The bachelor's thesis focuses on the export strategy of the company Vetropack Moravia Glass, a.s. On the basis of the theoretical part, the export of the company and the environment of a specific market Poland in this case, are analyzed. One of the substantial parts of the thesis is also a summary of observations and recommendations how to improve the present export strategy.

In the theoretical part there are mentioned some steps, which are generally an important part of a company's preliminary before entering the international markets. The practical part is presented by the Pilsner Urquell Brewery and its activities abroad. The analysis of local beer markets and the strategy of the brand Pilsner Urquell is shown on the example of Spain and Sweden.

The goal of my Bachelor thesis is the pro-export policy of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two basic parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the field of the state export promotion. In this part I am analysing the document Export Strategy of the Czech Republic for 2006 - 2010. I am describing the institutions in charge of the execution of the pro-export policy. In the practical part I am attending to company Škoda Auto a.s., it's history, production, export strategy, state export promotion and cooperation with the state-owned institutions.
The development of the export support policy in the Czech republic since 1993

This thesis is focused on the development of the support of exports in the Czech republic. The Czech republic is a relatively small country which means it needs international trade to be able to satisfy domestic demand because of the lack of resources. In the early 90's the Czech republic was a transforming economy with no measures of export support. Because the czech exporters needed the public support to succeed on foreign markets, all the financial and non-financial measures of the export support had to be implemented from the beginning. To support the export, the country concluded contracts about trade liberalisation, provided information and assistance services for exporters and provided also financial and insurance services with the state assistance. The thesis is divided into several parts according to the periods of implementation of the export support. In the first two periods till 2002 there was not a unified system of providing the export support, the state institutions did not cooperate enough and the whole support system has been developing till the present. Since 2003 the Czech republic has had a conception of the export support that stipulates conditions of functioning of the export support system and it includes the ways how to improve this system.

Czech-Egyptian business co-operation with a view to the cultural diversity

In the first chapter is mentioned the basic information about Egypt - geographical location, political system, history and its membership in international organizations. The second chapter concerns with the Egyptian economy as a whole - especially with GDP, inflation and unemployment. I also focus myself on Egyptian foreign trade. In the third part of my work I describe Czech-Egyptian relations. I try to analyze the export strategy and Egyptian market - its weak and strong sites, opportunities and threats. Last chapter is concentrated on the culture and cultural differences and the Hofstede theory.
Export and Marketing Strategy Analysis in Brewing Industry on the Concrete Example

The first chapters of the thesis describe the Czech beer market, beer consumption in the Czech Republic and current trends. It also describes world export and the Czech beer export and assesses the Czech production situation on a worldwide basis. In the practical part I am attending to Pivovar Nymburk, it's history, production and range of products. In the other chapters I am describing competitors in the Czech industry and the situation in German beer industry as a market where Pivovar Nymburk exports the most of the beer. The fifth chapter describes objectives and positioning of the brewery, includes SWOT analysis and BCG matrix for a detail describtion of the portfolio. The chapter six describes export strategy, export markets and the way how the brewery enters foreign markets. The next chapters contain some of the marketing mix policies. The final chapter includes recommendations for the brewery's activities in the future.
Export Strategy Projects of the Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on twelve main Export Strategy projects of the Czech Republic during the years 2006-2010. The main objective is to analyse current degree of their realisation and suggest possible changes. The theoretical part concentrates on pro-export policy including institutional background. In the practical part the projects are analysed. Each project (chapter) is then divided into three parts - introduction of a project, its assessment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and current assessment by the author. Each chapter also includes suggestions of corrective instruments.
