The theoretical part describes the different areas about stress, burnout syndrome and employee turnover. With the help of analysis of the current situation and the research conducted, suggestions for improving the functioning of the company are recommended.

The Master´s thesis “Stress evaluation, coping and reduction” is dealing with a topic of work-related stress, which is very common at working places of many companies nowadays. The theoretical part is focused on definition of basic concepts of stress and common techniques of coping and reduction of stress. The practical part provides a measurement of certain level of work-related stress in Henkel Slovensko, spol. s r.o. company based on questionnaire survey. The conclusion of the thesis contains the recommendations focused on reduction of certain stress factors´ impact and precaution of formation of work-related stress.
Stress Management and Coping in Manufacturing Industry

The Bachelor´s thesis is focussing on stress management and coping in manufacturing industry. In the theses are explained basic terms which are related to the topic of stress and coping. Subsequently there is explained the relationship between stress levels and emotional inteligence and the relationship between coping and the character of a person, mainly in connection with Big five traits. In the thesis is also interpreted the compatibility of the P-E theory with stress management. The current situation is analysed by survey and subsequently processed with various statistical methods. Next from the current situation analysis are layed down precausions which can be implemented by employers, however there are also set precausions which can be implemented by employees themselves.

Motivational and demotivational factors in the profession of a general nurse

This thesis discusses the motivational and demotivational factors that influence the work of nurses and their sense of satisfaction. The aim of the research is to map the motivational and demotivational factors that affect work performance of the Kolin Regional Hospital. The research's chose quantitative method was done by survey. The questionaire and it's contents were prepared by the author. The creation of the questionaire was based upon several similar surveys. Based on the author's research, it was found that interpersonal relationships among nurses were among the most powerful motivational factors; conversely, dysfunctional interpersonal relationships were the strongest motivational factors for changing employers. Another one of the strongest motivational factors was positive feedback from the patients. Since the research was quantitative in nature and covered the entire hospital, it is the author's opinion that the study should be repeated periodically and further focus on individual departments to better determine motivational and demotivational factors that affect work performance and overall job satisfaction. Stress load in a specific job

This thesis called The stress load in a specific job is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part contains three main chapters. The first one describes the terms such as stress, mechanisms of stress reactions, prevention, mental hygiene, regime (way of living) in general. The second part related to the work stress describes the main stressors in a working environment and the impact of the stress on a job performance. The third part relates the job description of the employees in media company in relation to the stress and coping with stress. The empirical part is devoted to the research, which is conducted through a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was developed on the base of expressed hypotheses and it is composed of the three sections: 1) causes of stress, 2) symptoms of stress, 3) strategies of coping stress. Collected data indicate the level of the stress-workers in the media company, the most common stressors and the way how to prevent the stress.

The thesis deals with the issue of the stress load in specific job and it is divided into two main parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is based on a compilation of professional literature and describes the origin of stress, types of stress, possible stressors, the individual stages of stress, response to stress, stress on a workplace and general consequences of stress on human health. Furthermore, this thesis is focused on burnout syndrome and its main causes and consequences. The empirical part is based on quantitative research which is focused on extent of work load and burnout syndrome among employees in banking sector. Also it verifies the existence of correlation between the extent of the work load and sex, age, duration of practice and correlation between the burnout syndrome and sex, age and duration of practice. There was used a questionnaire survey for gaining all the data. The facts were processed and evaluated by statistical methods.
