SIP client with advanced features
Šacl, Vojtěch ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Zukal, Martin (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is the design and implementation of client software, which will be able to conduct text and video communication over an IP based network. The client application is supposed to run from a web page without the need of any additional software. The first part describes possible technologies suitable for the development of such an application. After that follows a brief description of the selected technology with emphasis on SIP protocol. The thesis also includes a brief description of characteristics of libraries that were considered for implementation into the application. The proposed solution consists of the description of the graphic environment and behavior of the application. The developed application is tested in different situations in the last part of the thesis.
Service Messenger for Windows
Popelka, Petr ; Lamoš, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the process of communication in Ethernet based on TCP/IP model. Client – server application was designed and realized using this model. This application can be used to send service messages between groups of doctors and workplace of OKB in FN Brno. This thesis also describes current laboratory equipment and communication between them laboratory information system using the protocol ASTM. This communication can be later used to develop other features of the designed application.
Network communication in .NET Framework
Müller, David ; Hasmanda, Martin (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis provides an introduction to the .NET environment and its tools for network communication as well as the principles of web applications and services. It also briefly describes the C# programming language, JavaScript and the principles of object-oriented programming. On this basis, the second part of the thesis describes the development of a web application: The Qwirkle game for 2 to 4 players. Its development is documented from analysis through design and implementation up to testing of the finished application.
PC Remote Controller for Android
Melicherík, Petr ; Klicnar, Lukáš (referee) ; Chrápek, David (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with a design and a creation of a pair of applications that provides a complex remote control for Windows-based computer. Applications are collectively named UnderControl. A mobile device running Android serve as the remote control device. A connection between the devices operates on a standard network client-server architecture. The applications provide three modes of functionality, which use two wireless technologies, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The first two modes provide a functionality of the remote control without a video transmission. They differ in the technologies used for communication. The third mode, which operates via Wi-Fi, provides the real-time transmission of a remote desktop. Applications were primarily implemented in Java.
Crowd-Sourcing Games for Annotations
Šujan, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to develop and implement a gaming application for the operating system Android, the purpose of which is to gather image annotations. The main purpose of this application is to simplify and improve this process, to extend the data range of these annotations and to provide entertainment for its users. The implementation of the application was processed in programming languages Android for the client segment and PHP for the server.
Online Flash Communication Platform
Krupa, Peter ; Minařík, Miloš (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis dealt with issue of creating communication platform via Flash technology. It includes study of the possibilities this technology brings along with cooperation of using other available   open-source sources for designing communication software. Beside this analysis, my work contains guideline, how to proceed in a matter of designing this kind of a project and working  plan I've chosen. I've done my best to put to my work all information about this problem and tried to show a possible way, how to finish the task as this project was.
Computer Remote Control Using Cell Phone
Řeháček, Prokop ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of remote control application using Bluetooth wireless technology. The work introduces a modern Android operating system and software development for this system. Application of remote control consists of parts: client for Android OS and server for GNU/Linux. The client was implemented in Java and the server has been created using the Qt toolkit and C++. Software development is divided into parts: design, implementation and testing. The result of this thesis is software that can control multimedia programs for audio and video files.
Bluetooth Remote Controller
Kratochvíl, Martin ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Škarvada, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create an universal system for a remote computer control by a cellular phone. The system uses Bluetooth technology for wireless communication. It focuses on extensibility and ease of configuration, simple usage and low power requirement on the cellphone.
A Jabber/XMPP Transport for News via the NNTP Protocol
Halfar, Patrik ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This document mention some possibilities of information sharing over computer networks. At the beginning there is described exchange information between group of users by NetNews . Next chapter make short introduction to project Jabber/XMPP and its possibilities. Other part appropriate to possibility combination these services and comment implemented application. There are include descriptions how configure most known Jabber servers for use of this application. There are contain XML schemes of uses files too.
Network Game: Destroy the Submarine
Jašek, Petr ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis describes development of a simple network computer game. This thesis describes basic scheme of computer game development. Also an analysis of various implementation of network is made in this thesis. The output of this work is a computer program written in the C++ language. For implementation of the network the Boost 1.50.0 library was used. Network communication was implemented as client-server architecture with usage of the UDP protocol. For implementation of graphics and sound, the Allegro 5.0.7 library was used.
