The effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on the dynamic stability of the lower limbs among the female softball players
Borůvková, Kristýna ; Srbová, Radmila (advisor) ; Froňková, Eliška (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on dynamic stability in junior softball players and examines the possibilities of influencing it with interventions based on proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. The theoretical part of the work defines basic concepts, the practical part consists of a professional study. The female players of the selected sample were divided into experimental and control groups and their dynamic stability was measured by the Y-Balance test. The results were subsequently compared with the standardized deviation, which shows the limit of the risk of injury to the lower extremities. The measurements performed neither confirmed nor disproved whether it is possible to influence the dynamic stability of the lower limbs using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation.

Sviteková, Sophie ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Šafářová, Marcela (referee)
The following bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the relationship between idiopathic scoliosis and defective position of the lower limbs and feet. At first, the thesis analyses the theoretical side of the problem - biomechanics and kinesiology of the spine and lower limbs, clasification of scoliosis and different types, postural stability, gait. In the following chapter, the thesis focuses on the issue from a practical side of view, which includes an examination of patients from different views, from behind, from the side, from the front and on a podoscope (physiosensing), which measures the static and dynamic load of the feet. As part of the examination, various assymetries of the spine and lower limbs are investigated in connection with idiopathic scoliosis. The results of all the measurements of the patients are in the final chapter compared to each other and subsequently, in the discussion part, with results examined by different studies dealing with the same issues. We try to find out if their results match with ours. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to find out, what impact have spine curvatures on the posture of the pelvis, lower limbs, feet and also the other way around. We are also proving the mutual connection between individual body segments which together make up one complex...

Possibilities of physiotherapy in tennis players with a focus on problems with lower extremities
ŠVADLENKOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor thesis deals with the lower extremities issues of tennis players, muscle imbalances, injuries and of influencing them by physiotherapy, by compensatory exercise. The goals of the bachelor thesis include the description of muscle imbalances of lower extremities of tennis players, mapping the most frequent injuries of lower extremities of tennis players and designing lower extremities compensatory exercise which could be included in the training plan. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis brings basic information about tennis, its history, description of basic tennis strokes, muscle loops and chains, muscle imbalances and the most frequent injuries of lower extremities. At the end of the theoretical part are presented suitable physiotherapeutic methods. In the practical part a qualitative research among tennis players aged 15-18 years from the tennis club LTC Pardubice was carried out. The research deals with 2 case reports of female tennis players and 1 of male tennis player. All of these players play tennis at the racing level, they participate tennis tournaments, and they had in their anamnesis some pain or injury of lower extremities. The research was carried out between October 2020 and May 2021. At the beginning of the research was made an initial examination, which included an anamnesis and a kinesiological analysis. The therapies were based on the initial examination and they included manual treatment, compensatory exercise, stretching and the method of post-isometric relaxation. After 8 therapies was performed an output kinesiological analysis and also was written an overall evaluation of the therapy.
Compensatory intervention exercise program for volleyball players
VANDASOVÁ, Tereza
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a compensatory intervention exercise program for volleyball players. The final work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical work describes the game of volleyball, anatomy of the knee joint and women in sports. This theory is used in the practical part. The players of the volleyball team SK Hlincovka aged 17-18 were selected for the research. Based on my own experience, I know what game activities cause knee injuries. The most common reason for injury is poor or completely missed stretching before and relaxation after training or a match. The aim of the work was to create a compensatory intervention movement program focused on overloading the knee joints in volleyball toys using yoga exercises. Respondents received a compensatory intervention exercise plan and five questions to answer. The first question concerned daily exercise in the current epidemic situation. Only 41.18% of respondents answered that they exercise regularly every day. The second question focused on the most and least popular exercise of the compensatory intervention exercise plan. Most players, i.e. 29.41%, agreed that they like exercise number 5 the most. On the other hand, more than half of the respondents, i.e. 52.94%, do not like exercise number 9. For the third question, concerning the disappearance of knee pain during a volleyball break, the players had a choice of three answers, with 50% of respondents choosing the answer " B "and replied that the pain had disappeared and they only felt it exceptionally. For the fourth question, concerning the observed changes in the knee joint, they again had a choice of three possible answers. Most respondents, i.e. 64.71%, chose the answer "B". Over time, their flexibility has improved, but they still have problems with certain exercises. In the fifth question, they answered whether they missed the team and how they train without teammates and without a trainer. This time they had a choice of four answers. Most respondents, i.e. 41.18%, chose the answer "D". They miss their teammates and would rather train according to the trainer.
Design and verification of an intervention program aimed at developing flexibility of lower limb muscles in athletes with mental disabilities.
MAŤHOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a suitable intervention program to develop flexibility of the lower limbs in people with mental disabilities. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part is focused on explaining the concepts of mental disability, flexibility and anatomy of the lower limbs, sports and the importance of sports in people with mental disabilities. The practical part is focused on the design of the intervention program to develop flexibility in the lower limbs in people with mental disabilities. Testing was performed at the beginning and end of the program and the results were subsequently processed. Protractors were used for testing and measuring the flexibility of the mm. adductores femoris and mm. flexores genus. Also a deep forward bend was examined, which measures the muscles of the back of the thighs. Thanks to the measured values, which are presented in the work, it was found that the chosen intervention program was successful and regular exercise and movement in people with mental disabilities has a good effect. The flexibility in the mm. adducteres improved by 11.54 ° on average after 14 days and in mm. flexores genus the client improved flexibility on the right leg by 17 ° on average after 14 days and on the left leg by 15.4 °. Testing of the deep forward bend in a sitting position show that the client improved by 7.69 cm on average after 14 days.

