In the last part the thesis is devoted to the own design of the pseudo-differential filter. Design functionality is verified by experimental simulation.
Comparison of Algorithms for Creation of Artificial Room Reverberations
Beňo, Tomáš ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Frenštátský, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with and find out possibilities of control of the reverberation properties of established algorithms for creation of artificial room reverberation. The algorithms proposed by Jon Dattorro, William Gardner and Jean-Marc Jot are implemented in the Matlab environment. Their characteristics and comparison are determined. Subsequent implementation of Jot's algorithm into the VST plug-in module in Matlab using the Audio System Toolbox extension enables to study the properties and behavior of the algorithm that handles real-time sound. The resulting plug-in can then be tested in DAW as a host application.
Beam Shaping Circuits for L Band Antenna
Kalina, Ladislav ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis contains design of beamforming network designed for passive radar antennas. The first part contains theory of passive radars and beamforming networks. The next part implies design of beamforming network at the block digram level. Then are choosed circuits for amplitude and phase control, including the design of control communication. It follows by realization of IQ phase shifter and his automatic measurement. Based on this results is phase shifter adjusted and PCB of 2x2 beamforming network is designed. Last part includes design of control application (Matlab) and control program for STM32F407VG microcontroller.
Pseudo-differential frequency filters
Hrdlička, Jan ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the pseudo differential frequency filters. Introduction The thesis describes the characteristics and frequency filters. The following describes the active elements, especially the differential current conveyors. The main objective is to design pseudodiferentialfrequency filters using the transformation nondifferential structures using differential structure differential current conveyors.
Implementation of the Parametric Equalizer into VST3 Plug-in
Pevný, Jindřich ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Frenštátský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the field of DSP (Digital Signal Processing), specifically with structures of digital parametric shelving filters, which can be used as building blocks of parametric equalizer. The objective of this thesis is to learn the options of indirect parametric filter design using decomposition of transfer functions into the function of an all-pass filter and implement these using Steinberg’s VST3 SDK.
Behavioral models of active elements with possibility of independent multi-parameter control
Novotný, Jakub ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This thesis is focused on behavioral modelling of active elements with independent multi-parameter electronic control using comercially available components. In a first part of the thesis, CVDIBA, CVDOBA, CVCC and OC elements are discussed. The functionality is verified by simulations using OrCAD PSpice. Used components are diamond transistor OPA860, variable gain amplifier LMH6505, differencing amplifier AD830, low distortion differential driver AD8138, current conveyor EL2082 and current mode four quadrant multiplier EL4083. Four active elements are further built on PCB and measured. Some applications like low pass filter, high pass filter, all pass filter and reconfigurable filter.
Diagram Eye Imaging
Chýlek, Richard ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Říčný, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis was to design an adaptor for imaging the eye diagram of digital video signals in the basic zone. Adaptor is a device by which we can illustrate the signal distortion resulting from the passage through the transmission channel, using the XY displeying. This adaptor should be designed with the symbol timing recovery. This means that the adaptor has been divided into two parts. Part of the broadcast, which consists of a units generator timing signal, generator block and pseudorandom sequences. These blocks of me created a 127-bit sequence with different frequencies (2 MHz, 4 MHz, 8 MHz and 16 MHz). In the evaluation of the adaptor, which is composed of symbol timing recovery, frequency dividers, low pass filter and all-pass network for phase synchronization and adjustment signal amplifiers, the signal is divided into two branches. The first walked through a matching amplifier and led to vertical clamps oscilloscope. The second passes through progressively above districts and ultimately led to the horizontal clamp oscilloscope. The individual blocks were designed in detail and implementation schemes were drawn up for both of the adapter. From these themes, I then proposed a DPS for each of the adaptor. They were blocks of broadcast adaptor, evaluation of the adaptor, the blocks of resources and subpanel for two main blocks. The result of this work is complete documentation for the implementation of this adaptor. Direct implementation is not required.
Digitally Controlled High-frequency Phase Shifter
Vaníček, Jakub ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with a design and a realization of an Digitally Controlled High-frequency Phase Shifter. Design of connection and Board for create demand deviceis incorporated in this project. Apparatus with a user friendly PC kontrol is result of this project.
All-pass filters based on modern functional blocks
Horák, Ondřej ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Dostál, Tomáš (advisor)
The present thesis is focused on all pass filters. The principle of all pass filters, their properties, the design of nth degree of these circuits will be analysed in succession and then some of functional blocks, by which these structures can be made, will be described. After that, the allpass filters will be designed and simulated in program OrCAD PSpice. First of all, the analysis will be performed with ideal components, then with real components. After that, the sensitivity and tolerance analysis will be made and the influence of parasite effects on circuit parameters will be examined. Once the experiments are finished, the design of Printed Circuit Board's (PCB) will be realized. Circuit showing the best parameters will be chosen for the design.
FM Coincidence Detector - Laboratory Equipment
Mlčoch, Jiří ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Baran, Ondřej (advisor)
This work is aimed at an analysis of frequency demodulation, design, simulation, and construction of a coincidence demodulator. Chapter 1 explains the basic characteristics of frequency modulated (FM) signals and provides an overview of the required signal bandwidth, the signal spectrum, and the signal-to-noise ratio after demodulation. Chapter 2 describes each type of FM demodulator separately, and it includes all significant types of demodulator for FM radio broadcast. The function of the coincidence demodulator and its characteristics are explained in detail. Chapter 3 contains a theoretical solution of the phase shift network. Calculated values of the circuit elements are verified by simulation with a view to the total harmonic distortion of the demodulator output signal. Chapter 4 describes the front-end circuit of the receiver. Here, the filter design and the mixer circuit description are provided. The final part of the thesis presents the applicable laboratory task.
