios is a valuable tool that reflects the personality and social development of my students. It allows the observation of a student's attitude and value development. The list of methods and techniques can be found in my thesis, and can be used to plan lessons with the planned portfolio's output. The second part of my thesis shows illustrations of practical drama class lessons and the worksheets that can be used as a basis for future portfolios. The lesson samples contain methods, and information about the realization and reflection of the lessons as well. My thesis contains samples from the children enriched with worksheet evaluations.

Hálová, Martina ; Tomková, Anna (advisor) ; Hejlová, Helena (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to study RWCT methods used at the beginning of a school attendance and to study appropriate conditions for applying RWCT methods. The thesis deals with searching for the best method of the very initial pupils reading and also appropriate teaching materials with regard to RWCT. There is described a three-phase model of E-U-R education and selected method of critical thinking. The practical part of the thesis contains preparation for lessons processed using RWCT methods and summarizes results of pedagogical action research. The outcomes of the thesis confirm that if pupils have suitable conditions at the beginning of a school attendance, they are able to use RWCT methods in practise.

Votrubová, Alena ; Kucharská, Anna (advisor) ; Špačková, Klára (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the linguistic awareness of children at the first and second grade of elementary school in both reading methods, i.e. the analytic-synthetic and the genetic method of reading. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the critical analysis of the terms "linguistic awareness" and "linguistic sense" is done and further the approaches and traditions used abroad are compared to actual situation in the Czech Republic. In the analytic part of the thesis, the research project focused on the comparison of two tests of linguistic awareness is developed. The first method is the traditional Linguistic Sense Examination (Žlab, 1992), used not only for the diagnosing of the specific learning disorders, but also for diagnosing of bilingual children, children from minority groups and children with hearing or mental disabilities. The second method is the new Linguistic Awareness Test (Kucharská, Šmejkalová, under the preparation) prepared in the cooperation with Department of Czech Language and the Department of psychology PedF UK. In the research project, there were 40 schoolchild from the first and second grade of elementary school, 20 of them in the analytic-synthetic method of reading and 20 of them in the genetic method of reading. Cooperation between the innovative schools and families at the start attendance
Olivíková, Romana ; Kargerová, Jana (advisor) ; Stará, Jana (referee)
This work's aim is to chart the extent and the actual forms of cooperation between innovative schools and families at the beginning of school attendance. In this case, innovative school is defined as a school that teaches children to read by the genetic method or that teaches the children in the primary school the Fraus mathematics by authors Hejný, Jirotková, Slezáková-Kratochvílová, Michnová. In the theoretical part, I find out the principles on which both the new concept of Fraus mathematics and the genetic method of reading are based, and I make a link between them and the constructivist conception of teaching as well as the teacher's competences. In a wider context, this work discusses the work with mistake and emphasizes the significance of creativity. In the practical part, I used the method of written questionnaire to find out the actual forms of cooperation between these schools and families before and after the children enter the first class. Also, the questionnaire finds out what are the teachers' crucial urges to change the way of teaching of mathematics and reading as well as what is the positive of this change in the teacher's view.
