Operation of electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles and vehicles with an internal combustion engine
Herzog, Radim ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kučera, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of different propulsion concepts and their consumption, efficiency, and amount of emissions produced during operation. Although electric vehicles do not produce any local emissions, it is necessary to consider that emissions are generated during the production of electricity in power plants. The main part of the thesis introduces the functional principles of individual propulsion systems. Furthermore, it describes the formation of exhaust gas emissions in combustion engines and outlines their limits. Subsequently, the amount of emissions produced by a power plant for the operation of a specific example of an electric vehicle and a hybrid vehicle is calculated. Finally, a comparison of emissions production from representative examples of each propulsion system is illustrated.
Black coal position in the Czech energy sector
Kolarčík, Vojtěch ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis describes role of coal (especially the black) on the energy industry of Czech Republic. It attends to present sort of reserves in the Word and by us. Next it evaluates actual sort of energy industry. Closely analyses the power station Dětmarovice. It looks for possibilities enjoyment of coal in the future not only in the energy sector.
Power - plant
Studený, Jan ; Severa, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The "POWER - PLANT" deals with the rehabilitation of the former Central Power Conversion and Dale Schoeller (Nejedly I and III) in the village Libušín Mine. Will be newly designed for building the power plant technology with progressive fluidized bed boiler to biomass steam turbine with an output of 7 MW and absorption (trigeneration) unit producing heat, cooling and electricity, which also will function as a cooler primary circuits. The source of water for the power plant will not only former mining pit Nejedlý I which is currently flooded drinking water at about 12 ° C. This system uses high efficiency embedded fuel (biomass), which is ultimately required less. A greater proportion of electricity generated and part of the heat will be distributed to the public network. In most areas will be proposed publicly accessible greenhouses of steel-aluminum construction filled ETFE foil forming the heat insulating membrane filled with air. The reason is to create conditions for the cultivation of tropical and subtropical plants. Greenhouses will be connected to the absorption unit power (underground meanders through which water will circulate), the ventilation shaft mine and mine water - therefore it will be possible to manage the conditions of the internal environment of the building without the influence of the season and especially without mounting other technological devices. It will provide for cooperation with the absorption unit for cooling the primary circuit - therefore eliminating the need for cooling towers or fans. The project will build a detached departments of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Prague - Institute of progressive technologies and systems for energy and the Faculty of Agronomy and Natural Resources CULS. The reason is to allow students and scientists actively and in practice mainly participate in the operation and especially the development of the issue. The public in the area besides themselves open to the greenhouses indoor and outdoor thermal swimming. Part of the entrance hall is a bistro and foremost lecture hall. The aim is decentralized botanical-energy complex of buildings that produce electricity, heat, cooling, and biomass, and creating recreational, educational and research conditions.
Business Plan - Construction of Fotovoltaic Power Station
Bendová, Jana Ludmila ; Stříbrnský, Petr (referee) ; Martinovičová, Dana (advisor)
Bachelor thesis presents the business plan of fotovoltaic power station construction with special rotation system. In these thesis are named relevant legal norms, which effect given project as well as theoretical and practical business plan analysis.
Accumulation of electricity from renewable sources
Plíšek, Petr ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of accumulation of electricity produced by renewable sources. The first part focuses on the description of possible ways of accumulation, especially with focus on those methods, that are suitable for renewable energy sources. The next part deals with the design of the accumulation energy in the compressed air for the selected photovoltaic power plant. The necessity of designing a particular method of energy storage, is also its technical and economic analysis, which is the content of the last part of the thesis.
Project for an automouse source of electrical energy
Vinkler, Stanislav ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Purpose of the thesis is enlarged the theory about potential utilization of an autonomous (autonomic) electric power supply used for a family house. Forepart will dealt with description of the resources in accordance with conversion of different kinds of energy to electric power. There will be always given the principle of the power generation as well as a list of main components of the system for each single source. Second part will be focused on generator output assessment of the autonomous source to ensure the power supply for the model family house. There will be my own design of the autonomous sources namely a project of a small hydropower plants and a project of a cogeneration unit in the third section of the thesis. The last part is aimed at the techno-economical evaluation of the engineered sources.
Engineering solution of photovoltaic power station
Gajdošík, Ivo ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the usage of solar photovoltaic panel production of electic energy. First part focuses on solar radiation alighting the Earth, respectively the area of Czech republic. Next part covers a development of photovoltaic from the very beggining til nowadays, it describes its spread in the world and the area of Czech republic. Then a reader us introduced to physical principles that work inside solar cells a one single chapter desribes individual parts of photovoltaic power station. Next chapter is dedicated to a model study of photovoltaic power station devided in two alternates- with stacionary placement of panel and placement on trackers, where after a market research, there is a whole technical solution designed and economical and delivery balance is calculated. At the last part there are described main directions of development in the field of usage of solar energy for electric current production.
Electricity blackout study with regard to the nuclear power plant Dukovany
Žák, Jiří ; Fejta, Libor (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The entire diploma thesis analyses causes, consequences and repercussions of an electricity grid network blackout and its impact to the respective consumers. Remarkable blackouts recorded since 1965 are briefly described and basic available information is considered. The grid standard fixing measures and electricity delivery priorities are characterized. The thesis also pays attention to entire Czech Republic grid availability and its blackout endurance as well as to its robustness within last several years. Indirect Fukushima event influence to the Czech Republic electricity system is mentioned. The main part of the thesis comprises of four big European grid blackouts causes and consequences, their comparison to each other and to the Dukovany nuclear power plant grid blackout drill scenario. The preventive and standard corrective measures against blackouts are pointed out.
