Problem diagnostics by expert system

This paper refers to expert systems. Expert system is a computer program dedicated to giving an expert advice, decisions or recommending the best solution in a particular situation. This paper mentions four types of expert system which are commonly used in practice. Basic, additional and complementary components of expert systems are described. The practical part of this paper refers to the diagnostic problem of computer start based on expert system implemented in JAVA programming language and ECLIPSE IDE.

Erarbeitung und konstruktive Umsetzung eines Konzeptes zur Realisierung eines Radialventilators mit variabler Schaufelradgeometrie in Leichtbauweise

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem a konstrukcí mechanismu sloužícího ke změně geometrie lopatek oběžného kola u radiálních ventilátorů. Nejprve byl zvolen vhodný design, který byl poté zkonstruován s přihlédnutím k působícím silám a zatížením. Lopatka se skládá ze dvou částí - pevné, a pohyblivé. Pohyblivá část vysunout nebo zasunout zpět za pevnou část lopatky, čímž změní její délku, a tedy i provozní charakteristiky ventilátoru. Simulační část práce se zabývá vlivem změněné geometrie lopatek na výkon ventilátoru v jednom konkrétním pracovním bodě. Výsledky ukazují mírné snížení výkonu, na druhou stranu je ale ventilátor provozuschopný při širším spektru provozních podmínek. Závěr práce naznačuje potřebu dalšího výzkumu s cílem hlouběji poznat možnosti radiálních ventilátorů s kontrolním mechanismem.

Design of a parking brake for vehicles powered by an electric motor

This diploma thesis deals with issues in the field of latch parking brakes, specifically the control mechanism. The key element of the work was the structural design of this mechanism, which converts the rotary movement of the electric motor into the translational movement of the control member enabling the latch to be inserted and extended from the latch wheel. The research part describes the main components of the mechanism and a description of individual types of control. This is followed by the creation of four conceptual designs and the selection of the optimal solution using the method of weighted coefficients. The structural part contains analytical strength calculations of the chosen conceptual design, including the solution of the kinematics of the mechanism. This part also deals with the analysis of the torque from the activation spring depending on the rotation of the crank mechanism and the subsequent optimization of the electric motor. In the end, the analytical strength calculations of selected structural units are verified by FEM analysis to confirm the functionality of the mechanism.

The role of national parliaments in legislative process of European union

The aim of this thesis was to analyze roles of national parliaments in legislative process of European union and consider to which section and how can national parliaments influent the content and form of secondary law. In the theoretical part is described historical process of the state of national parliaments in European union and defined their todays roles. In the practical part was analyzed involvement and activity of national parliaments in EU. The first part of analysis is about czech parliamentary chambers and their adjustment for involvement in the union legislative process. The second part of analysis was examined the control mechanism for subsidiarity. Last part of analysis examined the whole activity involvement and actvity of national parliaments in the legislative process in reporting period in years 2014-2018.

Controlling Institutions in the Czech Republic: Status and Role of the SAO

This diploma thesis deals with control mechanisms and the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic, as the only constitutionally established control authority in the Czech Republic. The thesis deals with its position in the Czech legal system, its scope, the organizational structure and the principles in which the office operates, and last but not least its real control activities. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how far the Supreme Audit Office's audit findings lead to real remedy; i.e. the adoption of appropriate measures and their implementation. The theme of control institutions is not negligible and up-to-date almost constantly, as the existence of these institutions is one of the key conditions for the functioning of modern democratic states.

Effectiveness of control mechanisms of human rights treaties

6 Abstract Current international law contains several treaty instruments anchoring and regulating the area of human rights. It develops at both universal level, within the United Nations, and regional level, within special regional institutions. To make international human rights treaty effective, we must ensure it includes effective control mechanism that provides an efficient protection and promotion of human rights, thus ensure that the system has a positive impact on the enjoyment of the human rights by individuals. The quality of international human rights treaty depends on the quality of its control mechanism and its existence at all. The aim of this thesis is to present the international and regional human rights treaty system and how does it actually work. On the series of predetermined criteria I will try to evaluate the activity and practices of presented human rights treaties. The main part of the thesis represents a description of human rights treaty protection through the analysis of selected international human rights treaties. International human rights treaty protection takes place at the universal level, within the United Nations human rights treaty bodies, and at the regional level.