Laštiaková, Ema ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Hubená, Kristýna (referee)
Title: Comparative analysis of the swimming technique crawl Aim: The aim of this thesis is to perform a comparative analysis of the swimming technique crawl on a swimmer of younger school age. The comparison will focus on the different parts of the body that affect the efficiency of the movement. Another goal is to design and apply technical exercises to eliminate them based on the performed analysis and the detected errors and to perform an additional analysis of the correct technique. Methods: A comparison of the swimming technique crawl was performed for a proband of younger school age in the swimming pool in Tyrš's house. The swimming technique crawl was filmed from the left side under the surface, from the left side on the surface and then from the forehead on the surface. Subsequently, we analyzed the acquired data using Kinovea and the acquired footage was compared with the optimal model technique. Subsequently, we suggested suitable exercises to improve and correct the errors found. The filming took place in the beginning of 2022. After that, we performed the analysis of the obtained results. Results: The results of this work show that feedback to children through pictures, videos and verbal description has a significant positive effect on the change of crawl technique. Based on the...
The influence of running shoes on leg and pelvis kinematics during the stance phase of run
Novák, Čestmír ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: The influence of running shoes on leg and pelvis kinematics during the stance phase of run Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to detect whether there exists a connection between the type of shoes used and changes in pelvis and legs kinematics in sagittal plane while running. Methology: For a purpose of the thesis research 12 active sportsmen (6 men and 6 women) participated in lab tests. Each of them was running on a tread mill for three time sequences - each counting 20 seconds - with changes in conditions applied as follows: barefoot run, minimalistic shod run, classic shod run. The 3D analysis was analysed using the Qualisys system (200 Hz). Data analytics was executed using the Qualisys Track Manager programme, where a comparative method was applied. Further statistical procedures ANOVA a Tukey test were performed in a programme called OriginPro 8. Key findings: The executed lab tests proved influence of running shoes on legs and pelvis kinematics during a stance phase of run. The main changes in kinematics were found in an ancle during touchdown, where the angle significantly increased while running barefoot rather than classic shod running. An analysis of pelvis kinematics parameters has proven that there are no changes in pelvis movements while running in different types...
