Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.
Comparison between educational methods and organizational teaching styles of a second language within the scope of the compulsory education and the education in a leisure time

Title: Comparison between educational methods and organizational teaching styles of a second language within the scope of the compulsory education and the education in a leisure time Abstract: This diploma thesis deals with the topic of educational methods and organizational teaching styles and their contribution to the effectiveness of second language teaching and learning. It also concerns with other circumstances that influence students in their learning. The theoretical basis for this purpose is provided by the theoretical part that introduces theoretical views on student's motivation, the role represented by teaching organization, applied methods, assessment of students and the personality of a teacher as described in professional literature. The practical part presents conclusions that were reached by questionnaires, discussions and interviews realized with students and teachers. It offers their opinions of factors influencing the effectiveness of teaching that they compared within the scope of the high school education and the education realized by language schools in the form of post- graduate classes. Special catechesis. Theory and Practice

This dissertation titled "Special catechesis. Theory and Practice" explores the methods of teaching religion to mentally handicapped children. The research focuses on the presentation of theoretical and practical methods introduced by D, Jucha, J. Madeja, D.Doroszewka, B. Janosz and other significant Polish catechists. The theoretical part, besides a systematicly processed terminology also deals with the actual content and the main aim of special-care catechesis. In addition, it provides an interpretation the dignity of man as it can be found in some church archives. Last, but not least, attention is drawn to the important role of families, parishes and catechists. The second, practical, part is inspired by the methods of B. Janosz - whether it is put to creative use along with new teaching materials as well as new communication tools that motivate mentally handicapped children for active participation in special-care classes. The author of this study concluded that even the weakest must be provided adequate catechesis as every human being, no matter how limited, is capable of growth to sanctity. These people feel the need and are entitled to life in faith. There is a need for oligo-catechesis and it is unquestionable.
Text work at civics lessons

The bachelor thesis deals with text work methods and their utilization at civics at primary schools' second level. The theoretical part defines basic civics terminology, namely educational methods, text work methods, text, textbooks, readers and civics literacy. The practical part includes content analysis of complex civics and Czech language and literature textbooks for primary schools' second level. Survey used in the bachelor thesis concentrates on texts and methods used during civics lessons. There are also three worksheets with example work methods included.
The use of activation methods in teaching economics

Abstrakt In my thesis I deal with the activation methods. The aim of this is to explain the students given topic using several activation methods with following test, which should give feedback of the results achieved. I wanted to research whether the activation methods affect students knowledge. I also wanted to know the students opinion on those methods and find out, if they are used by teachers of economics. I divided the diploma thesis into two parts, theory and research. In the theoretical part I describe the education on schools of economics, forms of organization, educational methods mainly the activation ones. In research I describe the procedure of my experiment. The crucial part is the analysis of the didactic tests results, which was done by the students and it is completed with the questionnaires results. I point out the impact of using the activation methods in teaching and the benefits for students, who gain the practical knowledge.
Motivation and education

This work is mainly focused on understanding the basic methods and approaches of motivation and employee training. The work is divided into several parts. A theoretical part precisely defined objectives processing of technical work, there are described various motivational and educational tools, their benefits, or conversely a negative impact on employee performance. Also at this work you can find views of experts, including citations of the literature. This is followed by a practical part which aims to verify the gained knowledge and insight into the practical aspects. And finally conclude that leverages existing enterprise system, motivation and training of staff and, if necessary, the proposal contains useful measures that could improve the system.
Parents´ opinions on preschool children education in the context of the problems of educational styles

This thesis deals with the way of education of preschool children in the family in the context of the issue of educational styles. The theoretical part explains basic concepts of the topic and also characterizes the specifics of preschool developmental period, including needs of preschool children and gives a picture of the contemporary family. The next part focuses on psychological aspects of educational methods issues on educational styles and their influence on the personality development of the child. The main goal of the practical part, is to insight into the parent's attitude to education and compare these attitudes with opinions of classroom teachers in kindergarten on the example of seven children from different family environment.
Ethical aspects of leading persons with autism spectrum disorders

The thesis addresses ethical aspects of upbringing and educating persons with autism spectrum disorders, focusing particularly on integrating them in a normal school. In the theoretical part the terms related to ASD issues are defined and specific behavior and expressions of children with autism and Asperger?s syndrome are described. This thesis is dedicated particularly to these individuals and to their integration to a normal school. Therefore this part of the thesis deals with the field of education and upbringing of these persons and it describes the educational principles, methods and strategies that are being used in this field. The thesis concentrates on ethical aspects of leading persons with autism spectrum disorder and therefore the theoretical part deals also with ethical aspects of education and upbringing and defines terms related to ethics. There are two case studies in the practical part of the thesis that show the problems and ethical dilemmas related to integrating pupils with ASD into a regular high school from the point of view of a teaching assistant. The thesis emphasizes the need for ethical education and ethical code in the education system that would guarantee that persons with ASD are led not only professionally, but also ethically.

The topic of the diploma thesis is focused on the areas of human resources management, education and development of employees in a Fire Rescue Brigade of South Bohemia. The principal aim of this thesis was the evaluation analysis of the system of employee education and development in the selected company, identification of educational needs, proposals for changes and recommendations for improving the management of this area.
Set of Problems connected with Employees' Education in a chosen Organization

The purpose of this thesis is the current education system in the company Termoplast Ltd. analysis, and propose posible solutions of identified deficiencies. The findings reported in the theoretical part and the subsequent application of these findings into practice subserve to achieve the goal of thesis. The practical part alalyze the education partly based on interviews with a responsible person, partly is the staff satisfaction with the current state of education in the company detected by the questionnaire. The intention is to maintain a comprehensive view on the subject.
