Lookout tower
Jedzoková, Patricie ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The object of the diploma thesis is design and assessment of a steel lookout tower situated in Beskydy mountains. Two different variants were designed. The first variant is of square shaped plan and the second one is of hexagonal shaped plan. Both variants are spatial truss structures. They are shaped as hourglass. The variants were compared and the first one was chosen to be further developed. The lookout tower is 36 meters high and it is divided by floors. One floor is 3,6 meters high. The widest section is 8 meters, the narrowest section is 5 meters wide. The structure is pin-supported into concrete foundation. The concrete is class C25/30. The roof covering is made of trapezoidal sheet of class S280GD. Each steel element is made of steel of class S355.
Steel structure of an industrial building
Kopecký, Ladislav ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Industrial hall with storage outbuilding. The length of the hall is 72 meters and width of 30 meters. The main hall has a span 24 meters and the outbuilding has a span 6m. The distance between primary steel frame is 6 meters. The height of the main hall is 10.7 meters and a height of outbuilding is 13.0 metres. The roof is flat with roof slope of 3.5% the main hall and 8.75% outbuilding. The structural system of the hall's bar structure. Primary steel frame is designed as a steel frame rafter with eaves haunch. In the roof structure are designed purlins. The stability of the structure is secured by roof braces and longitudinal braces. The hall is pin-supported on the foundation pad. The hall is clad wall and roof panels PUR. Main hall is equipped with a bridge crane with capacity of 8 tons.
Sports hall
Sosna, Martin ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and structural assessment of the steel sports hall in Dobruška. The dimensions of the rectangular floor plan are 33x66m and the height is 13,42m. The structural system consists of twelve main frames, which are made of columns and arched trusses. The structural system is a two-hinged frame. Single main frames are mutually connected with purlins and girts. The spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by sway bracings and longitudinal bracings. Kingspan sandwich panels were chosen for the cladding system.
Business Centre
Dušek, Ivo ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
This Master thesis was about calculation and design of supporting steel bar structure multi storey administrative building. Steel structure with rotation symmetric floor plan has sixteen storey. Maximal size of building is 100x100m. Structural design report is made by a combination of manual calculations and calculations using software RFEM by Dlubal. Structural design report includes calculations of secondary beam, primary beam, column, bracing, purin, truss girder and others part of structure with their connections. Thesis includes drawing documentation and report.
Storage hall with administrative part
Žáček, Libor ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the design and assessment of the steel load-bearing structure of a storage hall with an administrative part. The proposed building is located in Uherské Hradiště. The floor plan of the building is 24 x 40 m and the height is 9.0 m. The main load-bearing structure is designed as a two-hinged frame made of rolled IPE profiles. The girders and axillars are designed from thin-walled profiles. The ceiling structure in the administrative part is designed as a composite concrete slab in trapezoidal sheet.
The Multipurpose House in České Budějovice
Špačková, Eva ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of the supporting structure multifunctional building in the Czech Budejovice . The construction of a sphere with a maximum diameter of 30 m and a height of 19.5 meters the highest point . The supporting structure consists of curved ribs , elevator shaft and ceiling beams . The structure is designed in 4 versions . Two variants are made of steel, the third option is wooden and the latest version solves a combination of wood and steel. In the variant selected is done loading , ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state , fire resistance and compounds selected details.
Building of Centre of Livestock Production
Vidová, Miriama ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
My diploma theisis is focused on design and assessment of structural systém of industrial building in tended for livestock farming. The design is processed in two options. Both oft hem has the same dimensions but cross sections of the supporting elements are changed. Floor plan of the first part is a rectangular shape, dimension is 29,28 m x 24,8 m. Floor plan of the second part is a rectangular shape, dimension is 161,18 m x 46,8 m. Slope of saddle roof is 18°.
Steel structure of sport hall in Brno
Jedzoková, Patricie ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and structural assessment of the steel structure of sports hall in Brno. The dimensions of a floor plan are 35x78 m and height 15,4 m. The structure consists of fourteen main trusses, the distance between them is 6 m. They consists of arched trusses, which are pin-supported by fixed columns. The main trusses are connected by purlins and girts. The spatial ridity of the structure is ensured by transversal bracings and longitudinal bracings. Kingspan panels are utilize fot the structure cladding.
Multi-purpose sports building
Šandor, Peter ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The goal of my thesis is the design of a multipurpose sport hall in Litoměřice locality made in two separate variants. Objects ground plan dimensions are 38x38 meters and the height of the object is 16 meters. Used material is S235 steel and C20/25 concrete. The periphery and roof casing of the object is realized from sandwich panels. The carrying construction of the object is made from cross truss, oblong truss and from pillars. Thesis consists of assessing the carrying elements of the construction, selected details and drawing documentation.
Business Centre
Suchomel, Tomáš ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s thesis is to design a load-bearing steel structure for a multi-storey building. The building is of 35 x 35 m floor plan. The roof is at height of 48,5 m which is the 13th above-ground floor of the building. In the bottom half of the building, the floor plan area is continuously decreasing from the ground up while in the top half of the building, the floor plan area is increasing from the middle to the top part of the building. The floor plan area of the ground floor and the top-most floor are of the same size. Two alternative plans were designed. They are of the same shape of the structure while differentiating in the solution for the spatial rigidity of the structure. The ceiling design is designed as a joist system. The structure was assessed by ULS and by SLS in accordance with valid eurocodes. The structure is glass-sheathed.
