Title: Occurrence of the risk factors of civilization diseases in clients of the physical aktivity program with components of functional training. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the occurrence of risk factors of civilization diseases in a selected group of clients who have been involved in the physical aktivity program with components of functional training (Fitness Svět pod Palmovkou). Methods: The research was attended by 35 probands (women) attending group lessons with components of functional training at Fitness svět pod Palmovkou in Prague. To all probands were measured the basic anthropometric parameters (body height, body weight, BMI, WHR index). Parameters of body composition were determined by BIA (Bodystat QuadScan 4000). For the analysis of selected risk factors was used the blood pressure monitor (Tensoval duo control) and a capillary blood sample was collected invasively (BeneCheck PLUS analyzer) for cholesterol determination. To determine the occurrence of selected diseases in blood relatives, was used the questionnaire - Family anamnesis. We correlated the relationship with the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: For the whole observed group (n = 35), there was discovered a significant relationship between family anamnesis of obesity and body weight (r =...

Stránská, Eva ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
Title: The effect of functional training on parameters of body composition Objective: The main objective of the study was to analyze changes in selected parameters of body composition, which occurred due to a four-month exercise program. Method: The work has the character of an empirical research, where the main method is observation. The observed group were consisted of women (n = 15), who were attending to fitness center Partyfit in Prague. We were measured the basic anthropometric parameters (body height, body weight, BMI). To obtain the input and output data to evaluation the parameters of body composition was used bioelectrical impedance BIA (Bodystat Quadscan 4000). For determination of input and output parameters was used paired t-test (statistical significance p <0.05). To assess the substantive significance we applied (Cohen - d). Results: The results of our study show that during the specific four-month exercise program occured changes in all parameters of body composition. The most significant differences were detected in the parameter total body water 2.2%, resp. (0.9 l), total body fat 2.2%, resp. (1.3 kg) and fat free mass to 2.2%, resp. (1 kg). For other parameters the differences were slightly less significant. Key words: Active lifestyle, anthropometry, bioelectrical impedance,...

Creating a training program for university students focused on using modern tools booster
HÁVA, Lukáš
Present-day brings us new trend of fitness when old and technically obsolete gyms are replaced with much more modern and bigger fitness centres. In the last years many new fitness centres emerged. We will focus on fitness centres in České Budějovice. We will visit the biggest and the most modern ones and compare them with smaller and older ones. We will investigate which fitness machines are the most used ones and which training methods are utilized by personal trainers towards their clients. Our goal is to familiarize students with new fitness machines which can be found in given fitness centres, discover what is their real purpose and compare them with the ones which were used in the past years. Based on this information, we will try to create training programme for the University students.
