Measuring the Driving Manoeuvres of Public Transport Vehicles
Habr, Vojtěch ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
Master’s thesis focuses on the the comfort and safety of passengers when using public transport vehicles. The introductory part summarizes previous studies and experiments on a similar topic. It also analyzes the development of night transport in public transport in Brno. The experimental part then describes the methodology and interprets the results of objective measurement of vehicle maneuvers with the XL Meter together with the subjective evaluation by passengers. Based on the outputs of these activities, it determines longitudinal and transverse acceleration limits for a comfortable and safe ride. In addition, emphasis is also placed on comparing the ride thorugh the measuring points during the day and at night. The analysis of the findings compares the results with previously performed experiments.
Analysis of vehicles driving maneuvers at low coefficient of adhesion
Šabík, Matúš ; Sedlák, Robert (referee) ; Tokař, Stanislav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with driving maneuvers at low coefficient of adhesion, especially in winter season. It includes a list of adhesion coefficients on many surfaces, published by various authors. Figures were through the use of statistical methods divided into normal and exceeding. There are described terms having impact on adhesion. For determination of adhesion was used tests like emergency braking, circle test and slalom. The major part contains specification of used vehicles, surfaces, weather conditions, measuring devices and realized tests. In addition to using accelerometer, there was a successful attempt to use timekeeping facilities to determine deceleration of vehicle. Acquired data were processed and compared to another publications.
Brake plate for rear automotive suspension
Krasula, Jan ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis main aim is proportional design of racing car rear brake shield. Race car was built in T1 group. At the beginning of thesis there will be devoted to introduce T1 group regulations and cross-country rally races. Questions of brakes and brake cooling will be resolved in second part. There will be calculations of cooling system function. At the end of thesis there will be place for design of brake shield.
Measuring the Deceleration of Motorcycles with the Use of Engine Braking
Vašica, Radoslav ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the deceleration of the motorcycles with the use of engine braking. Work can by divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part begins with the possibility of division motorcycles according to several criteria. Below is given the primary papers of literature, usable in connection with the issue of this work. Subsequently, the work discusses the factors which are affecting the course of the deceleration with the use of engine braking. The practical part acquaints the reader with available measuring devices, with the place of measurement and the methodology. The following are listed specific measured values for individual motorcycles, supplemented with graphical output. At the end of the practical part is for comparison a brief summary of the measured values of each tested vehicle. Interpretation and evaluation of the measured data are contained in the conclusion of the work.
Measuring of deceleration of heavy goods vehicles (greater than 12 tonnes) when slowing down using the motor
Süttő, Daniel ; Haring, Andrej (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with measuring the deceleration of lorries when they are braked by the engine. The weight of the vehicles given is bigger than 12 tons. The thesis can be divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part there are special presumptions to manage the given problem successfully. The stress is on the construction of lorries and on driving resistances which influence the process of deceleration a lot. The thesis also analyses the technical solution of each possibilities of braking and also the function of the gearbox. In the practical part the method of measuring is described. The measurement devices are also given through which the measurements were realized. The main part of this work is made by measured values of each lorries and the interpretation of measured values itself. The final evaluation of measured data are mentioned at the end of the thesis.
Simulator for check of seat belts function
Neuwirth, Zdeněk ; Prášil, Ludvík (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
Thesis is oriented on project construction universal apparatus for introduction and research effects deceleration and impact with possibility setting initial velocity. Basic application proposed test station is crash simulation for diagnostic safety belts. At first there're in work presented physical value that describe action in progress at impact, further safety belts, their testing and test . Considerable volume of work is devoted to project actuation, system obstruction kinetic energy and basic construction. Subsequently is presented proposed construction and performed strenght calculation. In the end there are summarized basic characteristics proposed construction, short financial opinion, process of installation and safety rules for using this equipment.
Influence of Powertrain Type on Vehicle Dynamics
Haniška, Jan ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to assess the influence of the vehicle’s powertrain concept on its driving dynamics. The assessment is carried out with the help of data obtained during driving tests done with test vehicles. As a testing cars were choosen 3 Hyundais Kona with different powertrain types, classic internal combustion engine, a hybrid and a purely electric. Performed tests were the so-called moose test, acceleration, deceleration and it was measured center of gravity for all vehicles too. From the data obtained during individual tests, it was subsequently assessed the influence of the vehicle powertrain type on its driving dynamics.
Selected issue of electric personal means of transport movement
Konečný, Dalibor ; Stáňa, Ivo (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
Diploma thesis The selected issue of electric personal means of transport movement is divided into three main parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of electric bicycles, electric scooters and electric skateboards. Furthermore, legislation, tuning and issues related to these means of transport. The second part is devoted to the current state of knowledge in this area. The last part is devoted to practical measurement, namely braking, acceleration, acceleration into curves, going through curves, transverse movement and deflection when looking back. There were 10 e-scooters with 9 different riders and 6 e-bikes with 12 different riders. At the end of the work, an overall evaluation is made.
Reliability of the GPS system in measuring key parameters of external load in youth soccer players.
Fojtík, Kamil ; Bujnovský, David (advisor) ; Vampola, Jindřich (referee)
Title: Reliability of the GPS system in measuring key parameters of external load in youth soccer players Objectives: The main objective of this study was to investigate reliability of a GPS system in measuring key parameters of external load in youth soccer players Methods: The research group consisted of 15 youth football players aged 15 - 18. They were U16 and U19 players from elite youth teams playing the highest competitions in their category. Players undergone field trials under the supervision of qualified professionals, which were running under the standard conditions described within the methology section of the theses. To determine the reliability of the GPS system, we used the Catapult Playertek system, where the player wore 3 trackers and performer various speed test field, on the football pitch on artificial grass of the third generation. Results: The results of the work provide information that, in terms of statistical significance, eighteen of the nineteen parameters are significant. In terms of substantive significance, 3 parameters have poor reliability - maximal acceleration and distances in acceleration zones 1 - 2 m·s−2 and 2 - 3 m·s−2 . 7 parameters have moderate reliability - distances in deceleration zones 1 - 2 m·s−2 , 2 - 3 m·s−2 , 3 - 4 m·s−2 and > 4 m·s−2 , distances in...
