Ethics code and his sense for professional competences

Every profession has some responsibility. Some skills that are not circumscribed by law, subject to the so-called ethical code. The most famous areas, subject to the Ethics Code, it is medicine. In the theoretical part of this work will define the scientific literature on the concept of a code of ethics, and I will continue to pursue professions that are subject to the Code of Ethics. I would like to compare the function of the code of ethics in the past and now. I would like to focus on the ethical code of teachers, social workers, nurses and doctors, police and / or. journalists. The practical part will try to find out whether the profession, which I described in the theoretical part, really manages ethical codes. For the preparation of his thesis will use the first method of comparison, compare the history with the present. Then we analyze the information obtained from interviews conducted with a representative of one of those professions.
Problems of advertising in business and ecomonic competition within the frame of European Union

Objectives of this thesis is concentrate on problems of advertising in business and economic competition within the frame of EU. Thesis analyse advertising as such. In this thesis, there is a description of notion advertising, history of advertising, functions, objectives{\dots}etc. Consenquently there is a description of medium for advertising. In Czech republic, the advertising is legally regulate by public law and by private law. At the same time, it use also nonlegal instruments for regulation. It is self-regulation by the help of Ethics code. Ethics code is published by RPR (Rada pro reklamu). It watch over ethics and mind of advertising. Unfair competition is behaviour in economic competition, which is in violation of good manners and is qualified to evocate injury of others competitors or consumer. Unfair competition is for example false advertising, embracery, impeachment{\dots}etc. Economic competition is regulate and controlled by ÚOHS (Úřad pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže). It create condititons for subvention and protection. Competition law is used in case of violation against conditions of economic competition. It is for example abuse of dominant position, association of competitors or forbidden agreements. Within the frame of law, it exists sanctions for protections againts infringement of economic competition and unfair competititon. Concerning advertising in the European Union, it is analogous to advertising in Czech republic. For regulation, there is many EC directives regulating advertising.
Ethics in the spare-time activities of old people

The subject of this diploma theses is emphasize the necessity of keeping ethics principles and the ethic code in the spare-time activities and relaxation activities with old people. The theses points out that our population is growing older. In the theoretical part the important terms are explained. The old age and the aging process, the changes and specialities of the old age are described too. In the end of the theoretical part the existence of the National Programme of Preparation for Ageing the new Social law is mentioned. The aim of the practical part is the mapping of citizens awareness of spare-time activities of old people in different social settlements. The data were got in the questionnaire survey. Ageing process is the entire part of human life cycle. The young people should be aware of the fact, that the quality of their contemporary life can influence their old age. The ethic attitude to old people should be the part of the education.of young children.
Ethics and morality as a part of human resource management

The goal of this diploma is to discover, how employees percive ethics and morality as an component of human resources management. For my survey were selected three farming businesses and one institution of public administration. I have chosen these businesses because of their diverse specialization. I made a guestion form which was given to 96 employees. In the first part of this diploma work I summarized theoretical infotmation about ethics, morality and human resource management. In methodology, there is description of questionary method and dialogue which I used. In the next capitol I am descibing individual guestions. Each answer was put down into the graph. The results and discussion follow after the graph. Ethics and morality are not priotity in most of ours farming businesses. The top management staff must learn, that these important parts of human resource management are the key in their way to success. In the institution of public administration are ethics and morality part of human resource management for a long time. But there are still some problems in this dilemma. The ethics code is matter of course. But the top management should be more open to their employees and give them more respect and recognition.
Work motivation of employees in helping professions in the ARPIDA Centre, and the Libnič Home and Empatie Centre

Work motivation of employees in helping professions in the ARPIDA Centre, Libnič Home and Empatie Centre The thesis solves the motivation problems in choice of helping professions. In theoretical part I dealt with a question what is the mason for a person to perform helping professions.This job is of considerable attraction that can be the reason why an employee can perform this exhausting work even at lower financial evaluation than what is offered at some other professions. Important is that helping is undoubtedly meaningful activity for lots of people. Helping person concerns important life questions and problems of real people. The aim of practical part is monitoring of satisfaction in people working at state( Libnič Home and Empatie Centre) and non-state (Arpida Centre) institution including system of burn-out prevention. Supposed hypotheses: 1. Workers of monitored centers are despite of their lower financial evaluation satisfied with their jobs. 2. Motivation for choice of helping professions are the same both in state and non-state institutions. 3. Workers of monitored centres are informed on rules of psychohygiene in performing the helping professions. The research confirmed first and third hypotheses. The second hypothesis was not confirmed. In order to prove the hypotheses I used a form of quantitative questioning. The data collection proceeded with questioning method, technique of questionnaire. This thesis could be used at organizations where monitoring was carried out. It also can serve as a manual for people working in helping professions and centres of social service.
Business ethics

This bachelor thesis discourses an increasing importance of observance of business ethics standards. The aim of this work is to analyse the level of setting up and adherence to standards of business ethics in a bank sector and of failing to keep it. A questionnaire among the employees of the bank institution Česká spořitelna was used as an instrument of research.
The legal regulation of auditing in the Czech republic and the international harmonization process

The thesis describes law relating to auditors and audit services in the Czech republic. It consists of five chapters. The first one defines the audit, goes through its history, development, and lists the main goals it should fulfill. The second chapter deals with ethics of the audit profession. The rules are mainly covered by the ethics code which sets the basic principles all auditors are obliged to respect and follow. Various circumstances threatening these principles and settings that auditors might find themselves in are detailed there. The third chapter deals with the historical development of law relevant to audit services from 1989 to present. There is also defined which accounting entities are supposed to have their financial statements checked by an auditor in this chapter. The fourth chapter covers the up-to-date subject of implementation of the directive 2006/43/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council by the act no. 93/2009, on Auditors. The structure of the chapter follows the aforementioned act and its subchapters correspond to the act's titles. The last chapter lists the professional regulations the auditors are obliged to comply. This includes especially the International standards on auditing issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. The end of the chapter addresses the project for increasing comprehensibility of international standards on auditing and ensuring its uniform administration.
Ethic problems of the audit profession

The work deals with ethic porblems of audit profession and their violations. It focus on the definition of the ethical rules in the normative sources. It analyzes accounting scandals in the U.S. at the turn of the 20th and 21 century and their impact. Finally, it discusses the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, as an main effect of these scandals.
