Factors of economic impact of Brazil and China in the context of BRICS on the world economy

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the economic impact of Brazil and China in the context of BRICS countries on the world economy. The first chapter sets out the specifics of the BRICS group, with emphasis on Brazil and China. The second chapter analyzes the current economic situation of the two selected states through economic, social, political and technological indicators. In the final chapter, on the basis of the previous analysis identifies the main factors of economic power of Brazil and China, their possible future developments and risks associated with the dynamic development of these countries.

Economic of international running sport actions in the Czech Republic

The economic situation of the company Prague International Marathon, s.r.o. is the main objective of this Diploma Thesis. To be more accurate, it particularly is the application of methods and tools of financial analysis together with analysis of revenue and costs of the company. When implementing previous methods and tools of economic analysis, we will be able to assess the economic health of the company. This analysis is primarily focused on horizontal and vertical analysis of assets and liabilities. It also focuses on ratio indicators. Following section of the Thesis deals with economic analysis of earnings and costs. The final task is to analyze the economical impact of organizing running actions in the Czech Republic. This economical impact will be compared with similar actions taking place in Germany, especially in Berlin.

Vyhodnocení ekonomických dopadů existence CHKO a NP ve vztahu k prosperitě dotčených regionů

Zpráva obsahuje následující výstupy: 1. Úvod, 2. Socioekonomická analýza VZCHÚ, 3. Analýza právních nástrojů ochrany přírody a krajiny a 4. Návrh metodiky pro hloubkovou analýzu v pilotních územích. Ke zkoumanému problému přistupuje řešitelský tým v zásadě třemi způsoby: a) hodnotí relativně komplexní/územní projevy velkoplošné regulace prostřednictvím socioekonomické analýzy VZCHÚ (výstup č. 2), b) analyzuje regulační rámec a jeho ekonomické dopady na vybrané subjekty v chráněném území, přičemž tato část je řešena ve dvou základních krocích [primární analýza nástrojů - zaměřena pouze na právní a ekonomické nástroje (výstup č. 3) a sekundární hloubková analýza nástrojů ochrany ve vybraných pilotních územích (součást případových studií – viz návrh metodiky, výstup č. 4)], c) hodnotí interpretaci regulace ochrany přírody a krajiny v CHKO a NP jako jednoho z faktorů místního ekonomického rozvoje (součást případových studií – viz návrh metodiky, výstup č. 4). Jednotlivé výstupy jsou pracovními verzemi, které budou dokončeny během 1. kvartálu roku 2005. Hodnocení ekonomických dopadů právních a ekonomických nástrojů na aktivity hlavních skupin aktérů v chráněných oblastech je zpracováno v pracovní verzi a bude v další fázi podrobeno kritickému posouzení v rámci expertního panelu složeného ze zástupců řešitelského týmu. Paralelně s finalizací primárních analýz budou v I. kvartálu roku 2005 zahájeno zpracování hloubkových analýz ve vybraných pilotních územích. Předpokladem k zahájení prací na případových studiích je schválení výběru pilotních oblastí ze strany zadavatele.

Analysis of the benefits of the single European currency on the example of Slovakia

This bachelor thesis focuses on the question, whether the membership of Slovakia in eurozone is beneficial or not. It analyses, in which field of the economy has euro left the biggest impact and it calculates the contribution of the euro on Slovak people, companies and international trade. Adoption of euro is of course considered on the background of the world economy, which currently deals with the global financial crisis. The work also describes the formation, development and the current problems of euro. It answers the question, whether is for Slovakia beneficial to be the first country among the V4 group that adopted euro.

Australian immigration policy and its economic impacts

This paper describes trends in Australian immigration policy and analyses impacts of immigrants and immigration on the Australian economy. The first part defines the term of international migration and its categories. The second section is devoted to the description and explanation of particular migration theories, which are used during the study of international migration. Assumptions, causes and effects of migration are investigated in detail. Impacts of migration on the economy are further explored in the third part of the thesis. The influence of immigrants on the labor market, wages and unemployment, economic growth and international trade are continued to be examined. Fiscal effects of immigration and a problem of population aging are also described. The next part talks about Australian immigration policy, its evolution and current situation. It analyses different waves of immigration to Australia from 1788 to present. The beginnings of the White Australia Policy are portrayed as well as the change to multiculturalism. The last chapter analyses the composition of Australian immigration population and covers the impacts of the Australian immigration policy on the Australian economy, growth and international trade.

The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the process of adopting the euro in Slovakia. The thesis consists of four chapters. The main chapter is the chapter number four where I examine in detail the effects od euro adoption on the Slovak economy. My research is based on statistical data from 2009.

Economic impacts of VAT harmonization in European Union

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the economic impacts of VAT harmonization in the Member States of the European Union. The theoretical part of this work deals with tax policy in the field of indirect taxation, particularly the effects of indirect taxes from the micro- and macro perspective. Subsequently, it analyses the EU tax policy, which is largely bound primarily to indirect taxes, specifically to the most important one: value added tax. The practical part uses available macroeconomic data to deal with the very economic impacts of the VAT harmonization process on particular Member States. It will mainly be an analysis of changes in the share of VAT in GDP and an analysis of the ratio in which individual incomes from VAT go to Member States' national budgets, or how these indices change in connection with various stages of harmonization.

Economic effect of migration flows with a view to EU area

This thesis discusses the economic effects of migration in the countries of European Union. This topic is very wide with a lot of related fields. The thesis explains the basic conception, typology, development, impacts and current trends in immigration flows to EU area. The focus of the second part is illegal migration and the border protection of EU. The main part is concerned with the impact of migration flows on economic growth and labour market as well as the social and demographic factors, which deal with population aging. This impact is considered within four regions of EU. The last part of the paper is occupied by EU migration policy. Within these chapters is considered also Czech Republic in relation to migration flows and the following confrontation with the others states of European Union.
