Objectives: This thesis has two main objectives. First objective is analysis of management World cup skicross hold in Harrachov 2013. Second objective is execution of ex-post evaluation and preparation of new management plan for World cup skicross in Czech Republic Methods: In thesis are used methods like case study, interview, questionnaire survey, document analysis and SWOT analysis. Summary: The main aim was to create plans for improvement of management world cup skicross in Czech Republic. Implementation of these plans to event plan can be first step to get organizing WC for next period. The Importance of Manager‘s Communication in an Event Management

The object of this bachelor thesis is the communication importance analysis of events organization with the respect of preparation phases and realization. In the theoretical part there is described the event management introduction, personality description as well as importance and the type of communication. The practical part is focused on the communication analysis of the organization agility competition Moravia Open, where the actual status of communication is evaluated. The effective communication improvements are developed subsequently, based on structured interviews with participants and authors personal experience. Conclusion of this bachelors thesis includes communication improvements recommendations and suggestions.

Development of Information System for Student Organization

The main theme of presented thesis is a research conducted in purpose of finding the best possible software application for supporting event management in student organization, event management in particular. In order to achieve the goal of my thesis I analyzed the operations model of two different student clubs, operating at University of Economics in Prague. After the analysis, I carried out market research in order to find the best possible fit. Because of the fact, that I did not find any suitable solution, I proposed a construction of new information system. The following development of proposed web application is also part of this thesis. For building the solution, I used number of different technologies, mainly ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Azure. The final application has contributed to day-to-day efficiency of Bussiness IT Club.

The Use of Project Management Tools in Event Management

The aim of this thesis is to determine possibilities and real use of project management tools in event management, in sphere built on project bases, but that is also very dynamic and changing even in realisation. The thesis focuses on software support for managing projects and project teams, that are applicable in event management. The research was made for the selection of optimal tool for realization of leasure time, public event Ladronkafest. Selection is based on multi-criteria decision evaluation process, that is implemented after consultation with professionals in event management. The chosen software was tested on some smaller event. During the test users realized some negatives about this program and decided not use it.

The bachelor thesis deals with international festival of science documentary films Academia Film Olomouc. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the economic benefits of the festival for the city of Olomouc and to evaluate benefits for the development of regional tourism. The theoretical part describes basics of tourism, events, event marketing and event management, destination marketing and events evaluation. The practical part analyzes the current state of the festival and evaluates its benefits. The conclusion contains suggestions and recommendations for the future of the festival.

Event Management – solution of event project, field IT and logistics

The thesis on topic Event Management - solution of event project, field IT and logistics deals with the real project realized by company with particularly logistic branch, where the author is working. Whole thesis is about event, which was realized from November 2011 till March 2012. The aim of this thesis is to highlight problems linked to the project and event management and also to point out which methods are used in relation to the very realization of logistic forum. The reader of this thesis should be able to find out what the preparation, realization and implementation of the project contain and in which way might be used. Theoretical part clarify what the project and event management contains, which methodics are normally used and try to map different concepts of project and event management and what principles should be followed. Practical part deals with a real event, how gradually progressed in the implementation and project plan will be compared with the reality. This thesis is based on empiric method, especially on kind of empiric method -- project. For solving the main goal of thesis is used basically interpretation method - to show whole process of making this event. The conlusion and as a matter of fact hypothesis is to prove succesful realization based on theoretical principles of project and evetn management.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of main activities that precede creation of an enterprise and to verify viability of a specific business plan. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of basic terms, analysis of legal environment concerning undertakings in the Czech Republic, business plan and event management itself. The practical part contains description of a specific business case for establishing an enterprise focused on event management. It also includes a company name choice, legal form of newly established enterprise and a thorough business plan.
