Damage Caused to the Building work by contractor

The aim of the thesis is describe how discounts are formulated in construction work. Different types of discounts are discussed from the point of view of the constructor. Mechanisms of providing discounts and calculations of total discounts are studied. Contract and signing over the construction work are analysed, because of their importance to prevent disagreement between customer and constructor.
Study of Green Logistics Trends

The master theses focuses on the selection of a suitable drive for the company's internal transport vehicles focusing on new trends in green logistics. The theoretical part characterizes the concepts of logistics, supply chain and its components, legislative background and methods of multicriteria decision-making. The practical part describes the compared drives, defines the research area and describes the compared criteria. In the application part, methods of multicriteria decision-making are applied, namely the weighted sum method and the TOPSIS method. Based on the evaluation of the compared variants, a future change of the company's internal transport fleet was proposed.
Customer behavior in a running store

Title: Customer behaviour in a running store. Objectives: The main objective of the bachelor's thesis is to identify the behavior of different customer groups in a running store through marketing research. Methods: The method of observation was used to obtain the resulting data. The research was conducted in one store based on a form consisting of 16 different form items. Results: On the basis of the prepared forms, statistical surveys were made, from which the behavior of customers was described. Customers come to the store for advice, most of the customers are men and the main group of customers are recreational runners. The results of the research also brought other interesting findings, based on which the store's customer service can be improved. The socio-pedagogical work with minorities

This Diploma Thesis deals with the issues of social and pedagogical work with the minorities. The opening chapters aim to determine the basic theoretical terms and they introduce basic information about some selected national minorities. The core of the practical part of this work describes the processes and specific activities, which can help in integrating pupils, who belong to ethnic minorities, into the educational system. The closing chapters of this Diploma Thesis include an empirical survey, focused on professional orientation and vocational selection among the Roma pupils at the basic school in Obrnice. Attention is drawn to the family influence and the role of school and other institutions operating in this field.
Selection of application for project management in small digital firm

The bachelor thesis deals with the selection of a suitable application for project management in a smaller digital firm. In the practical part I worked with the IT firm Query Digital, s. r. o., which is formally classified as micro-enterprise. To achieve the chosen goal, multi-criteria decision making is used and the whole issue is considered a decision-making process. Based on the target group and my own knowledge, I set out the criteria and variants of decision making. Using selected methods, I determined the weight of the criteria and evaluated variants of decision making. The result is Teamgantt.
Application of multiple-criteria decision analysis to select the optimal B-segment vehicle acquisition variant

Theoretical part of the thesis describes principles of the multiple-criteria decision processes and methods that are considered as a very effective tool for solving more complex decision problem. Theoretical knowledge gained in the first part of thesis are subsequently used in the real case study, which searches for optimal B-segment vehicle according pre-set parameters. The study focuses on selection of a small company vehicle, firstly explores the real offer of B-segment vehicles available on the market in the Czech Republic. Work itself defines the selection criterion then assigns to each criterion appropriate decision weight, eliminates inopportune candidates and applies multiple-criteria decision analysis methods to find optimal acquisition variant. Final decision is concluded based on mix of the results obtained by the most suitable decision-making methods. Described procedure is applicable to both personal and company car or to any other asset acquisition.

Proposal Forms of Presentation of Faculty of Management for Foreign Students

The presented master thesis is focused on targeted communication and a college`s presentation for exchange students. It mainly deals with factors of foreign students which influence a process of choosing a particular school or faculty and their transfer to the content of the communication messages. The master thesis should help affectively addressing a specific segment of foreign students from chosen countries who are considering participating the ERASMUS programme, i.e. go to study abroad, thus they are potential students of the Faculty of Management (FM). This should lead to the full participation of the Faculty of Management in the ERASMUS programme, where the Faculty of Management would become a received institution, not only the sourced one. The main objective of the presented master thesis is to postulate an appropriate presenation`s form and content of comprehensive offer for foreing students which will be suitable with their wishes, needs and expectations. In order to achieve the main objective is conducted a survey among foreign students of chosen partner universities of University of Economics, Prague (UEP) at bachelor study programme. Its outpust are used to identify the main motives and incentives for decision to study abroad and selection of the host country and the host university or the faculty. These findings are transformed into proposition of the presentation in condition of the Faculty of Management and the town of Jindrichuv Hradec.
