Factoring as a Modern Way of Financing Business Activities

This master’s thesis introduces factoring as a possibility of financing business activities. It describes factoring as a form of finance business transactions, analyses selected company and proposes improvement its finance situation by means of factoring. And then master’s thesis compares financing by means of bank overdraft, which used selected company before, with financing by means of factoring, of purpose to use given finance.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company ALIKA a.s. in the period from 2015 to 2019. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the individual concepts, methods and indicators of financial analysis. In the analytical part, based on the acquired theoretical piece of knowledge, an analysis of the current state of the selected company is performed. The final part of the thesis deals with the interpretation of the achieved results and the proposal of appropriate measures leading to the improvement of the financial situation of the company.

Factoring as a Tool of Credit Management

This master´s thesis presents factoring as one of the tools of active interaction of credit risk, which creates new chances of supplier’s access to financial resources. The thesis proves the advisability of this modern way of financing in the selected company. Advisability is assessed by comparing the costs of factoring with its contributions. At the conclusion, other possible ways of improvement of present company’s credit management are suggested, that the would contribute to general transparation of the administration and debt collection.

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company PFM-service s.r.o. in 2016-2019. For the evaluation, there are used methods and procedures of financial analysis. This work is divided into three chapters. The first part describes the indicators, which are then used in the following practical part of the work, to perform a financial analysis. The last chapter includes own solutions, which are used in problematic areas and serve to improve the current financial situation of the company.

My bachelor’s thesis deals with the topic of receivables from business relations. Based on the facts found out by the analysis of receivables in the chosen business organization, I recommended measures that might make receivables management system more effective. To ensure accurate records of receivables after due date in accounting books, I designed a suitable mode of creation of rectifying items for the business organisation.

Theoretic part explains the basics of factoring, its types, advantages and disadvantages. Practical part displays the influence of factoring by help of financial analysis on specific company – how factoring helped to improve financial situation. Next the costs of factoring are compared with bank overdraft. At the end of thesis is defined recommendation to continue with factoring.

This bechelor´s thesis deals with searching for potential economic risks of Saint-Gobain PAM CZ Ltd., which operates in the market of cast iron water and sewer systems. The thesis is devided into theoretical part which defines the importent concepts and calculation methods and analytical part, which contains the actual financial analysis and results. There are suggested several options for detected deficiencies to eliminate them as possible for the company.
