OTDR optical path analyzer
Šimková, Barbora ; Tomašov, Adrián (referee) ; Dejdar, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis was a theoretical analysis of OTDR issues, analysis of OTDR device components, as well as basic parameters of this device. The thesis also includes a theoretical analysis of reflections, scattering, and various types of connectors. In the practical part, a circuit design for OTDR measurement was developed and subsequently implemented. The circuit was realized using the Red Pitaya development board and Koheron laser. Additionally, a circuit for direct method measurement was also created. In the LabView development environment, a program was created, including a graphical user interface. A laboratory task was also designed to provide a basic understanding of OTDR measurement issues.
Performance of the system for energy utilization from biomass
Koláček, Richard ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the problems associated with acquisition of experimental data from technological unit for biomass combustion with nominal capacity of 1 MW, with regard to determination of thermal efficiency. In the introduction part, parameters of currently available biomass-based fuels as well as of those with large potential in the future are summarized. Further, a review in the field of biomass combustion technology is given. Biomass boilers are compared according to their technical parameters, function and benefits and drawbacks. In theoretical part methods for determination of thermal efficiency by direct method, indirect method and modified indirect method are described. Main parameters influencing resultant values of efficiency are included into the analysis. In final part an evaluation of real operational data from prototype unit combusting wooden chips is made. Recommendations for further experimental data gathering and their processing with the aim to evaluate thermal efficiency are suggested.
Algebraic Equations Solution Convergence
Sehnalová, Pavla ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
The work describes techniques for solving systems of linear and differential equations. It explains the definition of conversion from system of linear to system of differential equations. The method of the elementary transmission and the transform algorithm are presented. Both of methods are demonstrated on simply examples and properties of conversion are shown. The work compares fast and accurate solutions of methods and algorithm. For computing examples and solving experiments following programs were used: TKSL and TKSL/C. The program TKSL/C was enriched with the graphic user interface which makes the conversion of systems and computing results easier.
Comparison of Methods of Determination of Boiler Efficiency
Kubiš, David ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deal with boiler efficiency and boiler efficiency assesment. Aim of the thesis is equation theoretic and experimental values of boiler efficiency. The first part of thesis is research methods for boiler efficiency assesment. This part describes the methods for determining boiler efficiency and theoretical comparison of these methods. The second part contains experimental measurement of the boiler efficiency and subsequently comparison and evaluation.
Software for Communication and Configuration of JSD600 Data Collection Unit
Pajgrt, Michal ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Kotásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes a JSD600 unit intended for mathematical processing, measuring and data recording. The JSD600 unit is highly intended for industrial measuring of water steam energy delivery.First part of the work focuses on basics of the JSD600 unit detailing and describing main structures and principles for relevant data storing.Next part summarizes some basic facts and knowledge from the area of industrial liquid flow, energy measuring and describes water steam states. All these points within this range are needed for dilemma understanding.Last task deals with complete list of communication datagrams, which have been used for communication with JSD600 unit, including a main packet of structure descriptions. The second part of this dissertation brings the unit setup application description including some implementation details of the most interesting parts.

Methodology Comparison of the Statement of Cash Flows as Regulated by Czech Accounting Legislation, IFRS and US GAAP
Přibáňová, Aneta ; Zelenková, Marie (advisor) ; Vašek, Libor (referee)
This masters thesis main focus is a statement of cash flows as regulated by czech accounting legislation, International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP. First chapter describes the importance of Statement of cash flows and his value added for users of financial statements. The historical context of the statement is shown, it is stated which entities are obligated to report statement of cash flows and lastly the internal structure of the statement is discussed. The second chapter begins by general methods of preparing the statement, then so called specific items are dealt with. The solution of some advanced accounting transactions (government grants, leases, loans, deferred payments etc.) is described. In the end the presentation and dislocure requirements are discussed. Last chapter contains research, where 99 companies are researched, answers are made concerning stated research questions and research hypothesis are concluded.
