Bio-psycho-social-spiritual model in the buprenorphine substitutional treatment

This thesis is focused on the application of holistic, bio-psycho-social-spiritual model of dependence to concrete therapeutic method, namely to the substitution treatment of persons dependent on opiate addictive substances with synthetic opioid buprenorphine. The aim is to describe the essence of BPSS model of addiction, with the specifics of opiate addiction, and the treatment system based on it. Also, to show substitution therapy as one of the most effective methods that improves quality of a dependent person's life. Further, to confirm the need for a holistic perception of substitution treatment when ersatz drug use itself is not a real chance for dependent persons, unless such treatment is accompanied by psychosocial and spiritual therapeutic approach. Another objective is to map the risk that, in practice, the substitution therapy initiation in a holistic range brings in the context of contemporary reality. The work will consider approach bases to opiate addicts, especially the optics of lifelong abstinence versus controlled use, leading to better quality of dependent person's life. Extracurricular activities for children and youth with autism spectrum disorders

Diplomová práce seznamuje s jednotlivými symptomy a typy pervazivních vývojových poruch. Předkládá možnosti využití široké škály různých přístupů či programů při práci s těmito žáky. Věnuje se hře ve spojení s poruchami autistického spektra a s využitím volného času v rámci školy, rodiny či projektu. Práce nastiňuje jednotlivá úskalí mimoškolních aktivit dětí a mládeže s poruchami autistického spektra. Zdůrazňuje, jakou významnou pozici mimoškolní aktivity v životě dětí a mládeže zastupují a jak důležité jsou pro všestranný rozvoj. Dále mapuje volnočasové aktivity, kterým se věnují děti a mládež s poruchami autistického spektra v rámci rodiny, školy a nejrůznějších projektů. Nedílnou součástí mimoškolních činností se stává hra, kterou lze využít jako jednu z možných forem práce s dětmi a mládeží s poruchami autistického spektra. Volný čas a hra se také prolíná návrhem projektu, který je součástí diplomové práce. Projekt nese název: "Společná škola v přírodě".

The Approach of Czech Health System to Psychosomatic Medicine in Comparison with International Discourses

The research problem in this thesis is the quality of treatment of Czech patients suffering from somatoform disorders. The goal is to evaluate the state of scientific discourse of Czech specialists in Psychosomatics, compared with the international situation as a potential starting point of further institutional change, including its legitimacy (interviews with citizens). Methods were used: (1) critical discourse analysis and (2) semi-structured interview. Findings: The existence of barriers between representatives of the various professional disciplines prevents the development of Czech scientific discourse of Psychosomatics, combined with the applied reform changes focused on individualism and competition. Czech Republic unsufficiently utilizes the knowledge support from international organizations (WHO, OECD, EU) in the field of mental health policy. The formation of Czech health policy is not compliant with human rights related to health and is more focused on the question of financing than on patients' health. Citizens perceive deficits in psychosomatic approach and try to substitute with complementary and alternative forms of medicine.

Lifestyle changes and their impact on tourism

The aim of this thesis is to analyse lifestyle changes and their impact on tourism. Goal to zoom in on the changing trend in the area of lifestyle, nutrition and wellness toward health. The theoretical part explains the lifestyle as a term and characterizes the wellness concept and worldwide trends in the field of wellness. It also represents the alternative methods, therapies and wellness services. It also deals with the problems of nutrition and nutritional alternative styles and introduces some of the results of the World Health Survey in the Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis includes own research on the preferences of the Czech population in the area of lifestyle, which is based on a questionnaire.
