The use of grant programs to support well-being

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of wellbeing in inclusive education and the opportunities for drawing on grant funds to support activities aimed at wellbeing in primary schools. Specifically, it provides insight into how schools established according to § 16 Act no. 561/2004 Sb. - the education law, participate in the grant call of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports Template I supporting school wellbeing activities. The aim of the thesis is to describe, based on research, how the implemented financial support from grant sources is reflected in the life of the school. The theoretical part, as the first part of the thesis, describes the concept of wellbeing and also offers an overview of grant support intended for schools and their activities. The second part of the bachelor thesis includes a description of the research investigation, which is divided into two phases. The conducted research took place in two phases. In the first phase of the research, quantitative investigation of data on the involvement of all schools in the grant call Template I was carried out. Municipal housing policy

The topic of the thesis is municipal housing policy. It is divided into three parts – two theoretical, one practical. The first theoretical part explains general characteristics of the housing policy, describes the role of the state and the goals in general. The second theoretical part presents the State Housing Concept from 2005, its goals, their fulfilment, current situation of the housing stock, as well as available sources of support. The practical part focuses on the housing policy of towns and cities, i.e. municipal housing policy. It shows various ways to manage municipal houses – via housekeeping companies and relevant municipal departments. An example of two existing towns shows the differences in the ways of management, budgets and division of powers.

Evaluation of Investments in Energy Saving Measures

Bachelor thesis deals with energy-saving measures implemented in buildings, financing of investments in these measures and methods of economic evaluation. The theoretical part describes how to determine the energy performance of buildings, types of energy-saving measures, funding opportunities and economic evaluation. The practical part describes the energy-saving measures, carried out on two prefabricated buildings and the method of financing and economic evaluation of these investments.

In the second part are the tools, forms and institutions of the housing policy. In the third part are tendentions in development of the housing policy. Fourth part is housing policy in Horní Čermná. In the fifth part is comparison of housing polici in Horní Čermná and in Czech republic in general.

Comparison of Subsidy Programs for Local Heating in Czech and Slovak Rep

Bachelor thesis deals with subsidy for family houses and their impact on environment in Czech Republic and Slovakia which bear guilt for polluted environment. In the first part of thesis are described financial advantages flowing from the membership in the EU. In the next part are described operational programs with focus on so called “kotlíkové dotace” (boiler subsidy), available programs in Slovakia and compering of possibilities for citizens of given states, due to obtaining the subsidy. Last part is focused on impact of kotlíkové dotace on environment in the Czech Republic.

The bachelor thesis deals with financing an investment project in the context of EU policy. The theoretical part describes investments, investment decision-making and sources of investment financing. Other topics are EU policy, subsidy programs and municipality management. The practical part describes the characteristics and analysis of financing the project „Capacity increase and modernization and of the wastewater treatment plant Popovice“. It also includes alternatives to investment financing of this project.

The second part introduces available support housing. The third part explains proceses housing construction in the CR and last part is focused on the housing policy of town Litomyšl.

Subsidies as a source for financing public construction contracts

This bachelor thesis deals with subsidies as a source for financing public construction contracts. The first part is focused on explaining the concepts related to the issue, such as investment, sources of investment financing, public procurement, etc. The second part describes the investment project of the municipality Mrákotín. This is the construction of a new sewerage system financed partly by subsidy sources of the Ministry of Agriculture and partly by a long-term loan. Based on the obtained information on the provided subsidies and loans and according to the results of the municipality's management in the years 2015-2019, other variants of financing this investment project were proposed.
