Comparison of Connection Conditions of Photovoltaic Systems in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic
Vašica, Radoslav ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this work is an analysis and a comparison of legislative conditions of the connection of the photovoltaic power station on the territory of Czech Republic (CR) and Slovak Republic (SR). Presented are the working procedures for connecting of the power station to Distribution Grid (DG) and requirements of individual documents needed for a successful connection. Listed are also circumstances, which are taken into account during the consideration of the influence for connection, for the safe operation of DG. In the work are discussed the ways of support of constructing buildings of the photovoltaic power plant and the principle of repurchasing energy from renewable sources. The other part of work deals about hybrid photovoltaic power stations (HPPS), thus allowing to the power station to save energy into accumulators. There are the composition and principle of operation of the hybrid power stations. The following part deals with options of connectivity with hybrid power station to the DG. There are explained the advantages and disadvantages of connected and unconnected hybrid power plants to the DG.
Analysis of energy supply for the complex of buildings Technicka 2
Šimková, Nikola ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Brázdil, Marian (advisor)
The diploma thesis on the topic "Energy supply of the Technical 2 complex" deals with the energy supply of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The area is a major consumer of energy and is dependent on supplies from the distribution system. At the beginning of the work there is an analysis of the current energy supply. There are two photovoltaic power plants in operation, which reduce electricity consumption. However, they were installed in 2006 and 2016, so their current performance must be analysed. The following section evaluates the technical feasibility of extending photovoltaic power plants to other building’s roofs in the area and then the final variant is evaluated from an economic point of view regarding the possible development of electricity prices. The possibilities of obtaining funds from the ongoing grant calls and future grant programs are also described.
Optimization of shopping center energy demands
Mikloš, Adrián ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis on „Optimizing of shopping center energy demands“ deals with the reduce of the energy demand of the shopping center. The theoretical part describes the possibilities of reducing the energy intensity in terms of renewable resources, the potential of renewable resources. In practical part the energy audit of the existing building is designed, then the possibilities of reducing the energy intensity of the building, the budget and expressed return on investment by means of the net present value, the internal rate of return and simple payback period.
Identification and detection of defects on the PV system - operational measurement
Leitman, Valentín ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the problem of identifying and detecting faults in photovoltaic systems. This thesis includes theoretical knowledge related to photovoltaic panels, the definition of measured parameters of the PV system and five ways how to identify faults in PV systems. The last part of this bachelor thesis deals with the author's contribution, which is to introduce a system for continuous monitoring data. System for continuous monitoring of data consists of measuring the power output of a photovoltaic panel and measurement using optical diagnostics using thermal camera. In conclusion are summarized individual knowledge, evaluation and recommendation of appropriate measurement methods for the detection of faults in PV systems.
Concept of Charging Stations with off-grid Operation for Electric Bicycles
Leitman, Valentín ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with charging stations for electric bicycles powered by renewable energy. The aim of this work is to make a proposal for the hybrid charging stations for electric bicycles, which will work independently and, if necessary, will be backed up by a network. In this thesis is entered theoretical information on the issue of electric bicycles, the batteries, charging stations, the connectors of chargers, and photovoltaic systems. The practical part of this thesis is the basic design of the charging station and its design of the mathematical model of the individual parts in Simulink program, which are linked to the actual design of the charging station. In conclusion, this thesis deals with energy and economic analysis of the proposed system, therein included various methods of assessing investment recommendations of appropriate processing methods and overall assessment of the subject.
Power optimizer design for on-grid photovoltaic systems for family houses
Trenčanová, Bianka ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with hardware design of an optimizer of energy flow from photovoltaic power plant to prevent an overflow of power made by plant to grid in grid-on system in case of excess of made energy. Theoretical part is aimed at photovoltaic, types of photovoltaic power plants and situation in Slovakia and Czech republic. Practical part is about designing the energy flow optimizer. It describes its main parts with descriptions of components' features, partial connection diagrams and finally connection diagram as a whole.
