Ball position control with airflow using PLC
Hubálek, Michal ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an educational model of air levitation and regulation. The theoretical part introduces the principle of the programmable logic controller of the company B&R Automation. In the next part, methods of measuring distance were described. The main part of the work was the construction of the whole mechanical part. Furthermore, the design of electronics and cabling to connect the model with a programmable controller. The final output is a functional model of air levitation and a tutorial for the subject.
Návrh a realizace výukového modelu Závaží na pružině
Mikulenka, Ondřej ; Vejlupek, Josef (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of an educational model of a mass on a spring. The model's construction includes a sensor and an actuator for system excitation. A data acquisition card has been developed to control the model. The parameters of the simulation model were determined based on measured data. The work includes demonstrative exercises for teaching purposes. It provides a comprehensive approach to the "Mass on Spring" model.
Design and implementation of a pneumatic educational model
Javorek, David ; Dobossy, Barnabás (referee) ; Najman, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with creating an educational pneumatic model and its subsequent simulation. The research section describes the possibilities and types of control of pneumatic actuators. Furthermore, their modelling in Simulink using Simscape blocks is explained here. In the practical part of the work is given the procedure of creating an educational model, how their control and data collection from sensors is solved. Finally, the modelling of the simulation is explained.
Teaching aids for physics and chemistry created by FFF 3D printing
PÍŠA, Adam
The thesis focuses on the creation of a set of experiments for teaching physics and chemistry using aids created by 3D printing. Each experiment is designed based on the framework curriculum for primary or secondary school. Firstly, experiments using existing aids are created, followed by an experiment with a modified aid, and the largest part of the thesis focuses on experiments with newly created aids. Each experiment is described and commented, including photo documentation, and at the same time the model is shared via the online interface Printables. In total, there are three existing, one modified and eight custom aids in this thesis. All aids have been verified by the author in his own lessons and presented to other teachers of relevant subjects. Based on the verification, it can be stated that the biggest benefit is easy modifiability and low cost.
Comparison of attractiveness of educational models vs. real mounted zoological specimens for secondary chool pupils
Šibravová, Jitka ; Mourek, Jan (advisor) ; Janštová, Vanda (referee)
This thesis deals with the preference of pupils at secondary schools (gymnasia) for different types of teaching aids in zoology education. The main objective was to determine whether the pupils rate educational models as more attractive than the real zoological preserved specimens and whether their preferences are related to their susceptibility to potentially phobic stimuli, realism of the object or whether preferences differ between the sexes. Selected models included entire animals as well as animal organs. The research was conducted at selected secondary schools (gymnasia) in Prague and Jablonec nad Nisou using a questionnaire and a preference test. Secondary school pupils and their biology teachers participated in this research. The realistic design of each object was assessed by researchers and students from the Faculty of Science Charles University using a scale questionnaire. The results showed that students rated the real zoological preserved specimens as more attractive compared to teaching models, with no dependence on whether the objects were entire or anatomical. Effect of gender on overall preference has not been showed; however, the boys had a tendency to evaluate generally unpopular organisms more positively than girls. No influence of susceptibility to potentially phobic stimuli,...

Physical aids created by 3D printer
KLOFÁČ, Patrik
The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify, propound, create and verify own educational models and aids usable for teaching physics. Models and aids are selected according to the Framework Educational Program for the second grade of elementary school. Models already created are verified and described, alternatively modified.

The Role of Primary School Teachers in Moral Education
Polánková, Barbora ; Strouhal, Martin (advisor) ; Koťa, Jaroslav (referee)
This theoretical bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of an primary-school teacher in moral education of a child. It defines important moral conceptions related to these problems. This thesis explains the mechanisms of the socialization and social learning processes which are a precondition of moral education. The text also describes theories of moral judgment development of an individual and points out opportunities of their implementation into the work of a teacher. Specific aspects of teacher's role in moral education of a child form an individual chapter. Attention is paid here especially to the teacher being as an important educational model, his fundamental personal characteristics and authority. The following part of this chapter defines the terms discipline and education of students' character. The last chapter concentrates on the teacher and possibilities of moral education in the context of Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
Využití 3D tisku při výrobě výukových modelů
ZAJÍC, Zdeněk
The first part of this work presents the history of 3D printing, 3D printing processes andmodel formats for 3D printing. The following chapter presents the most widely used 3D printer technologies, advantagesand disadvantages of 3D printing and spheres where 3D printing can be used. In practical part is described the printer and the software, which were used for printing of educational models. There are also links, where can be found plenty of quality educational models. In conclusion are presented the most frequent problems of 3D printing and a description of educational models.
